Amazing food!!! Can any order anything and its sooo delicious! Staff is so helpful and very loving to there customers. Going to tell everyone about this place.

I feel like I should give myself one star (if I could rate myself and not the diner!) for living within 3 minutes of this place for 18 months and just now visiting it for the first time! Good food, good service, and a nice little diner. Like some have said, its a little tough to spot the place from the road since the signage is small, but well worth the trip.

This is my new favorite diner!
My egg white veggie omelet was delicious! Fresh veggies! Fluffy egg whites! woohoo! The only complaint I have is that they would not let me substitute homefries for fruit — not even for an additional charge.

Mel’s is a small diner that is tucked away in East Providence. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have a decent breakfast menu with plenty of specials. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and even though I like a greasy breakfast from time to time, it was way too greasy, butter everywhere! We will give it another try sometime soon.

Small but amazing! The waitress was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. Giant portions at affordable prices! We continue to frequent Mel’s for some of the best pancakes and the kick-​ass chourico hash. Yum!

Mel’s Diner is a sweet little spot with some of the friendliest (and motherly!) staff I’ve ever experienced. The portions were huge and the prices were disproportionately low. After a pretty rough night, Mel’s Diner is exactly what you need. Also, the coffee at this diner, unlike a lot of other diners, was absolutely amazing. If I could recommend anything, it would be lots and lots of sausage patties.

but all around is a great breakfast place. the waitresses are really nice :)
