Not bad of a place for food except that that they have wood crown moldings. However the tables look modern and chairs. Service quality is okay.
They have a large space inside, however there are lots of glass windows, in that case, people can break in easily, and restrooms are disgusting. There is also a beam in the middle, which makes it not feel that open. When you walk in it doesn’t really have that WOW Factor. However, the space is very very traditional! Despite the negatives, this restaurant appears to be popular. Also the music is very Vietnam.

pork and egg roll over rice vermicelli — meat was good. egg roll look like it had more filler than i’d like. bbq chicken over rice vermicelli — decent. large phở — pretty good. the broth and noodles were flavorful. service was alright. atmosphere and décor is typical for a viet restaurant.

Customer service was horrible from our waitress she just always seem like she was in a hurry and didn’t have time for us. The food was a little more than OK. I liked the broth for the rice noodle soup’s. They got our eggrolls order incorrect because the waitress was too much in a hurry to walk off. They brought out spring rolls instead of fried rolls I was worried that when we got the correct order they were going to spit in our food or something. I might try it one more time, maybe the lady was having a bad day or something

I used to enjoy an occasional noodle bowl at Phở Saigon City. I especially loved any with a spicy broth when I had a cold or hay fever.

Close to school/work so when I have the hankering for a good bowl of Phở, I go to this place. I always get their special combo #3 all the fixings(beef ball, steak, brisket/flank, tendon and tripe) which only comes in large. Their broth is different than the ones I frequent to closer to home. It has more of a oily, rich beef broth taste compared to some other phở place. They don’t skimp on noodles too. I could not finish the broth itself but I made sure I got all the good meat at the bottom of my bowl. Make sure to get here right when they opened at lunchtime because this place get packed and you’ll end up waiting in line to get a table. The service is hit or miss. There were days when the servers are very friendly and there were days when they won’t even engaged with you or even acknowledge you. Their prices are pretty affordable for the portions you get.

Swung by here for a late evening dinner during a weekday night. It was a chilly night so phở was the way to go! First time here and this place is huge! There are plenty of tables and there were plenty of open tables when we walked in. Seated immediately and ordered two bowls of phở(small/medium/large sizes). I walked to the restroom and came back, my phở was sitting at my table! THATWASQUICK! Probably the quickest I’ve had phở delivered to my table. No complaints about this place — broth was delicious and well-portioned. Yum! Walk to the front register to pay for your meal when you’re satisfied.

Their rice plates are substantial and their BBQ meat are good. Phở is average. Not bad for a phở place in tri valley.

The worst… I decided to bring my family of 12 out to eat. The service was poor along with the food. Save your money! The staff doesn’t communicate with each other. We ordered three appetizers and received 6!?! Then they yelled at us because we ordered incorrectly. They then blamed us for the wrong orders because we had too many people. Please spend your money and time elsewhere. It’s not worth it.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I love phở, but this place has HORRIBLESERVICE! The workers suck at customer service. When I walk in with my sister, the place is pretty empty, so I hoped that service would be fast. WRONG. It took them 20 minutes or so just bring out 3 glasses of water. My other friend joined us with her nephew as well. While our server took our order, I already knew she was going to get it wrong because she seemed so distracted and didn’t even give any eye contact. 30 minutes or so later, my prediction was correct. She messed up my order. We also asked for an extra bowl and water. There goes another 20 minutes. Did I mention that the place was pretty empty? This is the last time I’m coming back here. I can’t stand the slow and rude service. If you ever see some asian girl wearing maroon vans, expect her to get your order wrong the first time.

I’ve ate here at least 3 times in the last couple of years, found the food to be fresh. They serve you quickly if you know what you want. I’ve yet to try most of their specialties, but in general I’ve ate this style cuisine a thousand times with my Asian friends over the last 20yrs, so I know what to expect. I will go back for sure.

The service is here is great. The food is on the cheaper side and the portions are on the larger size. I would definitely have trouble finishing a large bowl of phở. Additionally, I have never had a bad meal at this place. One thing that definitely needs to be mentioned is the speed of service. ITISQUICK! I normally get my food within 10 minutes of ordering the dish. Definitely one of the fastest phở places I have ever been to. Lastly, if you are new to phở restaurants, you need to know that you need to walk up and pay at the front. They do not normally bring the bill to your table.

The worst service and the food was ok. Sat down the waitress took forever to come over, then folks who were seated after us got their food before we did. And, the waitress forgot half our order, just a miserable experience.

LLLLLOOOOOOVVVVEEEEDDD it!!! I was on my way to a meeting and had some time to kill and was starving. Since it was 60 degrees that morning, I had to get a nice bowl of pipping hot phở. I did a Unilocal search and Phở Saigon City with great reviews came up and I hit directions. It’s nice that they open at 10am so I got there around 10:15. It was a pretty big place with lots of tables and the employees are very nice. I got small beef, tendon and tripe phở and it was only $ 7. For small size and just $ 7, it was definitely a bargain. The tendon and tripe were very tender and flavorful and the beef was delicious. I’m looking forward to going to Phở Saigon City again.

I only gave this place a one star since I’m not able to give my opinion. The service sucks unless if you are a regular or of Asian descent. When my wife and I we were waved to the table and menus thrown at us. We were craving Phở and settle on this shitty ass place once again. I would not ever eat or spend another dime of my hard earned money in this place for them to treat me like a foreigner. And also the place smell shitty as you wait for your tab of which the cashier yells out your amount. Do not EATHERE!!!

Good food, extensive menu, and speedy service. They also have a very good selection of juices and pearl teas. I will definitely recommend it to others and will go back there often. Very reasonably priced. Their grilled shrimp vermicelli was so delicious that nothing was left in the bowl when I was done. Can’t wait to go back there again.

All I can say is Yummm! I love this place simply because you can always expect the same delicious Phở every time. Sure the ambiance isn’t 5 starts, but it’s really all about the food that keeps me coming back. I love hole in the wall places like Phở Saigon City because you are pleasantly surprised at the end of the meal. Their egg noodles are so fresh and the portion sizes are huge! Even the small is enough to fill you up and leave you satisfied. I would suggest starting with the A3 For an appetizer, usually enough to serve two people maybe three if you are ok with sharing. And my go to is #21 w/egg noodles and of course a mix of their hoisen sauce and siracha to dip the chicken in. Enjoy!

Not bad place to eat on a cold night. Low price but also low level of customer service. Ordered Bun bo hue and it’s not bad. Didn’t include blood cube and not spicy enough. Price: good Service: ok Quality: nothing new or sticks out than other phở places Will we return: yes

Oh yeah I likey this place. Try eating phở on a 104 degree day in Dublin. Not so fun. But everything else was pretty tasty. I frequent the Little Saigon section of the TL in SF, so I think I know my way around Vietnamese food. And this place is actually pretty good. Ordered up the requisite phở, a bbq chicken and rice, and fried spring rolls. To go. All pretty good, especially the bbq chicken. It was cooked perfectly. Quantity was perfect too. Spring rolls were still crispy when I got home, and the little ones loved them. The phở was good — not the best, but maybe because it was searing hot outside. Maybe more mint? Quick too. And busy. And huge for an Asian restaurant. No complaints here. We’ll be back!

Service: 4⁄5 stars Always greeted when walked in. Offered Tea or Water prior to ordering. Food: 4⁄5 Stars I’ve had better but this place is NOTTOOBAD :) this is the go to spot in dublin /pleasanton . The food always come out quick and hot. I always order . –Phở Tai(rare steak) Sach(tripe): 5⁄5 Star phở with trip and rare steak on the side cause I don’t like it fully cooked. So I cook it to my liking in my bowl. Or –Bun Thit Nuong(vermicelli, grilled pork) 5⁄5 Star Which is vermicelli, grilled pork and veggies. And they give you this fish sauce to pour over UR noodles with and or to dip your meat into. Yummy !! Appetizer: 5⁄5 Cha Gio Which is the fried Eggrolls. It’s sooo crispy and yummy :)

Tragedy led to a new discovery. After witnessing the monumental collapse of the Green Bay Packers today, my friend and I needed to find a restaurant to console each other(not that we are actually Green Bay fans, but we just DONOT like the Seattle Seahawks). Our original plan was to find a Korean restaurant, but it seemed like all the Korean restaurant owners were watching the game as well, as all the spots were closed. So we ended up at Phở Saigon City, a place that I hadn’t known until today. We picked the place mainly because the game between New England and Indianapolis was playing on their TV. I needed a massive amount of food to ease my grief so I went with the #2(X-Large combo w/rare steak slices, brisket, flank, tendon, and tripe). My sensible friend went with the #49(Grilled pork chop, shredded pork, and egg over rice). After ordering, we looked at each other and started analyzing the Green Bay loss. Our food arrived within five minutes. Clearly size matters to these people since my extra large bowl of phở was served in a small tub! I tried the broth first. It was decent, with a definitely hint of MSG in it. Noodles were cooked well as they were not mushy. The different cuts of beef were alright as well. They definitely didn’t skim on the portions. My friend enjoyed her rice plate as well. She said the grilled pork chop was quite tasty. The place looked clean and the service was satisfactory. I will definitely go back there again, but hopefully not under the same circumstances like today!
