This might be the most low life, prejudice, conservative, and ready to fight cowboy bar, I have ever been too. The bouncers are really fired up to fight. I payed there expensive coverage charged and bought an expensive budlight and was asked to leave after one beer. I’m pretty sure it was because I don’t look like a cowboy. I asked for my cover charge back and a bouncer rushed me. I was not being violent, he just rushed me. I’m sore on my body and have bruises on the back of my arm, from the bouncer attacking me. This is just not a good bar if you want to have a night on the town, unless your a honky-tonk conservative 6^th generation Durango cowboy.

Wildhorse Saloon in Durango is one of the best bars I’ve ever worked at in many years that I have done disc jockey. the owners are awesome the bartenders are well trained live music every weekend. Wanna have a buckin’ good time Wildhorse is the place to go with the largest dance floor in Durango. Ask for DJ Crazy Charlie for request songs I am proud to play for you whether its country rock and roll hip hop Spanish Blues. you got a song I’ll play it for sure. All did I mention we do all style karaōke as well. «Get your song on”™

I loved the live music but they cut off happy hour early. They went by a clock on the wall that was ten minutes fast. And when I corrected them, they said they go by their time. Ripping off customers is not cool

I have been here a few times and will not go back unless I have friends drag me here. While being one of the few places in Durango that consistently has dancing, it also is seedy and shady and not in the good its a dive bar full of character sort of way. In a way that you worry about the safety of those around you. The best example of this place I can give is that the last time I was there, the bathrooms were closed and sectioned off by about 12 police officers due to something that occurred in one of the bathroom.
Drinks are pricey, its hard to get them, and not the safest place, but if you like country music, this could be your place.
