Finally! Authentic Korean for which I don’t have to trek all the way to St Paul. Ordered the Crash Course for Two and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even better were the taco apps — fusion at its best. On the rec of our awesome waiter we ordered Korean sodas which were great — I heart the yogurt flavor soda. Service was flawless and the décor was cool and modern. Definitely going back soon for lunch and dinner.

The quality and food was in my experience below average. Needs improvement. I did takeout. I ordered takeout. Chicken Wings, Galbi and Bulgogi. Also; the Korean side dishes include were a sad portion; about a tea spoon of each…

Great service. Food is not so great. There are better choices in twin cities when it comes to Korean food, both in terms of price and the food itself.

It’s a warm and friendly place with romantic early 90’s music. The staff is very tentative but not overbearing. They were very quick and accommodating. The banchans were good, except for the pickled cucumber that tasted sour and old instead of crispy and pickled. The crash course combo for two is delicious! The meat is very tender. The kaibi was even better than Hoban. I just wished there was more. The Chicken is awesome. I usually don’t like to order chicken when I go out with the exception of fried chicken because it is always overcooked. The spice and marinade broke down chicken like it has been brined. The Samgyeopsal, aka the pork belly, is very tasty. But nothing beats the thick cuts you get in Korea. I loved the fact that they have samjang to go with it! Now if only they serve soju. Then it would have been perfect. I can’t wait to go back and try the other stuff! The entire menu is on my list! Next time, I will go a little after they just opened, because the rice was a little undercooked, it needed about another 10 minutes to steam. But I’m so happy that they use the rice I like and not some cheap long grain white rice. They spend the money for quality! It’s a great hang out spot for gatherings as well!

Fantastic service. Lots of parking available and easy to get to off 62. The dolsot bibim bap was perfect. Great flavor and good portion size, enough to have extra for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back.

My handsome man friend and I got the«crash course» for 2 people. The meat was marinated masterfully and was very tender. I had never been here before so the waiter explained how to eat Korean bbq and what all the meats were. All of the wait staff were very friendly and came over to check on us during our meal. The chef also came by after our dinner to see how things went. Overall I’d recommend this place to anybody looking to try traditional Korean bbq or looking for a friendly atmosphere.

TL;DR Food: Overall good and delicious! I suggest the Seoul Burger Service: Nice and attentive(he was a bit quiet. Kind of hard to hear sometimes) Atmosphere: generally quiet, mood lighting at night. Seemed really dark. My family and I walked toward Gogi at night and it looked closed from the outside because it wasn’t well lit and we didn’t see any people from the window. Thankfully there was an open sign to let us know it was actually open though. Anyway, food was good. Appetizer pickled side dishes were yummy. A bit on the salty side. I felt like I needed some rice with it. I had the bulgogi beef. Portion wise it was close to perfect. It filled me up nicely. While I wish there was more rice for the beef, the beef was delicious. I suggest for it to be grilled instead of pan fried though. it could have been so much more tasty and more healthy(less oily). Overall I was happy with my meal. My mother had the Seoul Burger. I had a bite of it and it was freaking delicious! It’s a great fusion dish. Fries were alright but there was soooo much of them. My family could not finish it all. My brother had the bim bop with a fried egg. I didn’t get to taste it but my brother said it was good.

Just finished my lunch from here. I am in no way a Korean food expert. I’ve really only had the cuisine 3 times or so. That being said I thought this was a little on the disappointing side. For one the lunch prices are a little more than I want to spend for lunch. I mean the portion size is more like a dinner entrée and the prices reflect that but it’s more than I can eat for lunch and more than I would like to spend. Nothing on the menu is under $ 10 and the«authentic» dishes are all $ 12-$ 16 before tax and a small tip. Second, and most important, I was not all that impressed with the food itself. The standard Korean sides(pickles, kimchi, pickled potatoes and broccoli) were really good but my main dish was flavorless and lacking a decent amount of protein. I got beef in about every 6th bite of my lunch and only mixed about half the rice with the sauteed meats and veg. I had the dolsot bibim bap. Even when I did manage to get a chunk of beef into my mouth it was tough and flavorless. the juices from my kimchi and the red sauce they sent with saved this dish from being completely flavorless. Not sure I would ever come back tbh. The people working there are really nice and the menu is inciting but my first time there was such a let down. I’ve heard such good things about this place but I was not impressed.

What we could eat was very tasty. Too much fat on the pork, about half. Seoul Burger was delicious. Fries were not good at all. Service appears to be ‘on the job training’.

Best dining out experience yet this season… If you love Korean food the way I do you’ll love this restaurant… but it’s not just Korean BBQ… it’s more like Korean Fusion… they make their own kimchee to appeal to the taste of most Minnesota residents… right now the menu is limited but since having a successful«run» with their traveling food trucks, which are now used for catering and special occasions they have been in this location for only about a month… and will be expanding their menu shortly… I pride myself in finding new restaurants that I feel give you the complete dining experience, starting with a friendly staff that will go out of their way to get you exactly what you want to the best Korean food I have ever tasted outside of Korea… Having traveled the entire country of South Korea and sampling the food from restaurants to street vendors I have fallen in love with a cuisine that is very unique in my mind at least… We met and talked to the owner who is anxious to please and has done a great job of remodeling this space in a Minnetonka strip mall by putting in a huge window that overlooks a scenic pond… very trendy looking… Our waitress was eager to explain all of the dishes to try and find out what best suited our tastes… We had a great time… I was with my beautiful bride and my handsome young son, who is actually the person that steered us in the direction of this place…

Gogi Bros brings fantastic Korean flavor the burbs. I love the beef bulgogi which comes with several side«tummies» known as Banchan. These are assorted pickled and or fermented items. They switch them around regularly but the kimchee is always included and is delicious. I’ve also had the Kimchee Fried Rice and it is so good. Great flavor with a touch of heat. Service is always friendly & professional. The entire staff have been so kind and appreciative of our business.

Had to come back! There’s just something about this place! Brought one of my girlfriends and she loved it too. This time I tried a few new things. Korean bbq tacos, Kim chi jigae, & the Seoul Burger… All were delicious!!! We received 3 tacos that had pepper jack cheese, fried kimchi, their house made«tiger slaw» along with a spicy sauce. Definitely might be my favorite! The Kim Chi Jigae is their hot and sour soup that has pork and tofu(I love tofu!!!), I’ll definitely be back for their soup this winter. & last but not least, I had the The Seoul Burger. I couldn’t decide between this burger and the bulgogi burger, but the server recommended the Seoul Burger to me, & I knew I was bound to try it anyway! He said its ½ a pound beef after its cooked, & wasn’t lying!!! This thing was huge! I ended up taking home almost all of my burger & fries! I also added a fried egg to my burger which I highly recommend! Don’t even hesitate! Gogi Bros, you might just be my new favorite Korean restaurant!

I am completely impressed by this place. I had one of the best burgers of my entire life on the recommendation of the server: y’all have to have the Seoul Burger. It’s marinated bulgogi style and then topped with some slaw and other delicious nonsense. I can’t explain it properly. You need to experience it. The rest of the menu looks equally as delicious(Kimchi jjiggae, I am coming for youuuu!), service is perfect, and the owners stop out to chat at each table and get feedback. The menu itself is a blend of traditional and fusion, and the banchan are plentiful and refillable. It’s convenient I work near here, because I’m gonna become a regular. I just know it.

At the end of a grueling business trip, Unilocal brought me here. This is my first Korean BBQ experience. I’m sold. I had the beef. It was so tender. Some of the pickled stuff on the side I can do without. This meal was the brightest per diem event this week. May it bring you the same joy.

The ambience was good, casual elegance. The fieldstone wall and gold benches, fountain, view overlooking a pond set a nice note. The 10 $ bento box was full of flavors: cool and crisp, warm, spicy, sweet, umami… The service was professional and pleasant. It was perfect and we will be back again!

First of all. HELLYES. Finally a KBBQ Chungstyle can get behind. Yes, it is not easily searchable on google maps, so just HITITUP at their address. YOUWILLNOTREGRETIT. The«Korean BBQ Sampler For Two» or I think that’s what it was called was BOMB. Everything(including the marinade) is made INHOUSE. Made my stop in the evening, and I have found my KBBQ spot for sure. Only open til 9, but that is plenty of time to get your grub on. Bulgogi, Galbi, SamgyupSal(Pork Belly), Chicken Galbi, etc. all ONPOINT. Hopefully they get their booze license soon for a little more«hooty hoo,» but apparently its expected in January so not too long. It’s not table-side grilling but the food was solid, that it wasn’t that big of a deal. We ordered about $ 150 worth of food, and didn’t leave ANYTHING. I will post before and after photos later but just… all kinds of YES. Prices are not even that bad for what you get my Unilocal buddies. GETYOURSSAM(Lettuce wraps) and eat like K-Royalty :). Try it. Seriously. Worth the drive to EP. Seriously go. Chances are likely you’ll see me there and dropping a decent chunk of my hard earned cash :) They definitely have a regular if this keeps up.

I saw the red striped truck parked outside with the now open sign on my way to work, and I was very curious with what type of food they offer. I stopped by during my lunch break and ordered the bento-style. I went with the bulgogi and it came with some pot stickers, japchae noodles, and a whole lot of side dishes. This was a steal for only $ 10! It was delicious and fulfilling. I definitely will make this a routine stop during work. I can’t wait to try other items next time.
