The wings are delicious… there’s no question on that. This review is more for the service. Came in to place an order but wanted to read the menu first, not sure if the guy at the register took offense to this or not but he kept making rude comments through out the whole ordering process. Apparently they get upset if you want to read the menu to decide what to get.

I tried to call in my order and they hung up on me two times. I’m thinking they was busy but when I arrived to the store one employee was sitting on the bench by the door on his cell phone and it was slow. He was on the clock because he got up to answer the phone. My wings were okay but I ordered the baked beans and they were mushy and just seemed like they had been kept for days. I also ordered the rolls which was hard and I couldn’t eat them! This was a terrible experience defiantly won’t order again!

Wings here are ok, but I can think of two or three places where I prefer their wings over Wingstop. I ordered 10 wings, 5 of the garlic parmesan and 5 of the teriyaki. The wings were a little on the small side, and the teriyaki wings were way over-sauced. I think there was more sauce than there was wings. 10 wings+ fries+drink was ~ $ 12.50 so not really economical either, at least for fast food. The best thing I can say is the wings came out really quick after I ordered them and the food was hot.

Let me just get this out of the way now — I love wings! I’ve had wings from many different places including Dominos and Pizza Hut which both undeniably have the worst wings you can get. Only slightly better is Hooters. Yeah, that’s right, Hooters is not the«king of wing» anymore and neither is Wingstop. I was in the mood for wings the other day and I decided to try this place. I’ve never heard of them before and based on the name, I figured they had wings based on the name. The location is pretty new so everything still looks shiny and new. There is an aviator motif inside. There is one of those all-in-one coke dispensers that serves any Coke product flavor you can think of and dispenses nice crushed ice. In case you didn’t already figure it out, Coke is the anchor beverage. The menu is… well it is a confusing mess. The best way I can describe it is to think of the actual naked wing as the car, the sauces and dips are the base coat and paint. The base coats and paint are bought ala-carte in a sense. If you are ordering one of the combo meals, you can get ‘x’ number of wings with options of how many sauces and dips you want. If you ask me it all too damn confusing. I prefer the old school method of ordering wings — I want ‘x’ number of wings with ‘x’ sauce and choice of dressing(dips as they call them at this place). And I sure as hell don’t want french fries with my wings. Looking past the ordering confusion of the menu I finally figured out how to order it the way I wanted it — there is a tiny section called«by the piece». It was here I could order just what I want and how I wanted it. Great — I finally figured it out. The front counter help looked as if she didn’t even want to be there and was not overly talkative or happy to see me there. I placed a «to-go» ordered for 20 wings with three flavors(sauces) — 10 hot(about average), 5 atomic(which wasn’t atomic at all) and 5 cajun(which were really mild). The order took forever and several other customers that ordered after me got there orders before I did. Not to amused about that either. So, after all the struggle to decode the menu and wait patiently while other orders were taken and served was it worth the hassle… No! The wings were just okay and only a slight cut above places like Pizza Hut and Dominos. I was really disappointed because for only three dollars more, I could get 20 world class wings at The Aviator.

I just realized that I previously reviewed Wingstop’s closed location even though I went to this 7104 address, well technically I went to both. Here is my review for this new location: «This was my first time having WingStop. Yet again another place that I’ve never heard about before coming to the South. This location used to be by the Krogers but has moved 1.8miles away. We actually went to the old location only to play scavenger hunt and used our navi to guide us to its new spot. This place definitely made me work to get these wings! There is plenty of parking for now. They are in a new commercial development and looks like they are the first business to lease. This makes getting in and out less busy. I ordered the mango habanero spicy(wet) wings and the lemon pepper(dry) and cheese fries. The staff handed delivered our meals to us both but when we got home we realized they not on only swapped our orders, but added cheese on my friends fries too. She was not prepared for the spicy and I lost a spicy wing! Overall, good place. I’ll return especially during football season. Just wish there were more locations throughout the city.»
