Grabbed a breakfast wrap for a layover while at the airport. I got the florentine breakfast wrap. The food came extremely soggy with liquid seeping through the wrapper. Will probably be going to Starbucks for food on my layovers now.

Had breakfast here on a layover after a redeye, so everything should be taken with a grain of salt. Tried the breakfast sandwich and wasn’t disappointed. Only strange thing was that the«bagel» was sweet and had raisins in it, even though the sandwich was savory. Sort of a weird combination. Big issue here was service. The guy at the cash register just couldn’t get it going at 07:30 in the morning. Took him almost ten minutes to go through the customer after me, creating a long line. Could be a big issue if I had a shorter connection.

This place as very good considering that is is airport food. I went a little off the beaten path away from my terminal because I had a long-ish layover and the name sounded like they may have some ethnic food. I got the coconut curry bowl with tofu which came with a piece of flat bread. Nothing to right how about but more better than most airport food purchases and the price was about $ 10 for the meal. Huge portions so this lasted me two meals, at least. Highly recommend if you’re in terminal A or B at IAD.

Second stop at Cosi. I fly in and out of this terminal regularly. Only come here because the Firkin Fox was on a wait. Cosi is understaffed. We had hoped to have more drinks while we waited for our flight, but the one employee(waiter/bartender/owner?) couldn’t keep up with the number of people.

Three stars because the food is good I would give it zero stars for service as they’re not very accommodating or friendly I get the BM T sandwich which is basil, mozzarella and tomato on a flatbread. It’s pretty long like 6 inches and they used to have the plastic knives available but now you have to ask for one and they don’t cut it for you Almost every single time I’ve got that all of the dressing is clumped in one place and I need the knife to spread it and I also like to cut it in half.

Never heard of this place so had nothing to compare it to. I ordered the half Smart Fit salad and half Cosi Club, both were pretty good and I felt full. I usually eat decent sized meals and had just got off a 4 hr flight so was pretty hungry. Can’t comment about the wait cause I was the only customer in line so it took like 3 minutes to get my food. The eat-in area is kinda small but they have tv and plug-in areas so that was nice. I’d definitely eat here again if I came back to this terminal. Only reason didn’t give 5 stars is cause it wasn’t amazing, but I have no complaints.

Forgot to make our pizza, tried to get a beer, no one to operate the taps. After waiting 20 minutes they tells us, we didn’t make your order show me your receipt. We did, they the microwave our pizza, I brought it back and he tries to tell me it was baked in the oven. I had it run through again, he apologized and we went in the et our pizza. Next time I will eat at the British pub across the hallway.

Bad service. They are just reluctant to talk to customers. Please improve your service. I walked all the way 10min one way wish to get their salad menu(which I saw on their website) until I get there and it is not served in the morning with an attitude. Bummer

It’s the only thing for breakfast in this wing of Dulles Airport. I can’t tell you what was in the wrap that I had because it was so not memorable!

Of the 10 types of bagels on the menu, they only had two(poppyseed and asiago cheese) available at 8:45 am, which was disappointing.

No. Just no. Walk by. This is the s l o w e s t service known to mankind. I work at the airport and when I needed something quick to eat, I’ve stopped by a couple times to grab a cup of tomato soup, which is tasty(hence the one star rating). But after my experience today, I refuse to eat there again. I ordered tomato soup and whole grain bread. I waited patiently while 6 people who came after me received their salads and sandwiches. After ten minutes of waiting the cashier asked me «what did you order again???» Ugh. I don’t mind waiting, and I’m pretty forgiving. However the staff didn’t apologize for the oversight. Also, they got my order wrong! My colleague ordered a sandwich and a side of carrots. She opened the carrots and they were moldy. No Bueno.

Located in the airport terminal. Decided to give a try because menu items appeared cheaper than the shop across the terminal way. There are essentially two lines. The counter and the sit down table side. I had time and sat down. The woman at the bar was helpful friendly and prompt. I was provided a menu. I made my decision quick to make sure I didn’t miss my plane. Food came out fairly prompt. I ordered a Cosi TBM sandwich and a Yuenhling Beer. Beer was good. Nothing exceptional. Sandwich came out quick. I ordered the cold version. Chicken vinaigrette and selection of fresh vegetables. Served with premade kettle chips. The sandwich was good. No complaints nothing spectacular. Just wish I ordered the warm version of the sandwich. I would come back. Taste and execution were not bad for being at the airport.

Had the chicken tbm sandwich. Everything was very fresh, chicken cooked perfectly & moist, fresh mozz & basil, delicious flat bun… however, the«cosi vinaigrette» is just a creamy horseradish. Thinking this was a more Italian sandwich, I figured it would be a balsamic or vinegar dressing of some sort. Bit in and got a mouthful of horseradish. So not what I was expecting, no warning of the horseradish on the menu, and for 11 $(with a drink) I had to rip half the bun off just to eat it before my flight. I would eat there again, but next time I’ll ask exactly what the«vinaigrette» is.

I needed a quick bite before I had to get on my plane and cosi was the only choice out of the A1−6 terminal. I ordered the margarita pizza. It was disgusting. The tomato sauce was tasteless and the cheese barely melted. The basil was not distributed and in clumps. It was a waste of my money but I’m happy it filled my stomach.

Cosi is one of the few restaurant options in the Dulles Airport Terminal A Gates 1 – 6 area. I saw billboards of new restaurants opening up Winter 2015, but until then you are limited to Cosi and Firkin & Fox. I think Cosi is the best option if you’re looking for something quick on the go or something that you can take on the plane with you. I ordered the Adobo Chicken with Avocado Bowl. They are very efficient and my order came out within 5 minutes despite the restaurant being seemingly swamped with customers. The meal itself was good. $ 10 is quite reasonable for airport food. The portions are generous and even I was stuffed, being the big-eater that I am. I’m not a huge fan of their flatbread that accompanies each order, but I guess it’s a good filler. The Adobe Chicken was nicely seasoned, with a bit of spice that I enjoyed. It was also accompanied with a generous amount of roasted veggies(zuchini, onions), pico de gallo and avocado. It’s filling and healthy enough that you won’t feel horrible about yourself afterwards.

I was super hungry while waiting for my flight. I’ve had a sandwich here before(turkey with melted brie) and it was good. I wanted to try their flat bread pizza since they have an oven here where they are always making bread, which comes out sizzling. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza and although it was tasty, I was hoping the bread was less bread like and more crust like. Still, I ate it all and it was OK for airport food.

In the grand scheme of things, this Cosi is an average example. With fast food options in airports, I don’t really have some crazy expectations of what there should be. However, this Cosi has absolutely nowhere to sit. I understand a lot of people take food to-go for the plane or for the gate, but there are no options to sit down at a table and eat your sandwich or salad. Even a Subway would have that. I ate breakfast here one morning, and at least there are four different breakfast options than the normal McDonald’s Egg McMuffin. The food was pretty good, but it’s just fast food. Service was fast enough.
