I come here on a weekly basis. Customer services is great, they know exactly what I want. My daughter always does her homework and sometimes she forgets to bring a pencil from school so when we sit down the server will bring a pencil without us having to ask. I always get chicken wings, iced coffee, and rare steak beef noodle. Its the absolute best broth I’ve ever had and it beats the other Phở Saigons by far.

Pretty Average. Nothing great and nothing bad. I will go if I am hungry and not in mood for anything fancy.

An average casual Vietnamese restaurant close to I-580. Good for a quick lunch during workday. I had Grilled Beef Over Rice, it was alright. Can’t comment on their Phở, will have to come back to try it.

Came here on Sunday morning, because it’s the only restaurant not crowded in this plaza. The host looked at us, and turned away. We stood there for another 2−3min before he turned around and ask us «how many in your party?» We ordered the tomato based salmon vermicelli soup and rice plate combo. Both are just 3 stars. The pork chop was half fat, ¼ bone, ¼ meat. Very nasty IMO. I forgot to mention that we had to ask 3x for water before they finally brought us some water. One star for the service, 2 stars for the food.

My favorite phở restaurant in the area! Service is always so welcoming and great, they know my friends and i’s order now since we’re here so often. Love them soooo much! Our usual: Bun Bo Hue with rice noodles in lieu of the usual fat ones with extra noodles and added tripe on the side(it’s an extra $ 2 for the noodles/tripe but so worth it imo) Their normal beef broth phở is really great too! Always leave the place with full and happy stomachs.

One word, MSG. Small phở barely satisfied my hunger, for $ 11 total.

So this is just an average phở place and my go to spot when other places are closed. As other Unilocalers mentioned it’s also not the cleanest place either. So I just come here for drinks instead of quickly’s. Anyway I just came in for a coffee and was offered a small or large… I thought this is new, so I opted for a large. Then I see a large is a normal sized cup! It’s sad how some places do retarded things to pinch pennies from customers only to deter them from never returning. Bye Phở Saigon!

The establishment is very clean, service is friendly and phở has a normal and satisfying taste. Definitely nice to have this in the area. Ordered chicken wings as well. the dipping sauce for the wings really makes it worth it to buy again. I would eat here again.

Parking: Open, no problems grabbing a spot Service: Decent, however can anyone name a vietnamese phở spot that ever keeps your water cup full throughout the entire meal? #goodluck Food: From phở tai to phở ga this location has their menu items selected properly. The food comes to the tables and is tasty as youd expect. The portions are a bit smaller, even with extra noodles. Larger, open type seating is most helpful when you dont want to hear everyones business from the surrounding tables. There isnt much competition around the area so this looks like the go-to for now!

We went to Phở Saigon 2 on Sunday by default. The wait upstairs at Koi for Dim Sum on Sunday was way too long and we saw the 49er game on TV in Phở Saigon 2. We got a table right in front of the TV so we could watch the game. We ordered 3 noodle soups and a green Papaya Salad. The Green Papaya Salad with shrimp was excellent. #1 Phở combo with extra meatballs were OK The Bun Bo Hue broth was OK but the toppings were missing a lot of things like pork hock and pork pork blood cake. The Oxtail Phở was terrible. It was the beef Phở broth with 5 or 6 small oxtail pieces. Also, the ice coffee comes premade and in a tiny glass. see pics Service was good and they did have the 49er game on. I guess they do catch a lot of over flow from Koi. I would only recommend the Green Papaya Shrimp Salad.

I’ve been to enough phở places to know the difference between whats good and what’s all wrong. This was by far the most awful phở I’ve ever had. The broth was so bland it was almost like we were slurping noddles from water. The spring rolls weren’t fresh, and the peanut sauce along the side was frozen cold. The only thing that set this place aside from the other restaurants in the plaza was it’s cleanliness but what good is it if the food isn’t edible and the workers aren’t attentive.

I like this place. The owners are friendly as well as the staff. This time I chose to not eat phở because I was still too full from breakfast. CL ordered the BBQ pork with vermicelli and I ordered the the egg rolls and fried chicken wings. This is CL’s favorite phở place because the portions are huge. The egg rolls are very good. I wish that they cut up the chicken wings. They were okay but I miss one vietnamese restaurant that used to make butter fried chicken wings and they were just wings no drummettes. I will definitely come back here if I’m in the area. This place is considered pretty clean for a phở place and the restaurant is huge. They always seem to forget the drinks. I ordered a iced coffee and it was delicious!

I come here on my lunch breaks because 1. Its very close to my work and 2. The food is such a hit every time. I usually get the combination plate which include chicken wings, pork chop and rice. With a side order of the red bean smoothie or red bean jelly drink. Each dish comes with salad and soup — love that it comes out right after you order. Cause I’m usually starving. The waitress or server usually doesn’t bug you unless you look at them, so you are basically at peace when you eat!

Not bad, not amazing! Seems like most Vietnamese places that are average priced are pretty average in food. The phở is a little more expensive(7 – 9 $) than I am used to, but it is decent! I really enjoyed the lemongrass curry chicken rice plate. The service is great, I went when there were very few people there.

Vietnamese food is my favorite food, and I eat it all the time. This was the worst phở I’ve ever had! The beef stew was thick and gritty, and it had two huge piece of ginger. I had to force myself to eat it and didn’t even finish it. The place is not clean at all. They had bugs flying everywhere and crawling on the table as well. The table was barely wiped down. They also took way too long to take our order as well as bring the food out.

It’s your regular neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant with decent phở at affordable prices. Service is friendly and quick — our orders all came out in 5 – 10 minutes after ordering. It’s also a little rushed, with the attendant swiping an empty dish as soon as the spoon hits the plate — although this is almost usual at Asian restaurants. I did like the green papaya salad, which I rarely see in phở places. Also, clean dining area and washrooms a major plus.

I’m not much of a Unilocal reviewer anymore but I do reference it when I’m trying to find a good spot to eat. I feel the need to review now because my experience was so far apart from the experiences I read about on Unilocal.I ended up eating here last night purely out of convenience despite so many negative reviews and found that I actually really enjoyed my meal. I’m accustomed to phở in Viet-town in east San Jose so I feel like my standards are fairly high in the Vietnamese food world. My boyfriend and I both ordered a #8(house special), mine a small and his a large. The soup was flavorful and had way more(tasty) meat than I could eat. Noodles were a little lacking in my small bowl but overplentiful in my boyfriend’s large bowl. I thought the service was fine. Waitresses were polite and left us alone for the most part but came to refill water a couple times. Don’t forget this is a Vietnamese restaurant, most notorious for good food but crappy service so on that scale, Phở Saigon 2 actually has considerably good service.

Phở Saigon i’ve avoided till now. came here cuz SOHO next door was on a mid day break. eats: phở tai gan(L. 7.25) –probably a medium in oaktown –broth very sweet(rock sugar, msg?) and some star anise flavors –tai less than 10 slices, gan many small shreds –still hungry an hour later –not a good value, thus 2 stars. –noodles slightly chewy. leftovers: –flatscreens tuned to tv ads –everything available on table, no checkins –a banh mi(3.85) take out probably better option. –friendly, smiling greeting…

Good Phở here. — flat screen on wall. — 2 servers. Food comes out quickly. Eats: #8 large(beef bowl) & fried chicken and pork chop plate.(18.00) — good sized soup bowl. — Meat portion was enough. — noodles soft, soup flavor okay. Fried chicken and pork chop — no complaints. Customer service: Not a fan — no refills, no check-ups. — Felt rushed, workers cleared off our table before I could pay… smh. Would come here again.

My husband and I were in the area and decided to give this place a try. The dining room was clean with a nice ambience. The service was a little substandard and the food was just okay. Overall the experience was good, but nothing really special. My husband and I ordered the Banh Mi(Vietnamese Sandwiches), one beef, one chicken. The sandwiches were made with a flakey French bread type bun which made up about 50%-70% of the sandwich. The sandwiches also had a very small amount of meat in them. The beef sandwich had less meat than the chicken sandwich and I actually ended up leaving a lot of bread behind cause there was so much of it. Wasn’t as good as I anticipated. One good thing about this place is that they were super fast. Good place for a quick bite. Otherwise, I may suggest trying another spot for Vietnamese cuisine.
