Delicious! Food was wonderfully delicious! Service was just as good. They make their own breads and cinnamon rolls(the cinnamon rolls are huge). I had a breakfast sandwich made with homemade biscuits which definitely hit the spot.

What a delicious spot to have brunch! Reasonably priced, great portions, caring staff. I’ve been here for small work lunches as well as out with the family for a treat and have never been let down. Their greens are always fresh and crisp and the seafood is wonderfully prepared. Wait times can vary, but the staff works their butts off to ensure a lovely experience. A big shout out to Katie, she rocks!

No. We waited an hour for over priced sandwiches and it wasn’t even busy. I know that there is «island time» and then there is Café Olga time. When I asked about them, the kitchen hadn’t even started making our order. No apology from the waitress at all, who has a SEVERE case of RBF. We had to get the food to go because my sister in law had to go back to work. My kids were hungry and they did nothing to amend the looooong wait. Overall, just stressful and lame but could have been easily fixed had the waitress maybe… I don’t know… apologized? Smiled? Given us crackers? Sandwiches were fine as we angry-ate them in the car. Go here if you don’t care about being hungry forever.

I have fond memories of the old location and their blackberry pie and wanted to share the experience with my kids so I made sure to check their dates and hours when I planned our trip. They are closed on Wednesday — no big deal. We were on the island Tues to Thurs. We went to the café starving on Tues… and no berry pie. We were told that because they are closed on Wed they stop making new items so they can sell out of what they have so not only are they closed on Wed but they are out of most desserts on Tues. Um??? The kids had a good lemon chicken soup and baked eggs for lunch and I had a bland chicken salad(better when salted) w greens(fresh and good basic dressing) and the scalibut cakes. The lemon chicken soup was the winner and what is worth the second star. Kids loved it. Lunch for one adult and 2 kids was $ 50. I specifically asked our server if there would be berry pie on Thurs and was assured that they«bake up a storm on Wednesday» and«they could not guarantee blackberry but usually raspberry or blackberry and a lot of other desserts would be made». Ok… we were willing to try again based on that. So…I got two hopeful kids up early on Thursday morning and we stumbled into the café about 8 am so no chance of «selling out»…and NO berry pie. Major let down. Really disappointing… it was one of the nostalgic focuses of the trip and a total strike out. We left. The youngest actually about to cry. Expectations are a thing. Thank goodness for the kind service and excellent baked goods at Brown Bear Bakery… they got a smile back on our faces. So…to those that have fond memories of the old brown barn with the beautiful art gallery and the excellent berry pie… this is no longer that place.

Great meal and great service! Had the French toast and my husband had the olga slam! We both loved our meals and the fast and friendly service.

Café Olga has good savory options as well as tasty pie. I ordered the veggie rufo sandwich for lunch. Avocado, shaved carrots, fresh greens, tomato, cucumber and provolone(I believe) were layered between two slices of focaccia bread. The sandwich spread appeared to be a vinaigrette. I opted to leave out the onions and banana peppers, but the sandwich was still flavorful and a decent portion. It also came with a pasta salad, which I saved for later, and have yet to try. At the very least, stop by to try a generous slice of blackberry or key lime pie. Both are yummy, although I prefer the tangy-tart key lime with a graham cracker crust over the traditional blackberry pie. A scoop of vanilla ice cream would be nice with the blackberry option. Our waitress was very nice. The interior of the restaurant lacks character, but no complaints.

The food was outstanding! Two of us ordered Huevos Rancheros baked egg dishes and the other two ordered sandwiches. Everyone was quite pleased and, most importantly, full! Marlie, our server, was pleasant and knowledgable. The place was packed when we arrived. We waited about 10 minutes for a table; it was worth the wait. It’s small inside so the attention and service is personal. The only downside I can think of is that four of us were put at a table that was about 3′ square. It was cozy. We even got dessert to go, although we were stuffed! Visit here!

Ehhh. Wanted to like this place, but sadly, I did not. The inside and outside of the restaurant itself it cute, but the menu has some funky items for lunch. I am more of a plain-jane type of eater, and most of the menu items had lots of greek stylings and just too many extras on the entrees. I ended up getting just a cinnamon roll that was very tasty. My husband ordered a Ruben sandwich that he said was OK, but nothing special. Service was slow, but the waitress was very sweet.

Terrific food. Was completely impressed when they reduced the price for my meal because I didn’t want the salad. I’ve NEVER had a restaurant do this ever. I got the Grilled Halibut & rice. It was perfect!

I read good reviews from several sites for this restaurant, but I was pretty underwhelmed. The food was only okay. Our dishes were all decent, but nothing really stood out as something we’d really want to eat again. The atmosphere is definitely lacking. The restaurant is small with dingy and dated furnishings. The service was the worst, though. I won’t go into a ton of detail, but it was bad. Overall, we were really disappointed.

We stopped here for coffee and breakfast and we were not disappointed. The baked eggs were delicious and the biscuit and jam were so good! The service was very good and our waiter was super friendly. We would definitely recommend for a quaint breakfast on the island.

Olga’s serves baked eggs with various additives. One of us got the salmon version, the other got ham and cheese. The baked eggs came with a homemade biscuit, jam, delicious fruit– grapes, melon, pineapple, and others. We had beer and lemonade. Service was friendly and efficient.

The best place for breakfast in Eastsound! Just up the hill heading out of town, towards Doe Bay where Café Olga used to be. It is sad that their old place no longer exists, but it’s nice having them closer in to town! Baked eggs and breakfast scrambles are delicious… they have a nice deck for sitting outside in the summer time.

A great place to have lunch for the full Orcas Island experience. The waitress was friendly and she memorized all our orders! They only do that at the fancy restaurants, right? The main course was good but the dessert was good-er.

Stopped here for brunch on a Sunday after finding Roses closed. The food was good… but by far the BEST service on the island. Will come back next visit! Try the Skalibut… won’t be disappointed.

If you want great food and great ambiance outside, come here! The food ranges from breakfast goods of eggs and fruit to delicious fresh salads and sandwiches. Anything you order will be a good choice. I ordered the rancheros scramble and my mom ordered their special of the day, the dungenous crab scramble. To die for! Our waiter, Remi, was so polite and kind, and prompt when bringing us more water, our food, jam, the check… it was great service with a great personality. Overall, amazing experience here at Olgas. If you’re looking for great food that is very well priced, come in and enjoy the view!

Café Olga is simply amazing, you can tell the food was made with love. You won’t be disappointed with anything on there menu. All the breads, muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls«largest I’ve ever seen» deserts, soups all made INHOUSE!!! Sooooooo delicious.

Very decent vegan bagel sandwich with side of home fries and fruit made for a satisfying meal. It contained avocado, shredded carrot, tomato, onion, and banana peppers. The home fries were tiny cubes with an overall small serving size but tasted ok. The fruit side was miniscule(one sliver/three bites of pineapple, 5 or 6 grapes, etc). Ketchup was listed as 50 cents on the menu. There was not a bottle on the tables. Same for jam, syrup, and other condiments. However, everything together was a ok. The waitress was conscientious and very friendly!

After driving around forever with patchy service and finding the Co-op and some friendly locals with some dining options in the off season, we finally settled on Café Olga. The Day before we ate at Mia’s Café and they were very friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions… So I figured maybe this small town might all be hip to the Seattle-ites coming to the town with all their weird dietary restrictions.(Sorry about us). I no longer eat meat, dairy, or eggs but everything on the menu came with a variation or combination of them. Some of the ingredients on the sandwiches had some very tasty looking vegetables. So I asked if I could make my own sandwich. The waitress said«sureeee,» in a sort of condescending or unsure way(The entire time she was a little awkward and hard to read… like being friendly was painful or forced or something). She returned from the kitchen a few minutes later to inform me that they would rather stick to the regular menu items. Luckily, there was something on the menu that I could just drop the cheese in place of an avocado. I forget what it was called… Some Melted Fontina roasted Red Pepper Sandwich. The Focaccia bread was amazing. The sandwich was amazing. something I am definitely craving today. The bread was so good my mother in law just wanted a slice. The waitress did her weird«suuuurrrre» thing again and we expected bad news to come out from the kitchen again, but this time it was a sure thing and we got the side of bread. Tables in the temporary space were way too small for 3 people, much less the 4 that it was set for. The place was inviting as it could be considering the sad circumstances with the fire to their original and beautiful spot. I would definitely come back, when in town, for that sandwich! I didn’t like the side salad even tho is was a beautiful presentation. I would have rather had some chips and I rarely eat junk food anymore. ;-/ All in all… I would say give this place a try!

Staff was friendly and the food was good and satisfying. Big portions and you must finish with a giant gooey cinnamon roll! Service was a little slow, but it was a busy time of day and we were in no hurry.

We loved Café Olga so much — in it’s new location, by the way — that we ate there three times over a three-day visit, twice for dinner and once for brunch. We enjoyed their friendly staff, and also the scalibut cakes, the scallop dish(which my partner says had the perfect amount of garlic). For brunch, I had to try their fig spread … and it was delicious, too. Just be sure to call and double check their hours because I’ve found that they’re listed incorrectly online.

A nice place that probably tries too hard. We felt sorry for the server who had to rattle off at least half a dozen intricate specials, all from memory. A printed sheet would have been better, all the way around. The strengths are tasty sandwiches and good salads, along with pies. We had the turkey Reuben(good, not great) and the special beef tenderloin special(excellent). The soup special was completely forgettable with little flavor. The prior reviews’ concerns about service suggests they should pare down the menu and play up their strengths.

I had a tasty cup of ham and bean soup and half a chicken-cashew salad sandwich. Both were nicely seasoned and full of fresh ingredients. The bummer was the service. Rather unfriendly and terribly slow, even when I gently stated that I was in a bit of a hurry. Maybe they were having an off-day, but I noticed many disgruntled customers who had their credit cards in hand while trying to flag down the waitress. Sadly, the service sullied what could have otherwise been a satisfying lunch.

Everybody said to go to Café Olga. The old place in Olga has a fire, and the relocated to Eastsound. We ere underwhelmed, apparently the move has caused some problems. The tables are big enough for two, but they try and put four people at the table, I asked them to push two tables together, and the obliged since it was empty. Way two small of a table for even two kids and two adults, we would have had spills galore, no doubt. The coffee was the best part, and was average. My son had the cinnamon roll that I tried some of. It was heavy and too bready. My dungeoness crab egg baked omelet was overcooked, and not good, disappointing. My wife was served moldy grapes. Our waters were not kept full despite being one of three tables in the restaurant. I think I had a biscuit, but it was served cold, and with no butter or jam. I had to ask for that, then the butter would not spread because both the butter and biscuit were cold. And it wasn’t cheap. The service was OK. We didn’t eat out again till the end of our trip, worried the 4 star ratings on Orcas Island were skewed. I did do some great grilling with the excellent seafood from Buck Bay Oyster Farm, so that was an up side. It was not cheap either, particularly for what you got. Olga Café is not what it once was, I would avoid.
