Growing up, I had a negative stigma about Save A Lot. The only one I’d ever gone to looked disgusting and chaotic. I’m glad to say that this Dunedin location shifted my paradigm.
The store is neatly organized and sufficiently clean, with many generic items for a lot of the brand name items you’d usually pick up on a shopping trip. They also accept manufacturer’s coupons, so there’s more than one way to save money here.
The compromise I make by coming to a place like this is that they don’t have a huge variety of products. For me, it works. I do the bulk of my grocery shopping here, then buy any specialty items from somewhere else. Because of this willingness to adapt, my husband and I have shaved quite a bit off of the money we spend on groceries every week.
