The food&service is ok! I don“t understand what people rant&rave about… I would not cut back here, had a few bad experiences. The owner is rude, food is overpriced especially for just a familiy restaurant&spin!!!

The soups of the day are made on premises. The food is prepares well and is nutritious. The bar is aesthetic. There is really no downside! Awesome place for lunch.

returned tonight to dine with some friends, while my food was markedly improved the service was so insanely slow that it made for a frustrating meal — sorry guys, but it shouldn’t take four hours to whip up an order of meatloaf, a burger & two orders of mac & cheese, i was the meatloaf person & as i said it was terrific but the wait times before & after the meal and the fact that our waitress was practically non-existent turned this into a less than acceptable experience

We just moved into the area(November) and this quickly became mine and my husbands favorite hangout in town! The drinks are good the food is great. We love the buffalo chicken tacos and the bang bang shrimp tacos. Also if you’re in the mood for nachos their buffalo chicken nachos are fabulous!

Place was very nice. Probably best place in East Islip. Read most of the reviews and looked at the description. Felt out of place wearing jeans. Most guys had button down dress shirts. Other than that food and service was great. I think it’s the lunch rush. Come here for dinner. Love it

The absolute BEST French fries I’ve ever had! And my 5 is strictly for that. Love Jackson hall and all their food, but I could eat those fries as a meal.

Along with 10 other family members, we went to Jackson Hall about two weeks ago. We had Deanna(sp) as our waitress and she was absolutely incredible. She was helpful, kind, and pleasant throughout our entire dining experience. The food was delicious, too. From the Thai Fried Calamari salad and Ahi Tuna to the Meatloaf, Ribs, and Lemon Chicken, Jackson Hall pleased all of our food cravings! It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate post-Christmas. Consistently top notch!

Went for taco Tuesday and loved it. Got the chili taco and the buffalo chicken taco. $ 2 tacos, $ 5 margaritas if you sit on the bar side of the restaurant. I liked the buffalo chicken better. Our waitress was very nice. Our waters were never empty and I didn’t go long without a margarita. The only downside was that the food only came out warm. So by the time I got to the second taco, it was cold. We ended the night with cheesecake which was very good as well.

Nice place friendly service and atmosphere. Drink goood. Good burger especially the bun. Fries were crunchy which I like but a bit too much salt. Doesnt usually bother me. Felt like I downed some of the salt shaker after a few fries. Otherwise I would recommend and go back. Will try to remember to tell them to hold back on the salt.

Came here with family for lunch after daughters confirmation. Ordered the Fried Calimari and Artichoke Dip for apps. Calamari was fresh, and my party of five consumed it quite efficiently. Wish there was a little more on the plate :(the artichoke dip was also delicious with big chunks of artichokes, very tasty… Chips were nice and crispy. My main dish was the Seafood Fra Diavolo. Very fresh tasting, loves the shrimp — again wish there were more shrimp than mussels but that’s how it goes Service was good — atmosphere quiet for a Wednesday afternoon… definitely will return

We went there last night with a party of 8. It was late and we didn’t know where to go. I live in the neighborhood an have never been, so we gave it a try. The menu was different. eclectic I would say. Mexican, Asian, Italian and bar food. Nothing special, it was ok. I guess for happy hour it’s a good spot.

Always generous portions and service is good. Food is fresh and I’m never disappointed when eating in small groups of people. It’s a challenge though if you are having a big function because the kitchen is really slow then. Recommendations: steaks are good and wraps are delicious.

I’m actually shocked to see the low rating here! My fiancé and I went randomly for lunch yesterday, as we drove down Montauk highway from Lindenhurst seeking a lunch spot. We were just about en route to the Promise Land of Patchogue when we were passing Jackson Hall and my fiancé remembered his Dad mentioning it once before. Well, it was absolutely wonderful! We sat outside on the patio and first ordered the grilled chicken nachos to start. I don’t eat cheese and always choose to pull the chips from the bottom of the pile bc they’re usually«naked». I was so unsuccessful at this task bc the entire thing was piled super high, with hot, fresh, crispy chips and LOADED with a ton of grilled chicken chunks and a combo of cheese sauce and real melted cheeses throughout. My fiancé(along with the rest of the world) is such a cheese lover and this was truly a cheese-lovers delight. I managed to find a few«naked» ones, dipped them in the salsa and guac, and it was excellent! With our nachos, my fiancé had a beer and I had a red sangria. I usually find that«crap» sangria tastes more like fruit juice and less like wine, but this sangria had a perfect wine to fruit ratio and was extremely good and very memorable. My fiancé is 6’5″ and 300 pounds. The fiesta burger he ordered for his entrée was enormous and just the right size and price! I had the fresca salad(minus the mozz., with balsamic vinegrette) and it was huge, delicious and fresh! Our waitress was definitely less than excited to be working that day, not sure why, but whatever– she was fine otherwise. We agreed that though it took a bit long for our entrée’s to come out, but considering they were of great portions and very very good– it was worth the wait for the sake of the TLC in our food. We left there raving about it to my mother-in-law and can’t wait to return with the family!

Always enjoy dinner and drinks here. Whether for lunch, dinner, or just happy hour it has been a great experience each and every time. Outdoor seating in the nice weather too.

I’m so with Ashley S.- extremely rude management and staff. Had a party there last year with very good food, good service and a snickering, gossipy manager who acted like a 12 year-old girl because we took too long to pack up. Instead of coming to us to actually say something he chose to mock us to a sever/runner who although several years younger than this manager, had the maturity(or plain common sense) not to participate. Then another manager(insane woman) who swears up and down that my wife showed up hours before she was supposed to because she mistook her for somebody from the florist who vaguely resembled my wife. As is often the case with their menu specials, the staff takes you almost all the way to a great experience and then completely spoil it with an extremely ill-advised, unnecessary final ingredient.

I work across the street, so my boss took me here for lunch on my first day. I will say the salad I ordered was delicious. The food he ordered, he said was good. Another person said their burger was good. However, the service, is a little lacking unless you sit at the bar. So be prepared to wait for extra napkins or a refill UPDATE: Went 2 more times, and the service was excellent ~ however, not a fan of Taco Tuesday. I was SOOOO Excited because I love tacos, but there were only 4 types, and 3 of them were fried.

Eaten here several times having lived in the area. I cannot complain about the food here, it’s pretty good! But, it isn’t anything extraordinary to rave about either… it is simply quality food and nothing more or less. The waitstaff and hostess’ are always friendly, quick to check in, and knowledgeable about the menu. Absolutely love their martini menu, the rainbow cookie martini being my favorite! Tastes like the real thing! Only thing I have to ‘complain’ about are some of the bartenders. Most bars I go to, the bartenders are confident, friendly, outgoing and helpful. Some of these bartenders are either A) socially awkward to a point that it hurts or B) Act like making a drink is just wayyy to complicated to even consider doing. While other bartenders, are great. Even though the bar is ALWAYS packed when I come, not my favorite place to grab a drink. Much better place to grab a great dinner.

I truly wish I could give no stars. Nasty manager who has no management skills. My brother got an extremely sharp piece of who knows what in his food. The manager did not care at all and was extremely nasty blaming the frozen spinach. The second we pointed it out the waitress grabbed it and threw it out so we did not have anything to show… Luckily we didn’t give them all the pieces just the bigger one. The manager refused to give us his name and tried to justify the situation as he had the steak and there was nothing in it. I will post the pictures of the small piece and oh did I mention all the bugs crawling on the last row of tables inside the restaurant. They tried to say«the doors are open». Avoid like the plague unless you want to have your throat cut and deal with unprofessional management. And yes, I will be calling the board of health. Oh and the waitress told us this has happened before!
