I actually really love this store, but this rating is for the experience I had last night, not an overall rating. There was a kid, lying on the floor, reading directly in the aisle I wanted to be in. I was floored(haha?) that everyone was just pretending he didn’t exist. No one seemed to care! He was there the whole time I was shopping around(although the only aisle Im interested in was the graphic novels, and he was laying in front of them). Im just still confused that I even experienced that.

Why can’t they just give their customers a decent price without forcing us to buy a discount card? Every time I make a purchase I have to listen to the«if you buy a discount card» speech. Then they hit you up for a so called free magazine subscription. Finally, to add insult to injury, they always hit me up for one of their charities, I give time and money to the charities of my choice, I don’t need/deserve a guilt trip from Books A Million. The anxiety build up prior to checking out just isn’t worth it, I guess I’ll stick with Amazon.
