I’ve been a tenant for about 5 year in their flex unit. Dedra and the staff have always been professional and helpful whenever I need it. I have recommended other business and organization to inquire about their services. It’s a good place to be.

Very clean storage units, with helpful staff, and seems like reasonable prices. They gave us a larger unit than we needed for the same price as a smaller unit that we saw online because the smaller unit was not available.
Only (minor) issue — the parking area to access the indoor units is also used for the extra U-​Haul trucks so some of the access doors can be blocked or not easy to get to, and one of the doors is up a short set of stairs.

After looking for a storage unit at both Uncle Bob’s (who were practically unfriendly, and certainly not welcoming) and Public Storage (fine, but the unit they showed us had a stream of water running through it.) we decided to try ONE MORE PLACE, and hit jackpot with Security Storage. Firstly, it was a welcoming atmosphere and staff, and you could feel that it was family run instead of corporate. Secondly, their rates and the add-​ons (free locks, 2nd month free) beat both the other options handily. Both other places were around $ 97 or more for the same size that we got for $ 80/​month. Glad that we decided to try one more place.

Rented a van from this location for a short move. Staff was friendly, vans were easily available and everything went off without a hitch. Also convenient location. Recommend it.

Poor service from the owner of the company. Connie is lackadaisical, doesn’t care. We always have issues with the gate being open, camera’s that are broken. Also it’s been about 2 months and nothing has been done about the gravel road that has a huge hole at the entrance if you truck has valuables or you car about your suspension, it’s horrendous.
Worse part is that I just feel our belongings are safe at Security Self Storage — Durham!
