Not being from Durango, they really made me feel comfortable and welcomed me and my fiancé with open arms. I highly recommend the John Daly cocktail.

This is one of the most welcoming places my husband and I have ever visited. Great service, great food and wonderful locals to talk to. A must go to place in Durango!

I was really impressed with the level of service I was provided last night. The bartender especially was awesome, he called me by name, asked and checked in on how food and drinks were doing at all the right times. Overall the food was all good. We had the shrimp basket and also the balcony burger/​melt and it was very tasty. Tator tots were also a must! It’s not a huge bar or place but it has plenty of space along with pool table, and several other games which make this place enjoyable. Will come back again for sure!

We go every time we visit. Great atmosphere music and beer! The bbq nachos are awesome! It’s really nice to sit outside and enjoy sunshine and great company while looking over downtown.

We really enjoyed this place. Food price is very fair. I bought the large dinner salad for $ 6.95. Great quality lettuce and how is that not a fair price? I also had the BBQ burger with fries. $ 8.95. So the other reviewer complaining about price must dine mostly at McDonalds. Staff was very friendly and this place was full the entire time. A lot of locals eating here also. Another very good sign. Sitting outside on a roof, nice view with live music and great food, what’s not to like? We’d absolutely come back again. Loved this gem in downtown Durango! Great spot to grab a drink and overlook the downtown Durango scene. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. For food: I got two tacos, the chicken and pulled pork for $ 3.50/taco = YUM! Highly recommend the chicken tack, it was DELISH for bar food which was a pleasant surprise. There was a little Jam band that played here, we only stayed for a few mins during it but it was a cool scene all around.
FYI: No happy hour during the weekend.

This place is great. We went on a cold and rainy day in March and loved it. The staff is awesome and offered a lot of great suggestions for drinks and places to go. We will go back for sure for the service and the Hussong’ tequila.
By the way… thanks for the green chili recipe.

First place we stopped on our first time in Durango. Great beginning. My favorite beer was just being delivered so second time around it was available. Live bands were excellent and really added to the ambiance of downtown.

This is all about the tacos for me. We went with blackened catfish, smoked chicken, and grilled shrimp. Each one were a hit. At 3.25 a pop they are about the same price as any other place you can buy tacos individually. Very casusl setting too and you cant beat the view.

Very causal eatery. Great view of main if you sit at the rail. But when we went it was to sunny to sit there. Great vibe for lunch and pretty cheap for main street. Seems like it is a local hang out, with live music every night.

Goal!!! We were up visiting Durango during the USA run in the FIFA world cup. Deciding to go up to the balcony bar before heading back, we were shocked to see how packed this place was. USA scored, everyone cheered and the band proceeded to play. The bartenders were great even though they were slammed. The band was great and the atmosphere was killer. I will come back here when we return to Durango.

We did not eat here, just came up for drinks, but it is an awesome place to sit outside and people watch. Right downtown, super cool location. Staff was nice, greeted us right away. Very friendly. Will go here again for sure.

They’ve made the balcony much more spacious for the locals and tourists to mingle about! This has always been a catch with the live music but the drink selection has really improved. Great ambiance overlooking downtown Durango, plenty of umbrellas for shade. Looking for a day drinking spot in Durango… this is it!

This place possibly has one of the best roof top patios in Durango. Overlooks the beautiful Downtown Durango and when all the plants are potted up this is the place to be.
The crowd is eclectic, not just the college crowd, everyone comes here. With that said I think the drinks and the patio are the things that bring you back here. Food is typical fried bar food, nothing special and certainly nothing that screams, must have now.
My crandberry and vodka was solid, not the best pour I’ve ever had but certainly fine and the BF had a cold beer on draft.
Worth a visit and would work well for groups on the patio. It’s very sunny but they have quite a few umbrellas to offer some shade.

Nice place, about 84 degrees. Misters feel good patio has shady umbrellas. Have a Mandarin Mambo to cool off
