What a find! 45 beers on tap and many of them local craft beers. A great way to sample a number of different brews. If you order a flight, they bring you a paddle and pen and you write down what you want. The food is well priced and good quality. Service is quick and friendly.

Awesome beer selection! Great double IPA by Bent Paddle Brewery. Great burgers and fries too! Highly recommend on a summer cruise down Superior St.

great cheese curds, good beer election, yummy burgers and the staff was on point! The location makes this a great and easy place to pop into. We will check it out again on our next trip.

This restaurant is exactly what me and a group of co-​workers were looking for. The drink selection was good, menu was tasty and the service was friendly. I would no doubt return again.

Tried a sample at BURGER WARS 2013, and it had me hooked.

My jalapeño popper burger was good. The buffalo burger wasn’t as flavorful. Better than your average sports bar & with reasonable prices. A local took us here & seems like a local favorite.

Really nice selection of high end craft brews. They have several local brews, as well as brews from other establishments. They also had a bunch of Russian Imperial Stouts on tap, as well as Bourbon County. Service was quick even though the waitress was the only one serving people. It looks like a lot of the regulars get the fried/​seasoned chips, but I wasn’t feeling it.

My husband and I stopped stopped here on an impromptu trip up for the weekend. It was a Friday night but the bar was not that full. We chose this spot because they had a wide variety of tap options. I had an Insight Doe Eyes made with Door County Cherries and it has since gone down as one of my favorites. The cherry flavor was tart and natural — nothing artificial about it. We felt welcomed even though we aren’t regulars. Newcomers must stop by in often.
I also had a wonderful converation with a local who told me to try to rueben. We had just eaten dinner so we didn’t order anything but I can say his looked outstanding. I would come back to try to food and a few more beer selections. Decent prices, plenty of parking, great spot!

Went here for dinner during a work trip. Very surprised with how good the food was. Not sure why but the location made me believe it wouldn’t be as good. Great burgers and excellent selection of beers!

Yesssssss!!! The beer and service was great! We did not eat here — but quite possibly will next time we visit. So many delicious taps. Calling us regulars may be an understatement at this point. They have an impressive tap list and never fail to have a quirky and/​or ridiculous burger of the month as a special. The burgers are inventive and satisfying, especially for the price point. The tacos are also a great lighter option. Get a side salad with whatever you order– it is sizable and is a nice alternative to fries or cheese curds.
Sit at the bar for friendly and expedient service, as their table service most definitely leaves something to be desired. Don’t forget to join the rewards program if you’re around on a somewhat regular basis!

Loved the Carnitas tacos and the Reuben burger. Also tried the grand Marais Belgian. Great inexpensive eatery!

This place was so good the first night that we had to go back the next night. The burgers are delicious. You can get one with tater tot hotdish on it! It sounds weird, but very good. Their fries and chips are homemade and so yummy. Also, try the cheese curds with the taphouse sauce. We will be back!

Awesome selection of beers on tap and great burgers. Not much more that you could ask for in a place like this. The weather in the summer here is conducive to tasting the long list of beers. And for those seeking old memories, you can get a Grain Belt or a Hamms. «Hamms the beer refreshing, Hamms».

We happened upon 7 West TapHouse for Monday Night Flights. The place has kind of a dive bar feel but had a ton of beers on tap for your connoisseur (by a ton I mean over 40, many local and craft).
Since we were in Duluth on a Monday and Tuesday, a few of the local breweries were closed during our stay. 7 West TapHouse stepped in to fill the void by offering lots of local beers I knew we wouldn’t otherwise get to try. We enjoyed a couple flights featuring beers from Voyageur, Bent Paddle, Lakefront, Indeed, Lake Superior Brewing and Door County Brewing — and we didn’t even make a dent in the draft list. My favorites were the Pastorial (a saison from Door County), Trailbreaker (a Belgian Wheat from Voyageur), and Sir Duluth (an Oatmeal Stout from Lake Superior).
I can’t speak for the food because all we had were the cheese curds. Service was a little slow, especially considering it wasn’t that busy when we arrived. My 4 stars is based solely on our brief visit and beer selection. But based on that alone I would return.

The beer listing is amazing! Best variety around the Twin Ports area when it comes to craft brews. Burgers are quality, have the option if a veggie patty for vegetarians. My only gripe is there isn’t a place for a toddler or infant if you try to come in with the whole family… we wound up putting the car seat with my nephew up on the table.

I think they’ve got a great craft beer selection and decent prices, but the burgers lacked the flavor I had hoped for with the multitude of topping options available. It’s also pretty small and cramped inside, which made it tough for even a group of 6 dudes to grab some hair of the dog and grub the morning/​afternoon after a bachelor party.
I had the taphouse burger, which the waitress described as having a thousand island type sauce and jalapeño beer cheese. It’s a double burger with sautéed onions, but came with more of a Bleu cheese like concoction. I didn’t think her description quite hit the mark. I feel like the problem isn’t necessarily the preparation, but the quality of the beef. It’s like overcooked under-​seasoned gray blah that really had no taste to it. The others in my group had the same underwhelmed response to the beef. Not sure what the solution is there.
I’ll give them another shot, if only to have another crack at those cheese curds!

I really enjoy going to 7west every time I am in Duluth! Great beer selection, simple menu with wide variety of burgers, good service, and a nice location!
I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The only thing I did not like was there isn’t really a space to wait and the place isn’t too big so if you are waiting for a table you are in an awkward space between the door and tables. Also, when we entered none of the servers greeted us or told us we would have to wait so we just stood around until a table cleared.
Good long beer list with many craft brews, especially from around the Twin Ports area. I have had a few of their burgers but my favorite is the Philly. They have a good variety of burgers and a couple that are not your «average» toppings. We usually get fries on the side and they have a whole list of seasonings you can put on them.
The food usually comes out pretty quickly. The whole experience is very easy and quick. I would definitely recommend for a casual night out! They also have TVs so if you want to watch sports it is a good place to gather.

The design of this place was very modern and hip. But the burgers did need a little work. There was nothing really special about the burger that I ordered and the frys were very salty+soggy.
