The best White Windmill in GA for cozy, quiet studying and tasty treats. I’ve been to all of them and this is my absolute favorite WW. I always drive past much closer ones to go to this particular location. The two women who manage it are very approachable and friendly, while maintaining professionalism. This location isn’t always super quiet, though, which is still another reason I prefer it — it’s predictable. That is, I know which hours to expect a crazy, fun environment from this WW, and which hours to expect peaceful alone time. The other locations(especially Buford Hwy) are just insane. At any given time of day or night. Always overwhelming. The staff there don’t even have time to try to be any of the positive things the two sisters at P’tree Ind. Blvd. are. Additionally, the furniture at this location is to die for! Buford Hwy is full of ungodly hard and uncomfortable wooden seats and benches. Other locations do sometimes have a few of the super comfortable furniture sets, but P’tree Ind. Blvd. is absolutely filled with them. They’re fluffy clouds of happiness. Whether you’re looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat while lounging with some friends and enjoying free wifi, or if you’re cramming for that final exam or rushing to meet that paper deadline, this location is your best bet! Starbucks doesn’t have anything on White Windmill. Good luck studying there!

Their bread selection is small, 70’s music every night, drinks are alright, and you have to make a minimum credit purchase of $ 5. I would just get Green Tea Smoothie if I really wanted to drink something after going to Harue, and then leave right after. BEWARE the rude manager/owner. Make sure you don’t sit around for 30+ minutes before ordering – you will get bitched at with comments such as «This isn’t your home where you can just sit and be comfortable. This is a business. You can’t use our services unless you buy something.» Well, got dam. Why you got to be so dah money hungry. There’s so many coffee shops that are way better than this place anyway. I’m probably not going to this place anytime soon.

There are many competitive Korean Bakery’s in Duluth, GA. Out of all there is only one that serves cream filled custard fish bread and it is incredibly prices at $ 5.59.(10 pieces) White Windmill located on the border of Gwinnett County, on a cold night, this is must goto place. You will not regret it.

I came here to do a little bit of studying after school, and about an hour later, one of the workers, who may have been the manager or owner, came up to me and rudely asked if I was going to buy something. I misheard her and thought she asked if someone came by to buy something because she was temporarily outside. I told her no and she said that«this is a business. You can’t stay here and [study].» So what she actually asked me was if I was going to buy something and when I told her no, she said that I had to. I told her nicely that I was going to look around in a sec, but she continued to enforce me to purchase something. And THEN, I repeated my response and she walked away with frustration. I understand that it’s unethical to use others’ resources without giving any incentive, but her facial expression and tone of voice was not the way to attract/satisfy customers. I WAS considering buying a snack because I thought about the same situation before she came over to my table, but her approach was a bit overboard and she could have settled the situation a little nicer; although, there is not really a peachy way of telling someone to give you your money or leave. After she walked away, I bought a random bun, and the cashier, a different, taller woman, asked, «Just the bun?» I told her yes. After she gave me my change, she ever-so-slightly SCOFFED and made an is-that-it face. What is with these workers and their hostile demeanor? I am no longer visiting this White Windmill. This was my second visit, and my first was not very pleasant either because of the first worker’s rude look towards me. I suggest everyone to visit a different White Windmill. For future customers, be warned.

PREPARETOWAIT! I love White Windmill but today was not a good day. When we entered this location, it was all abuzz with the«out of school» teens. They were EVERYWHERE and the staff seemed pretty overwhelmed. We should have left at this point, but we soldiered on. We were able to easily get access to the counter and place our order, a mango milkshake and the fish cake /cream dessert. While our items were being prepared, we perused the baked goods and chilled in their very low cushioned seats,(poor choice). It is late in the day so our favorite pastries are long gone but it is still apparent that they carry quite a selection of items. My favorite savory treat has been the sausage bread but they have changed it,(by putting the hot dog dead center in the pastry), so that you don’t get a balanced bite. You have to eat your way to the sausage which is ridiculous. I prefer the sliced version where you get a taste of meat and bread in every bite. I usually like their simple pastries with cream cheese or just a cream filling. Today, it took about 15 minutes to get our order because of the rush. The mango shake arrived first and it was cool and refreshing although a little too sweet for my taste. The fish snacks were a disaster because she had entered the wrong information on the receipt, red bean instead of cream. Ewwww! They were overly sweet, overly filled and overly gross! Always check your receipt before you leave the register!

STAYAWAYFROMTHISGARBAGEASSPLACE. I came in around 8PM and it wasnt busy at all with no wait. I ordered 3 orders of the Custard Fish Cake. Each order of a Fish Cake comes in 10 pieces, all 3 orders were burnt, and on top of that the 2 employees(one female and one male) took 2 Fish Cakes from my order and placed it on the side assuming they wanted to eat it for themselves. I received only 28 pieces instead of 30. This is what you call a business? Really? You burnt all 3 of my orders and you still think that is presentable to the customer. ON top of that you didn’t think I noticed there were 2 pieces missing? I was heated and would have cursed the shit out of them but just left and will NEVER come back AGAIN.

I stopped by here for a couple hours on my trip through Atlanta. I tried the lavender milk tea here with tapioca. It was pretty good — good flavor and nice quality of the tapioca. It’s a clean establishment with lots of space for studying, talking, or playing games. If you’re in the area, this is a good spot just to relax and hang out if you’re looking for one.

Interior seating is nice. Staff couldn’t understand that I wanted a simple milk tea with no toppings. And price is overrated. Paid $ 5 for a small bubble tea which was not even cold and the rainbow jelly was disgusting. Not pleased. They told me I can’t seat at the big table because it’s dinner time. Didn’t mind that. But she was rude in how she said it.

Just got my daughters birthday cake from here and I must say this is the most delicious Cake I have ever tasted! The strawberries were very fresh and the whipped icing was awesome, not to sugary like most places. They have definitely earned my business! The price also was fantastic. The macaroons are also very tasty. Thanks! You guys are awesome!

Ricky loves this white windmill location for 4 things. 1. This location is convenient for us. 2. It is always quiet and relaxing 3. They make the cappuccino different here with nutmeg or cinnamon 4. They make my fish cake snack with cream inside perfect every time/honey bread perfect every time. Because of these reasons we always come back once a week at least. Def recommend!

There are so many White Windmills in Atlanta, I thought I had already been to all of them. I always notice this location when eating at Oh My Samgyupsal but I’ve never been in, as I am usually not very hungry after AYCE Korean BBQ. This location seems smaller than most. However these is seating all around three sides of the perimeter. The breads are all located in the middle. I picked up a mocha cream bread, since there weren’t very many options left. At the register, I ordered a latte with skim milk, which they don’t have, so they offered me a soy latte instead. I don’t like how overpowering the taste of soy can be but the latte wasn’t too bad. Overall, my bread and latte came out to be $ 6, which seems a bit pricey to me, but I always found Korean bakeries to cost a bit more than Chinese bakeries.

ME: what’s in the«summer fruit tea»? OWNER: tea… and fruit ME: … what type of fruits? OWNER: fruits Like really? You have a bunch of made-up tea names for your menu and also labeled on your jars up front and expect me, or any customer, for that matter. to know what the heck is in the tea? how retarded. how am I supposed to know what«summer love» or «blue dragon» tastes like? they have ridiculous and non-obvious names for their teas and expect you to roulette your drink. so that’s what I did and that ended up being a mistake. their teas aren’t even high quality to begin with and the one I picked tasted like butt. it was horrible. I don’t even remember the exact name, but that doesn’t matter since I won’t be ordering hot teas from them anymore. I actually never order drinks from any mozarts or white windmill, but this first time experience left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. aside from the pathetic/horrible taste, the portion to price was not reasonable. you pay a steep price for a small cup of hot water and some small filter that holds the tea leaves. which floats above the cup. yeah, I’d rather go get ripped off by teavana… service was horrible. staff are so condescending, not friendly, and rude. this location of «white windmill» is a HELLNO!

This is an adorable coffee shop. It’s Korean owned but the crowd is quite diverse. Located off of Buford Hwy, it’s neighbor is Tower Liquors. Plenty of parking available both in front of the café and around the side and back. Their baked goods are always fresh and plentiful. Huge variety of goods and I actually like their selection better than Sweet Hut. Decorated beautifully, they have a clean open space with plenty of seating for catching up with friends or surfing the internet. Outlets are available along the walls of the café so don’t worry about running low on juice. Their bathrooms are clean and their staff is super friendly. And yes, they all speak English so have no fear. I love this café and have visited often in the past 3 – 4 months. If you haven’t been, be sure to stop by and you won’t be disappointed. My favorite drinks there are the super sweet peach iced tea, iced honey citron tea and any of their«frappuccino» like drinks or bubble tea/smoothies.

I can only give this place 3 stars at best. I give it props for staying open for so long. This WW has been here for at least 7 years. The only reason I come here these days is for coffee. I’m no coffee snob, so I’m not sure if my opinions on coffee can be trusted by fellow Unilocalers. But the house coffee with cream and sugar does the job. Tastes strong, keeps me awake. One time I came to buy bread, and got their fried hot dog donut, and the dough was not throughly cooked, but the outside was well done. Granted it’s not the store’s fault because the bread gets transferred here, I’m still not going to buy it again. And then another time I wanted to buy mocha cream bread and the bread wasn’t delivered yet(it was 12pm already) I pretty much only go here for convenience purposes.

I come here often to study, but this is probably the worst White Windmill in the Atlanta/Duluth area. It has a convenient location, but after you step in here, you quickly realize that this WW is not quite up to par with others. First, their bread selection is very skimpy. Perhaps it’s because they don’t have a lot of customers, so they can’t afford to pre-stock a lot of bread(goes to waste). They have a very poor selection here and run out of stock in various types very quickly. Secondly, their cakes are absolutely untouchable/inedible. Seriously, do not get a cake here, it is really unfresh because they hardly sell any of them and that chocolate cake slice you’re eyeing has probably been sitting there for DAYS. They’ve also resorted to starting to package up those Ferrero Rocher candies into little bags and selling those. Kind of sad. I don’t know if they still do this, but they also used to not take credit card for purchases under $ 5.00, which is ridiculous for a coffee shop.

I haven’t been to the other more popular locations but I actually enjoyed the service and the quieter atmosphere of this location. Also its right next to Oh! my Samgyupsal! So get your AYCEBBQ there and move over here for a palette cleanser with their bingsu. Very clean and friendly.

Was next door having Korean BBQ and after, was craving bubble tea so I came here… The moment I stepped through the door I was greeted. The place is bright and welcoming. There is a bread stand when you walk in with a small variety of breads to choose from. It wasn’t very busy so my taro bubble tea only took a couple of minutes to make. The tea was good, I’ve had better but it was still good. They do have a variety of different flavoured Macarons which was good and were $ 1.99 each. Its a good place to come just to have afternoon tea with friends or family. Although I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Atmosphere: — brightly lit — large tables — well decorated — somewhat loud if crowded, esp with Asians who have no discernment over voice volume Food: — bungeobbang: larger than Café Mozart off Pleasant Hill & more filling = +++ — not too much selection compared to other bakeries but given the size, it’s much better than the one in Johns Creek H-mart plaza.

In agreement with Kristin B, this is not the best White Windmill. It’s convenient for dessert after Oh My Samgyupsal, if you can stomach it. It’s the standard Asian bakery fare like the other White Windmills in GA. i ordered a hot milk tea, but it wasn’t exactly warm and for $ 4 for a small cup, this was really expensive. The tea wasn’t even hot. I know I wasn’t the only one because another friend ordered a green tea milk tea and also claimed it wasn’t hot. I had less than a ½ cup left that my boyfriend insisted on bringing it back to get reheated. I kinda hoped they would refill for the inconvenience, but nothing happened. The tables and chairs by the window are a little awkward. It’s definitely an Ikea table but the chairs are way too wide for them to fit under the table. However, there are some more comfy tables/sofas. It’s kind of a different crowd here. White Windmill typically is flooded with students studying or hanging out with their friends. At this location, surprisingly, it was mostly families or older couples who are doing group date nights. I probably wouldn’t come back to this White Windmill location as it’s out of the way.
