It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get a bacon egg and cheese bagel like it did for me on a Saturday morning. I don’t care how busy they are, this is an operational issue. Plus this location is small so when you have to wait for food good luck because it is co cramped. The doughnuts are ok, but not much variety compared to some of the gourmet doughnut places. I think I even like KK’s doughnuts better. Coffee is pretty good, but they always add too much sugar unless you tell them not too.

I never really think much of low ratings for chains bc I think the food is pretty standard and consistent from one chain to another(for the most part) but this specific location was bad! I can see why their ratings are so low! Service is fine and all but their donuts… How can u mess up munchkins(donut holes)??? The chocolate cake munchkins were fine, but the plain glazed munchkins were so hard I couldn’t even bite through it. I got half a dozen and three out of the 6 were too hard to chew!!! What the heck — - how does that even happen? Did they not cook it all the way through? Did they miss an ingredient that softens the actual donut? Was very disappointed…

Worse coffee I’ve ever had at a Duncan Donuts. Absolutely bitter and could not drink my coffee after two drinks. Too bad when I can make better coffee at home.

This Dunkin’ location is great. The staff move fast and seem to enjoy working there. They always greet you with a smile. The regular drip coffee is not my style, but the new dark roast is really good — give it a try. I much prefer these donuts to Krispy Kreme. I haven’t had any of the problems other reviewers have mentioned, but I do avoid going at peak times.

Just your average DD. The staff are always pleasant though, and there is a younger African American kid working the drive thru who always makes customers laugh, even when the line is long. Wish I knew his name so I could compliment him to his supervisor. Anyway… average selection and average quality. Will go back.

This place is consistently a train wreck when it comes to basic customer service, and the food quality is among the worst of Dunkin locations. Staff is sometimes friendly enough, especially when management is present, but behind the counter is mostly chaos, inefficient service and what may be the unhappiest looking employees I’ve seen. My last experience there involved waiting for 10 minutes with absolutely no line, having my coffee cup presented to be covered in grounds and having two staffers argue over who would make my sandwich. I’ve given the place dozens of chances, but no longer wasting my time despite its convenience from my home.

The worst Dunkin I’ve ever had. Messed up my coffee twice and my bagel twice in the same order. Coffee tasted gross and burned and didn’t have the flavor I ordered. Bagel was tiny and stale. The employees don’t greet you and they were quite unfriendly. This was my third visit with the same result, so I will not be returning. Very disappointing.

Nasty coffee that seems to taste like it was brewed the day before… And I seriously wish that was the worst of it. My friend and I ordered breakfast sandwiches. She bit into her and said it tasted old and stale. She down to sip her orange juice to keep choking on driest bagel I’ve ever seen and I noticed that it had mold on it green and white mold to be exact so we called the store they said it couldn’t be old and referred us to email address so we can contact the owner. We contacted the owner via email and also called the store again after no response was given through the email address. Still no response or reply from the owner or even a manager so we took matters into our own hands and contacted the corporate office who has yet to respond to us. Check your bread or any other food you buy from here. Zero stars for food and minus 100000009 stars for customer service since the employees could care less that a customer was unsatisfied even after they saw mold on the sandwich…

I’ve been to this location several times since it’s the closest one to me. I typically go on Saturday or Sunday mid-morning. So I understand that this is when they are probably busiest. But I would guess that over 50% of the time they mess up my order. Only 25% of the time do they have mustard packets. And it has taken up to 32 minutes(I timed it) to get one biscuit. It becomes mass chaos and confusion inside. Maybe the one on Erwin Rd is better? Unless you’re just getting coffee and a donut or muffin, I’d go somewhere else.

Perfect if you want to purchase all of the left over Donuts, no one likes? How hard is it to get a Bavarian Crème, or a Lemon Filled in this town?

Conveniently located, easy drive through breakfast and surprisingly polite service. Donuts check. Coffee check. They even have enough parking if you actually want to come in and sit down, with plenty of table space for a good long chat with an old friend. Not bad dunkin

We moved this past weekend and thanked the friends we had recruited with Dunkin Donuts. Trouble was we didn’t get to the house until around noonish and none of them really got eaten. Not too much of an issue but I did pay about $ 9 for a dozen donuts. I asked for a variety and got about 3 different types. Not too impressed and the donuts were dry. Donut disaster… h

Not that I have donuts often anymore, but when I do I can count on them being consistent fresh and tasty here, a friendly staff, a good selection to choose from, and leaving with a happy tummy! Whether I’m stopping in or even driving by, it always is busy here! In spite of that the staff keeps up with everything while remaining cheerful, cool and collected even in the midst of a crowd. It’s really a tiny place so it gets jammed if more than four or five people are in line — no matter what time of day! Don’t forget to shake off the powdered sugar before you leave. Nothing like tell tale signs of having been at the DD!

The staff is never happy but the donuts are always good, better than the one across the street from NC State anyway.

Don’t let the polished appearance of this DD’s fool you. I’ve been there three times now, and the ordering process is always a disaster. My last experience through the drive-through went something like this: What I ordered(3 times, mind you): 2 Medium Hazelnut Coffees with sugar, no cream. 1 Glazed, 1 Chocolate Frosted, 1 Boston Cream, and a Coffee Roll. Repeated numerous times at the speaker to the woman who just couldn’t get it together. Finally rolled up to the window where I repeat my order AGAIN. The employee opens each bag, looks in, checks the side of the coffees to make sure they are correct, and says«ok.» What I got. 2 Medium Coffees. Black. 3 Chocolate Frosted and a Boston Cream. Seriously? Even the massholes at the Boston DD’s could get this order right.

Some people like DD, some people don’t. I’m guessing that you’re not reading this to learn about the chain, but about this location. It is clean, it is well staffed, it is quick, it is convenient. However, when I go through the drive-thru during their morning rush, ‘quality-control’ suffers. First, I order the same thing every visit, but pay a range of prices from a low of $ 3.18 to a high just over $ 4. I don’t think they’re stealing… just not too good on the register. I don’t fuss and just pay whatever amount I’m told figuring it will average out to something fair in the long run. Second, when I get a bagel with butter, sometimes I get a bagel with BUTTER. A crazy, heart-stopping, globular spheroid that dwarfs the bread it sits upon. And this has happened more than a few times. Third, I’ve tried various methods to order«light cream» or «less cream» in my coffee. Unfortunately, about half the time this is misinterpreted as «lots of cream» and I perversely wind up receiving more cream. So although this is the most convenient place for me to grab something on my way to work, I seldom go here anymore(unless I’m running late).

DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! I just had the wonderful pleasure of having Dunkin Donuts for the first time in the Research Triangle. It’s been tough, missing out on DDs coffee, coolattas, bagels, muffins, donuts, etc. Yes, DDs are pretty similar from one to the next, but that chocolate frosted donut, well, that’s a wonderful thing. The display is a little small, but the big boys are still there. Basically, it’s a perfect morning stop(or an afternoon stop for people who want to go on a Dunkies run). DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! DUNKIES! (Look, my review looks like a Breakfast Sandwich! :))

I am from California so we don’t have Dunkin’ donuts anywhere and for some reason there are commercials everywhere for them. So i went to Durham to visit a friend in Duke and i stumbled across one and i just had to see what the fuss was about. Every east coast person swears that DD is the best donut ever. I get a donut, forgot what kind and my friend and I both got the iced coffee. The donut was the worst tasting donut ever, it was stale and was just gross. The iced coffew was just as disgusting, Mcdonald’s is 10x better. We threw both the coffees and donut away right away and left. I still don’t get what is so good about it, and i know it wasn’t a fluke because in Chicago it tastes just as bad. I’m surprised they are still in business with their nasty donuts.
