I love this place the first moment I walked in. We had a really waitress I can remember her name but I will defiantly update it when I find out. My boyfriend and I was hesitant about this place because of the food served in bags but boy was we wrong. It is really a good way to keep all the season on all of your seafood and to keep it warm for the first few minutes. The seasoning is at the bottom and is so good when u shake it up. We had the Cajun very hot season on our legs and on our crawfish we had to try all season they had on menu which was Lemon pepper, Cajun and garlic butter. Yum yum my new favorite seafood place. They got pappadeaux beat

So far it’s my fav crawfish place in Metro Atlanta area. Like the name, the crawfish is so juicy, tasty and fresh. Way better than bayou boil and boiling crawfish on the Buford hwy. One thing we don’t like is that the server didn’t know how to spilt check based on what we ordered…

This place is one of best boiling Seafood restaurant in this area. The raw oyster I had were fantastic. I wish I had more details on where they were from. not overly salty. I’ll happily go back for more.

The best crawfish boil experiences I had were in California @ the Boiling Crab, Kickin’ Crab, and Hot N Juicy. So when I check out a new crawfish place, I usually have high expectations for spice levels and flavor. I usually go to Lawrenceville Seafood for my crawfish fix in the Atlanta area. The aura here at the Juicy Crab def feels like you’re in another place, not Duluth. I ordered 2lbs of crawfish and 1lb of snow crab in their medium«juicy seasoning.» I also ordered 3 corns and half a pound of sausage because the server told me it wasn’t included. But she lied, I ended up having 5 corns, 1 potato, and half a pound to myself. WAY too much for a small person like me. The seasoning was too buttery and oily for me. It seems like they just dumped a bunch of chili peppers and poured the buttery oil on top so all the spices were at the bottom of the bag. Medium wasn’t spicy at all for me. The crawfish and sausages should have been doused with the flavor and spices. I had to dip the sauce to even get a taste. Overall, it offered a hint of flavor that the Lawrenceville Seafood lacked for me. The server kept saying«honey» after every sentence. She also forgot 2⁄5 people’s order because SHE forgot that she wrote the rest of the order on a separate sheet. What really made the 2 stars on this review is that she tried to blame it on the chef. But a lightbulb must have went off in her head when we reminded her that she wrote it down on a separate piece of paper. After that ordeal, my friend just canceled her order because we were halfway done with our food by that time. Go, if you’ve never had a good crawfish boil. I’m planning on giving Blazin’ Cajun and this other place a try. I’ll come back and give an updated review.

First time being here. It was great service ! Our Order came out quick and the staff was very attentive and polite. Food was delicious! I’ve had fresh food from the coast(like literally eating on the water where they catch it) and man this Place nailed it. Joes has nothing on this. 5 stars and we will be back.

Service was extremely slow; servers were nice but it seemed like they were understaffed. Food took forever to come out. Good luck getting anything refilled. Prices are decent. Flavors were just ok on our 1st visit so I doubt that we’ll be back. We tried snow crab legs, crawfish, and clams all with the juicy special sauce(supposed to be a combination of garlic butter, lemon pepper, & cajun but we couldn’t pick up any of those flavors unfortunately) — everything tasted pretty bland with a hint of chili pepper only because we chose spicy level: hot. Located where 99 Sushi & Hot Pot used to be. Shared parking lot with Toys R Us. There are plenty of tables just not enough servers.

I’ve never been intimidated by the price of food, if it’s good I’ll pay for it. But looking at their price menu got me taken aback a little. $ 20 for a pound of lobster just didn’t sit well when I can easily get them at HMART for $ 6.99 lb. and cook it the way I like it… yes, I get it, I’m paying for the service blah blah blah… it’s outrageous tho. How about $ 9 for a pound of blue crabs and that’s about 1 ½ blue crab for ya… So we opted for a basket of fried oysters just to get a taste of the food. Honestly the fried oyster were delicious! But it took about an hour… Not feeling this place…

My wife and I went here for dinner on Friday night. We ordered wine and beer and a dozen oysters. When the drinks arrived we ordered 2 entrees of bag seafood, 1 order of fried oysters and one order of fried shrimp. The oysters arrived 10 minutes or so later and they were large and delicious. That’s when everything went south. Not enough crackers with the oysters. Waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come back to no avail. So got up and caught her coming out of the kitchen to get more. Sat and sat. 1 hour after ordering, the 2 bags of seafood came out. They were good enough, but an hour? We needed more wine, butter, and cocktail sauce. 15 minutes pass. Went to the bar to get the wine. Another 10 minutes pass and the fried shrimp arrives. The other 2 people were already done eating. We had thought that they just forgot. Oysters never came. We couldn’t ask where our other food was because the waitress never came back. Not once. Ok so to offer some advice to the restaraunt. Have to get faster obviously, but food needs to come out at the same time to a table, or at least close. Waitstaff has got to check in on tables more closely, especially after dropping food. They were nice enough to cut some wine, the shrimp, and obviously the oysters from the bill, but gotta get better.

Oh how my mouth waters every time I think about this place! Seafood/Crab was very delicious! The taste totally different with other seafood restaurant! This’s reason I keep coming to this place! And there are also have same drinks/Beers/white wine/red wine ! So u can surely get a delicious meal here for a reasonable price, and the wait staff is excellent so helpful if u don’t know what u are in for. I totally recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Man oh man! I heard about this place from other Unilocalers and decided to give ‘em a try. I loooooooove seafood and The Juicy Crab did not disappoint. We ordered a little of everything: wings, the shrimp basket with fries, and a couple of orders of snow crab legs served with juicy seasoning(I think that’s what it’s called). The crab legs were served in a plastic bag with some sorta buttery, garlicky, spicy sauce that will make you slap yo’ mama! It was so goooood. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection! My only complaint was the wait was pretty long to get our food after placing our order, but again, the food was so good by the time it arrived, we were no longer bothered by the long wait. All you heard and saw was smacking, grunting and people licking their fingers at our table. If the wait wasn’t so long I’d give them 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for good seafood!

This place just opened. They’re delicious! We ordered the mussels with lemon pepper and garlic butter mild. I think they added Cajun spices too because it came out quite hot. Still, I have a low tolerance for spiciness, and I enjoyed them. The mussels were big and juicy and cooked just the right amount. They’re relatively casual with styrofoam plates and buckets to toss the shells in. The mussels came to the table in a plastic bag. The prices match this. The décor has a typical Cajun feel plus color-changing lights. The staff is friendly and eager.

I think this place just open up about 1 – 2 weeks now. This place used to be Fishermen Bucked, which they closed down and I was pretty sad. I came here to see how well they cooked their stuff and was hoping it was own by the same owner or not, but sadly it was but it was still good. This place is really big and it’s great for a big group of people to come and eat. Most of the seafood is Market price so each day is different! They will let you know what are the price for that day. Someday could be cheaper and some isn’t. All of our orders was cooked in the Juicy Sauce! The sauce has butter, Cajun spice, garlic and I thinks there’s something else but it’s pretty good. Oh yes the craw fish is is fresh, not frozen! That’s one thing I love about this place. I hate going to places that cooked me frozen crawfish even when crawfish season is over. I would come back here again to eat with my friends or family. We order the Fried calamari and it was $ 10. The calamari was pretty big and crispy. The only problem was it was kind of greasy but maybe it will be better next time I come here.
The raw is oyster was $ 9 for half dozen which it was pretty big. It was ok, I wish it was Maine oyster which would be sweeter. We order the blue crab and it was $ 9 a lb for it. Blue grab was pretty good in the Juicy Sauce. Full of flavor and mixed of all the spices. Best time to eat blue crab would be summer rather than winter bc the meats is less in the summer. Snow crab was about $ 16 a lb on the Market price. It tasted like every snow crab which I didn’t care so much for. The juicy sauce worked wonder with the snow crab I got to admit. Full of flavor and the better that was mixed with the spices was on point! Shrimp with the head on was about $ 14 a lb market price, this was cheaper with than the shrimps with out head. I think the shrimps without head was $ 16 a lb. It wasn’t worth paying that extra $ 2 and the head keep the shrimps flavor!

This seafood restaurant opened in the exact spot where 99 Café Sushi & Hotpot used to be; it is next to America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses on Pleasant Hill. My bf and I had dinner here approximately 4 days after it opened, hoping to try a new crawfish place. We order 1 lb of crawfish made with the hot Juicy Special sauce($ 9/lb), 2 lbs of baby clams extra hot Juicy Special sauce($ 9/lb), 1 lb of snowcrab legs with hot Juicy Special sauce($ 16/lb), and a fried shrimp basket($ 10). The price is comparable to the other seafood restaurants around the area like Blazin’ Cajun. The beers are cheap at $ 2.75 for a bottle of domestic and $ 3.75 for a bottle of import. If you get a bucket, you’ll save around $ 1.50. I gave them 4 stars because the staff was friendly, we were seated promptly, and the food was decent. I think that if they marinated their seafood a little longer, it might have tasted better. I thought the crawfish was a little bland and the extra hot Juicy Special sauce clams were not spicy enough to be called extra hot. However, the fried shrimp basket was delicious. The Juicy Special sauce concept is similar to Cali’s The Boiling Crab’s The Whole Shabang sauce. It had a garlicky and buttery taste to it. There were plenty of seating — booths, tables, and outside. The table and chairs are nice and clean. They kept the Hotpot tables from the previous restaurant and just put a white heavy duty paper on top of them(resourceful). Overall, I will go back, but it’s not my go-to spot for crawfish and other seafood.

–0 stars… I saw the sign that they were open. So I knew exactly where I was dinning at for dinner.(THISWASTHEWORSEMISTAKE I EVERMADE). I ordered the crawfish seasoned Juicy Special with corn and potatoes, a side of cajun fries. My girlfriend ordered Fried Shrimp Basket with Cajun fries, and for our daughter we ordered her corn on the cob and potatoes. I was expecting the bill to be at least a clean $ 40, but to my surprise everything came to $ 28.09. They have paper table clothes on the tables. The market priced seafood comes in a plastic bag. So you can eat it straight out the bag if you choose. They do provide you with plates and the proper eating utensils. They serve wine, imported and domestic beers. Unfortunately…I don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news. I was so happy to eat here, but the second we walked out of the restaurant my stomach felt queasy. I drove over to the gas station to use the bathroom. Which I thought would serve the trick, but it didn’t. I’ve been throwing up since 10PM last night. I had to call out of work this morning 11÷3÷15. I believe the crawfish was bad from the start or poorly prepared. However, I would never eat at this restaurant again. Luckily my girlfriend and daughter barely touched their food. So we just ended up throwing it away when we got home. They need to focus more so on the food they’re cooking other than the décor.
