I can write Spanish but why? My mother cooked fresh Hispanic food. What she made was my favourite guesd whwt??? It is not found here. Sadly this location is bias to some meets found in 99% of Hispanic restaurants. Don’t believe me just ask for what they don’t have. There asada is ok. It carries the taste of yesterday. Don’t ask for avocado, they beem missing that three times I been there. Some will enjoy, some will know better.

I’m not a mexican food’s expert but I can say my family loved the quesadillas and the other dish with carne asada(i’m bad with names) Price is very fair for a lot of food. Jose has a great customer service, the women working with him need more skills to treat customers but… I went to eat and it was yummy!

The Birria continues to be really good! This is the epitome of great birria Michoacana, which is the best in Mexico.

I used to love coming here for enchiladas! In fact I used to come here once a week to get a couple orders of them to go, but this past visit was just awful. I am usually not one to give a bad review, but I think seeing the good/bad of a business helps them improve — well if that’s what they want to do. Okay, well this past weekend my sister, a friend, and I decided to eat at Los Temos. We have been customers since they had the Taco Truck in EPA so, we where excited to get some good grub! Our food arrived almost 30 minutes late since the waiter forgot to tell the cook to make it and they did not even seem to care that we almost walked out and asked for refunds. They are expanding — adding a little snack store, and pizza to their menu so, I blame it on that. They used to be so good! Do better.

So disappointed normally in the past their tacos were good. Service sucked in so did the fatty beef tacos, cat food chicken tacos and lets not forget they used to have some of the best hot sauce. Not anymore! Lol

Still missing the demise of El Gallope. A friend suggested this as the next best. What happened to El Gallope? This family taqueria/restaurant taken down by East Palo Alto redevelopment process. I am still annoyed staring at a vacant lot knowing that there was a vital establishment grazed by the speculators. Back to the taqueria. I wish these folks could throw a bit of money to clean this place up. I almost walked out when I arrived… but I stayed. First, these are kind folks here. They offered tastes of the Biria(the goat soup) that was very rich. Then there is an abundance of homemade tortillas. The first two to three were just so good. We enjoyed huevos rancheros — not on the menu, but made to request. Great fresh juices and homemade horchata. We talked about the food, and enjoyed our time here. We will return.

I came here on a Sunday morning looking for some Menudo to cure my hangover from the previous night. I had the choice of adding a pig’s foot to my soup which I happily agreed to. I was expecting there to be a decent amount of meat on that hoof like a hamhock; all I got was a mixture of skin, fat, and gelatinous goop! Further, I was disappointed not find any hominy in my soup, however, the large amount of flour tortillas they gave me sufficed to satisfy my hunger for more sustenance. By the looks of it, these folks get pretty serious when it comes to servin up some authentic tacos. In fact, there taco are served in the dining area by a Taquero behind a cart. They throw together the meat for you, while you choose handmade tortillas or regular ones. Add to that a do– it-yourself salsa/onion/cilantro etc bar and your set for some good eatin!

I’m extremely picky with Mexican food. Hate grease tacos with bad quality food Expect the best here… Don’t under estimate the looks… See it as ghettomexfantabulous and guess what not your typical cash only taqueria like other not reporting to ELTIOSAM… debit card acceptance…

Los Temos Taqueria has excellent food! I absolutely love coming here and I try to frequent it at least once a week. My favorite is morisqueta, which is kind of the mexican version of curry. Its white rice, with a marinade of beef ribs. Simply amazing. Enough said. I love their tacos as well. If you get them, I highly recommend their hand made tortillas. The litmus test of a mexican restaurant(in my opinion) is if they make hand made tortillas. Theirs are really good and only an additional 50 cents. I also really like their menudo, which is a beef stew/soup. They provide hand made tortillas with this plate as well. If you go in the evening, you can get their tacos«mexican style» from their taco stand. Soo good. Especially with the spicy chile of oil. CAUTION: Its really spicy! The owners are also very friendly. Lastly, the place is pretty inexpensive for the quality of the food.

So I’m not familiar with Mexican food, but decided to do take out from this place because of the good reviews. The person who answered the phone was very patient in explaining what the main menu items were and even how they were made. We ordered tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and tamales. They also put different meats in each taco so we could try them all. My two and four year olds devoured their quesadillas and the adults probably liked the tacos the best. The sides –green sauce, red sauce, carmelized onions-are a must and made the tacos very yummy.

This place is awesome. Outside of Jarocho it maybe the best taqueria in EPA. A Michoacan focused menu with things like chavindeca. Excellent meats with tacos at $ 1.5 a pop or house made tortillas for 50cents more. 4.5 stars

Tried this place out as it is close to work. On a weekday it was deserted at 1PM. It is very much a dive of a place. Had an odd non-food smell to it. If you eat there, you get disposable plates and utensils anyway. Food tasted good. Tacos are served as just meat and you add your own cilantro, onions and salsa at the salsa bar. Green salsa was very good. Red salsa was watery and separated so stayed away from that. There was also a separate container with oil on top and a red paste on the bottom that looked like a separated version of the hot oil you find at chinese restaurants. Didn’t look too appetizing. Will probably stick to Three Brothers in that area unless I am wanting goat again, which was tasty.

Tacos here are awesome, comparable to La Bamba! Dive of a place, but great authentic Mexican food.

1 star for ambiance but 4 for the food authenticity and service! The place is pretty dark and old looking so unless you have to stay, i would take-out. The tacos are great! The meat is well seasoned and you add your own condiments at their humble bar: green/red salsa, onions, cilantro, whole pinto beans! You are given the option for store or handmade tortillas, gotta go hand-made! Meats: asada, al pastor, chicken, beef head, tongue and goat. I also enjoyed their enchiladas. They are made in the Michoacan style(state in Mexico). Tortillas dipped in a sauce, fried and rolled up with cheese, cabbage and the meat on the side. You have the option of crunchy fried-dried beef(cecina, delicious!) or chicken. Another great Michoacan dish is the Morisqueta! It’s a pork in chile sauce dish served over a bed of white rice and beans, topped with sour cream, cheese and cabbage!

A co-worker recommended this place. It was really good and inexpensive. I went around lunch time on a Saturday. There were a lot of customers and most of them had their food to go. The place is quite big and everything is made fresh at a counter by the front door. My order took a bit long but it gave me time to check out the liquor store 2 doors down as I am new to the neighborhood. Overall very good. I’d come here again. The chicken burrito was very yummy.
