With great sadness we went to Vito“s Express for the last time. They are closing on Saturday because their greed(J.Tong) has raised their rent out of sight… The best pizza in tri valley is closing. I hope all of you that have enjoyed this wonderful, friendly and charitable place will express your displeasure with Grafton by going elsewhere to have a meal. GREED, GREEDGREED. Viro’s, we will miss you. Please find a local place so that we can continue our patronage.

UPDATE: Due to an increase in rent from the lovely Mr Tong’s rental group(the same guy who has single handily ruined East Dublin ie where’s the promenade?), Vito’s will be closing on 6⁄12. Such a loss to the community given all of the fundraising they did for locals as well as hosting dinners like one for shady Mr Tong and East Dublin residents. Piece of work that guy. Vito’s will be missed. *** I love Vito’s. They are responsible for about a 7 – 10 pound weight gain for me, but I love them anyways. Thankfully I moved away from them so I can’t go as often, otherwise I’d probably be over 200 lbs. When I lived within walking distance, my boyfriend and I would go nearly every Friday. Let it be known, that if you don’t get there early on Friday, the place can get packed. Other weekdays, you have your choice of seating(not busy). Their arugula/prosciutto pizza is delicious but we usually go with their combo(with ranch because we are snobs). We’ve tried some of their other pizza selections but always go back to those two. We also get beer to go with our pizza because we are red blooded Americans and we always try to choose one of the two that are on their special magnetic cup tap. If you collect 10 of those magnets then you get a free cheese pizza(or that amount deducted from your bill). Now that we don’t live near Vito’s, we don’t go nearly as often. However, when we do, it is just as delicious as we remember it being and it brings back great memories of stumbling home full, drunk, and happy.

Surprisingly impressed! Live close by and decided to finally try this place out. Small little hole in the wall. Staff is warm and inviting. Since it was our first time here, we asked the staff for their recommendation. We tried the Siciliana Schiacciatta and the garlic knots. WILLNOTDISAPPOINT! I’d give them 5 stars if they would deliver. Glad they found a home in the Dubworld.

My favorite food is pizza and I like trying out new places. Vitos Pizza takes bottom of the list. Too much sauce. Pepperoni was not fresh … I’m better of buying pizza from a freezer and baking it myself…

Love the pizza! Great, family owned business. Personal and service. One of my «to-go» places for sure!

We came back again recently and had a small pizza and a side of garlic knots. It was nice to be able to walk in and be seated right away, so we were happy with the prompt service. We ordered garlic knots right away and were able to watch them being prepared from our table. The kitchen is in clear view, so that’s a neat aspect of the layout of the restaurant. The knots were fine. Very similar to what you’d expect the Pillsbury crescent rolls to taste like. The pizza was good, but just wasn’t anything special this time around. The crust was the best part in my opinion. I liked its consistency; very soft dough. The toppings were fine, but tasted sort of bland. The pizza wasn’t bad, but didn’t leave the same impression that it did in the past. Our waitress wasn’t super friendly, so we didn’t feel extremely satisfied with the customer service. We probably won’t come back, but I certainly won’t say this restaurant is bad.

Favorite place to grab a Peroni. Lasagna and greek salad are my favorite items on the menu Pizza you can’t go wrong either.

They use the word express in their name but I don’t think they know what that word means. Maybe I’m being rough. I mean, the delivery only took 1 hour 45 minutes. After all, I live nearly 4 miles away so that makes sense. Some might be thinking I should have gone to get it myself, but when you’re entertaining guests one can’t simply leave the house. Needless to say the pizza was cold and unenjoyable. Next time I need pizza, I’ll use a firm pass on these guys

Good pizzas and also a nice place. We bought five pizzas to go and all of them were tasty. They have comedy contests here that I want to attend someday. Bread on pizza was tasty and I must have eaten a whole pizza by myself. More like NY pizza which I prefer and not too heavy like Chicago pizza.

Very good pepperoni pizza with a thin bread like dough. The draft bottoms up beer is great to watch being filled up and the service is fast and very friendly. An awsome experience!

So last night we stopped in at Vito’s for dinner. We had the burratta appetizer — it was pretty good. The caprese skee-cha-ta was wonderful and perfect for us to share. We will be back to try the pizza for sure. Wonderful find in Dublin!

Good pizza one of the hardest things to find over here in Dublin. All the sudden we stumbled onto this little hidden secret. The pizza here is amazing! Just the right amount of crust, with that slightly chewy texture. Not too thick and not too thin! The prosciutto and arugula is to die for! I even left to substitute the arugula for basil, for an amazing kick! The wine selection is top notch, and the beer selection satisfies the need. The amazing atmosphere, relaxed environment and unique fixtures set this restaurant apart from many others in the area. If you’ve given up on good pizza in Dublin, I highly suggest you try Vito Express! by far the best pizza around!

Garlic Knots and Pizza top in the Dublin area bar none. Service is great and you just can’t ask for much more than what Vito’s offers.

The best pizza I’ve ever had. The toppings were fresh and the sauce was authentic. It had incredible flavor and pleasing to my palette. Our waitress delivered great service and the Manager Alison was warm and welcoming. Overall it was a great dining experience! Thank you!

I really like the pizza here. We’re talking delicious gourmet pizzas! It’s one of the only pizza places where I’ll eat the crust! One of my favorites is the Lobster pizza. It’s creamy and buttery and lobstery goodness! The Prosciutto and Arugula pizza is yummers too! A lot of the pizzas are kind of simple, but you can always add a topping! However, I added caramelized onions once but I honestly thought they forgot it. That was until one of my last slices and I found a strand of onion… To the restaurant: If I can’t see a topping, and I can’t taste a topping, then it’s equivalent to it not existing. I feel like I paid extra for nothing. Also, if the pizzas were a couple dollars cheaper, I could & would eat it more often.

I went for the Cannoli. A little pricey, but the closest thing to back home that I’ve had out here in a dozen years.

If you didn’t want my business, you could’ve at least told me nicely… Service took this place(my previous«in-town» Go-To for thin crust) & forced me to take my business elsewhere… Gave them(3) additional shots for redemption, though each time, service has gotten progressively worse… Regardless of how busy they are, there’s always a skeleton crew on-hand(seemingly incapable of multitasking) forcing you to wait for a table, wait for a menu, wait for the order &(if lucky), wait for a drink refill… My last visit was definitely the last straw… Simple order, 1 Large Cheese pizza, 1 caesar salad &2 orders of garlic knots… 15 minutes pass & out comes my salad… 15 additional minutes lapse &STILL no garlic knots… I stopped the server as she was walking past, to check status on our order & her response was, «Sometimes the knots take as long as the pizza to come out…» Really? Well, this«sometimes» was the only time this has happened to us & we’ve been here MANY times(thought it, but didn’t say it…) 15 minutes later, out comes our knots(though most of them BURNT), along with our pizza… So much for an appetizer… Not once did the server stop to ask how we were doing nor refill our drinks. I noticed another table couldn’t wait playing«Where’s Waldo» for their server to return as well & reached over the counter to refill their own sodas at the fountain! I took the opportune moment to snap a pic of my empty, ice-filled glass to document my experience & keep as a reminder for why this will now be my final trip to Vito’s… Very unfortunate as well considering the pizza’s are quite good(particularly my fave, the Pollo Alla Panna). Garlic knots are usually on point, though(insult to injury), BURNT today, etc… I’ve taken friends & family here though & have had the most luck with service during extreme off-peak hours… If you walk through the door & see«Standing Room Only» however, then may God have mercy on your soul… 5 Stars for the pizza & the knots(which are usually consistent) & subtract 3 from my original review for the service… 3 Stars deducted; one for each of the opportunities I’ve given them to make things right… Very disappointed…

This place was alright. The service wasn’t as good as everyone seems to be saying. Our waitress only came to the table to get our orders, bring beer, and to give us boxes for the leftovers. We could see her socializing with all the other tables or lounging at the bar. It’s too bad because we spent a lot of money at this place and the service was not up to par. As for the food, the pizza was standard. Nothing out of this world. We ordered 2 larges: one prosciutto and arugula and one combo. If they really wanted to make the prosciutto and arugula amazing, they could add chunks of buffalo mozzarella. There was also an ant on one of our pizzas. Not sure how it got there… But it literally crawled off the pizza the moment it got set down at our table.
