I don’t always shop at Dollar Tree, but when I do I go to a huge one like this. I browsed this store yesterday while Sam was getting a haircut and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this store. I didn’t get to look at everything but I there are a few notables here. The craft section is splendid because they have things that you would pay 10X more for at Michael’s — such as those little life-like birds, baskets, craft paints and hot glue. If you’re into prettying up your home for cheap they have a plethora of vases and colorful stones, picture frames and trinkets. Who says cheap can’t look classy? Their holiday decorations are a steal. Their cards are wonderful if you need something simple that doesn’t have to talk or sing when you open it. They had a freezer section with popsicles and the like and plenty of personal hygiene products. Stores like this are great if you need a gift for a young girl. You could make a basket full of body spray, hair supplies and flavored chap sticks for ultra cheap. I can imagine that day care workers would have a hay day in their school sections — it’s full of stickers and little math and reading books. Plenty of kid friendly thing in here. I like to come here for Christmas Tree decorations more than anything because they sell glittery ornaments that wont break the bank and won’t break when the cat knocks them off the tree. All in all, you gotta love a good Dollar Tree. I didn’t notice at this one, but I know some of them sell helium balloons for all different kinds of occasion. A helium balloon for a dollar? Now that’s a treat.
