This place is one of the best or Indian food in Atlanta. The paneer was absolutely phenomenal and the owner as well as the employees were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The ambience and décor are as good as the food. Would definitely recommend trying it out!

This restaurant was a great find in Johns Creek! Nice ambience and one of the best paneer butter masalas!

Food was excellent the first time and just OK on my next visit. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala both times.

Nice inside. We had buffet there before for lunch and really enjoyed it. Decided to try dinner and the food was not too good. Chicken was over cooked so not sure if it was left over food from their lunch buffet. Gobi was sub par as well. Worst of all we saw black mold on the bottom of the caps to the water bottle they serve you. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Décor is great, and great concept. But food needs work. Not a bad place, but they need to rethink their pricing structure if they want to survive. Far too many places in Alpharetta/Johns Creek that offer better value.

Nice décor inside! There’s half of a rickshaw at the front desk, which is fun to take pics with the family and kids. MVP– mirchi virchi pani puri — YUM! Samosa had a great filling, very flavorful! Masala fries in kids order — so ask for plain fries if your kids don’t like it. Pulaou rice was pretty good. Paneer was cooked perfectly. Garlic naan was pretty good too. Overall a nice place to eat with a friendly staff.

Different desi restaurant, not just the interiors but the food too !! We’re there for Saturday buffet and were very satisfied with food, service and the ambience. Things to taste: soup of the day, salad bar, appetizers and the cocktails !!

Decided to give this a try via scoutmob and after hearing about it thru classmates. Decent place for indian food. Owner seemed accommodating at first as he was willing to explain the food and the different combinations. Ordered puri, chicken tika marsla, goat marsla and a combo plate. The puri was good. fitting for several people to share. The chicken tika marsla was great. Flavourful and the bread was amazing. Goat was too spicy for my liking. I only had a few bites and had to stop. Staff was very accommodating. Only complaint is that the owner seemed a little displeased after showing the scoutmob discount. It seemed a little odd since the coupon only brings in more customers. Overall, its a good place to eat indian food at. I’d come back.

This is a new Indian restaurant recently opened in the Regal Cinemas shopping center. The décor resembles that of Mumbai. The prices are on the higher end but pretty reasonable for the area. The food was pretty good as well. One of the dishes wasn’t done as well as we’d like and the manager was extremely accommodating. The flavors were overall nice. Great service, I hope they do well. Support small businesses.

We wandered in on a Saturday at 2:30pm due to a $ 8.99 lunch buffet sign. We were originally intending to eat at the Thai place next door. The waitress seemed inviting and the manager/owner comes to us to show us the buffet line. However, neither made any mention that the buffet was going to cut off at 3pm or that they would be rushing us to get what we wanted so they could pull the items off the buffet. We got suckered in by their sales pitch. Once we sat down and got the first plate, we were committed. We ordered ice water with lemon and there was no silverware or ice water even when we got back from the buffet line. There were only 3 other tables so there was no crowd. And when we got the check, we get socked for $ 11.99 when the outside sign brightly states $ 8.99. I bring up the issue and they say that it is only weekdays but, of course, no price listed anywhere for the«weekend rate». The manager/owner says it says it on the sign except it is a tiny font that cannot be seen from the street. You have to get on top of that sign to be able to read it. When I bring up all these bad-experience strikes, he gives me an odd look and trying to justify himself. If we knew we were going to be rushed, we would have not eaten there at any price. But the slow and poor service and the«gotcha» pricing with no warning was all too much to overlook. Not to mention the buffet food was near the end. Never go to a buffet near the ending time because you only get the leftovers and scraps. We thought the manager might make some small efforts to make it right. He did nothing. We told him we would pay the ticket but would not come back. I do not support restaurants that practice«gotcha» pricing and nondisclosure practices. He could have made it right but he didn’t try and we weren’t going to beg. So hence the 2-star review. The food was okay and they get one-for it. This restaurant is untrustworthy in my opinion. My girlfriend wasn’t going to leave a tip because she was unhappy but I didn’t want to stiff the waitress entirely even though we thought she was clearly inexperienced and not very good. We didn’t make a scene and just left vowing never to come back again. But more importantly, warning others. The restaurant has poor sound-proofing and will likely be unusually loud if this place gets crowded. This business has reminded us to always be vigilant and ask clearly when it comes to pricing, times, schedules, etc. Last thing, the manager/owner said the restaurant has been around for 7-months and the buffet option was to increase traffic. Reading between the lines, it sounds like to me this business will not around for too much longer. I believe they are desperate for dollars. They could have been gracious and honored the advertised price and we would have overlooked all the other shortcomings. But they seemed determined to stick to their position, not matter what. Well, we paid as they wanted and now this very honest 2-star review exists. Stay away, very untrustworthy, and they are quite dense in the area of customer relations.

Okay food, uneven taste and quality, service was Not good– was busy that Saturday night so we could only get seating at the bar, our waitress was completely inattentive she took our order but then we didn’t see her until the bill came, other servers/busers dropped off our food, plus they tried to add a $ 30 bottle of wine to our bill and we caught it before we paid. small dishes so sort of like tapas so you have to watch cuz it can get expensive for what it is. $$/4 pricewise, wacky colorful décor, doesn’t really look Indian more like mariachi Mexican with tin countertop and carved trim everywhere. Strange. Had the veg samosa– dry, tava paneer-good, paprika chaat-ok, saag paneer-good, aloo keema-good, wine cost was ok and in line with other places. Would sort of recommend if you’re in the mood in the area, great for before after movie dining place, however we will probably not go again because the food and service wasn’t that great for us.

Good concept but below average food. Out of several things we tried here — paneer kathi roll, veg biryani, tava paneer, paneer tikka masala, baingan bharta, and some desserts — tava planner and veg biryani were the only thing that were okay; everything else was way below average. No point in trying this place if you’re craving for good food. I don’t think I am ever going back there again, unless someone tells me that they changed their chef.

I’ve visited this establishment plenty of times and it was average at best. Recently, it has gone down hill and will probably shut down soon. Today I picked up 2 biryanis and they were both terrible. The chicken was visibly old, burned and dark. I called Sameer the manager and he denied me a refund. Not only did he deny me a refund, he asked for a picture of the food. Who does that? I’ll tell you who, someone who can’t afford to give a refund. Steer clear of this place! Check out some of their other reviews:

Being just up the street, we decided to give it a try via Scoutmob. The app did exactly what the owner would hope for = bring in new customers and make them regulars. It has an open airy feel, with flavors of India in art form and smells. Simple too which makes it fun. The moment we walked in we were met by our waitress who was helpful the whole time there. The food was thankfully hot with flavor, the naan thin and delicious and both dry and sauce dinners were great! The owner, Ray, came by and educated us to what he and his wife had in mind for the place. I recommend Mirchi Virchi to anyone for a casual night or lunch out. And you will learn a little about India while you’re there. We’ll be back!

I’m no Indian food connoisseur but this place satisfied me. The prices for lunch were very reasonable. There was a whole selection of entrees from $ 7 – 9! For lunch, I got the Goti 65, garlic naan, and the chicken biryani. I would like to say for a girl of my stature I have an abnormally large appetite, and there was no way I could have finished all my food. The portions were huge! I wish the naan was more garlicky and that there was more sauce on my chicken biryani(it was a tad dry). Other than that, the restaurant was large and spacious, the food came out quick, and the prices were reasonable. It wasn’t out of this world delicious, but it’s location, prices, quantity, and décor make it a 4 out of 5 star restaurant.

This is a great local spot for my girlfriend and I, we come here all the time and have yet to have anything other than a good experience. Our go to is the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. It’s been great every time and it’s big enough to split depending on how hungry you are. The atmosphere is warm and fun, and it’s a very clean restaurant, service is always good, if you’re new to Indian cuisine the staff will answer any questions you have about the menu. Love this place!

I love this place. I can sit at the bar, watch a Braves game AND get great Indian food? What else do you need? Nice people? Done! Good location? Done! ScoutMobs & Groupons? Yep. Do I really need to keep going? Eat here, already…

The décor of the place is awesome. Bright colors and awesome murals on the walls. Modern music that’s not too loud, but loud enough for you to identify when it’s «Beat It» by Michael Jackson and sing along to yourself at your table. Just kidding. I didn’t really do this.(I did) I had the Lamb Boti and holy crap it was awesome. My only complaint is that there wasn’t more of it. Service was good and I can’t really think of a single thing to complain about. Honestly, it doesn’t feel like you’re at a typical Indian restaurant and that’s a good thing. Because typical is boring. And this place is definitely not boring.

Ordered lamb chops and it was burned to Crisp. Proteins being that burned and came out to guest to serve is just crazy. And water glass was dirty.
