All the people working there are very sweet, if there’s a bad one they are hiding in the closet. and the manager blond L – n maybe i shouldn’t say her name on her but very very sweet, love her! the food is always good here and the people working there must like there job. keep up the great work and service from tom derosa loves you guys. By the way for the buttheads out there trashing this place, I’m a trained Chef grad from FCI from NYC and yes the food is good and most off without crap in the meat. Try to be happy and don’t take out your S – T on people who are trying to pay their bills and keep a smile on their face. Yes I do work as a chef !

Just grabbed dinner at 930pm STALE, COLDOVERSALTEDCHIPS Excellent guacamole, as usual 2COLD«crispy» chicken tacos. The chicken was dried, hard and COLD. This was a complete waste of $ 13 and the worst meal ever at Chipotle. The girl working the counter was annoyed she had to take out the taco shells after having put them away. Oh, I’m sorry. Did you have to do your job while being paid during normal business hours? Sorry to inconvenience you. After all that has happened with Chipotle, they are lucky they have customers. Despite enjoying their food in the past, a lot of people stay away now. I’ll eat at Chipotle again, but NEVER at the Edgewater location. The staff needs some serious(re)training and the food needs consistency. Perhaps they should close earlier if good quality and service can’t be maintained.

Another location I been coming to for sometime, and like other people have stated this location is hit or miss. It really all depends on what time you go, ive been to multiple locations is other states and they have all said the same thing. Staff is trained to give slightly less portions during heavy meal hours like lunch time, just for the simple fact that they can’t produce the food fast enough to keep wait times down. Most managers have stated during these hours or during any hours ask the server to add more to your order and you won’t be charged. This specific location as previously stated is hit or miss, servers are just high school kids that just really don’t care and there are so many of them running around I don’t think the manager can keep them corralled, Im not sure what her name is but the manager during the day is very nice and helpful. Overall ive never had an issue with the food. Never got sick never had any off flavors. I do recommend this location.

It can be a hit or miss with the service & the food. It depends on who is working & serving you. I’ve had phenomenal food here. I’ve had so-so food here. I’ve had great customer service. I’ve had horrible customer service. But it’s great compared to some of the other locations I’ve been at and especially compared to the other customer service experiences I’ve had in NJ. I might perish if this location ever closed. I’m serious. I need my Chipotle fix. It’s the only faux Mexican food in the area that’s moderately healthy & not smothered in unhealthy cheese. I always get the same veggie mixture and as a veggie lover, it’s difficult to eat at most Mexican places. They do awesome at Chipotle. So I support this location with as much business as my stomach can handle. Please, please support it too. We need this place in our area. We really, really do.

Ok and clearly, Chipotle have been in the news of late for all the wrong reasons. So I signed up for a free burrito by text through one of their recent«win back» promotions. I stopped in today and got a burrito with steak(extra meat), brown rice, black beans, guacamole, and green salsa. I must say, it was pretty darn tasty. I normally find Chipotle to be bland but perhaps, they altered the seasoning ? I noticed this location got a string of low reviews. Perhaps a lack of customers«straighten» things out because my experience was good today. Note to the store: you need to adjust the soda fountain. Both Diet Coke + Coke Zero were flat, it was like drinking syrup :(

Came on a Friday during lunch time(12:30), I was surprised there was no line and the place was not busy at all.(I guess its from all the bad publicity in the news recently). The employee serving the food was really stingy with the food. They also didn’t have the fajita vegetables available. I had to ask for extra rice since she only gave me one small scoop and she barely gave me any steak. You would think they would be trying to go above and beyond with all the bad publicity but I guess this location just doesn’t care.

This chipotle used to be the best and always packed because of the quality of their food. Nowadays though, the employees there are lazy and slow and don’t care that they’re serving you RAW steak. No joke. I’ve had to pick out the meat because it was disgusting how undercooked it was. I get that this is technically a fast food joint, but really? To cook the meat just a few minutes longer won’t throw the entire operation into a tailspin. Oh and apparently if you inquire about the temp of the meat they claim it’s because«everyone likes their steaks medium rare». Let me tell you when the meat is literally still bleeding all over your food and cold in the center, that’s not medium rare my friends. That’s a good borne illness waiting to happen. You’d think with all the food quality concerns going on with chipotle they’d be more conscious of RAW meats.

Clearly the staff here is subpar(in agreement w other reviews). It’s also pretty evident that they are trained to put absolutely the bare minimum ingredients. Want more? That’ll be extra. It’s pretty noticeable. Why go here when you can probably spend an extra buck to get a nice sit down experience at another mex restaurant place? I wonder if management reads this. If so, quit penny pinching on your ingredients!

The Food is good, but the service is not that great. Employees with bad attitude, dirty looks, very rude. I work in the area and I visit this place at least a twice in a week.

I love Chipotle but the trashy woman at the cashier of this location ruins the whole experience, she behaves like she did you the biggest favor in the world for everything you ask for like a sauce or napkin, etc. She makes a face for everything. She wants to toss you out as fast as she can without caring for what you want. What an aggravation for a regular burrito! The restroom is always dirty and out of soap, the restroom door has been broken for months!

To Go Experiences: I have not visited this location since last Spring. I worked locally for years and frequently placed to go orders for myself, my department, or with a group of employees. I can tell you this place gets very, very busy during the lunch hour. As a result, to go orders are the best option. My order was almost always right. Over the years we had a few mishaps but nothing that wasn’t easily resolved or comped on the next order. Our food was typically always ready on the requested pick up time. The reason for my review, for this Chipotle, is that since transferring to another work location, I now must order from the Chipotle at Springfield; which never has my order ready on time. I very much appreciated The Edgewater locations time efficiency. In addition, I love their customer service. Linda is a doll! Every time we order, she made sure to place a call to us(in the following days) to thank us for our order and make sure we were happy with our meals. Rarely did we ever call her back with feedback but it sure put a smile every time any of us heard our voicemails and heard that«Linda from Chipotle» was checking in. Whether she had to do that or not, who knows. I can tell you that the Springfield location has not, so I think it may be particular to Edgewater and their genuine concern to put out great meals and make sure their customers are happy.

Really needs 2.5 stars, but I’ll play nice and round up! I guess being in City Place makes this location popular. The food is good as with mainly all chipotles, non GMO is a plus and the staff can be hit or miss. In all the times I’ve here, they can never seem to get my order right. With trying to watch this figure and keep my protein up! All I require is less/very little rice and double meat! Simple no? FAIL…Less to very little rice ends up being a spoonful. Which is too much for me. Then on to double meat. This location treats it as a half and half order. Double meat = double meat especially since I don’t mind being charged for it. I’m not sure what it is, but I do know the multiple trail run is over. I don’t think I will return here as other locations seem to get it right and I order it the same way. Just might be my misfortune, so I say give em a try and see if you get better results. My brother does well ordering at this location… I still love me some chipotle, but Anywho enjoy folks!

This place is so so. Every Time I come here I always have to ask for extra on everything. I know that chipotle is business and has its way of serving food but for how much they charge there should bigger portion sizes. I am not particularly fond of this chipotle. I came here before and decided to give it a chance again but the same thing happened again. I think the location makes them popular. Not going back unless I’m starving and no other options.

Well you know what they say… Girls love Chipotle and yes I am one of them! I love chipotle!!! Yes it’s Mexican style fast food but it’s good! I love that they serve grass fed beef! They also have introduced the new sofritos which is a mixture of seasoned tofu and plantains and it is good! It’s sooo good that I don’t order the chicken or beef anymore! So vegetarians can come here and leave full and satisfied! I personally like to get chips with my meal and eat it with the bowls! Service is usually fast here! They know exactly how to keep the line moving so don’t let lines to the door Deter you from eating here. Overall for a quick healthy meal this is a great option and alternative to McDonald’s and Burger King! I’m so very glad to have chipotle!

I love Chipotle. I especially love their commitment to quality fresh foods and non-GMO. Beyond that I really love the concept of customizing your meal with the fixings you like. Now that they have tofu sofritas I’m even happier. Service here has always been great. The downside is parking. I typically don’t even try to park near the restaurant but instead enter the parking garage from the movie theatre parking lot and park there and walk the steps up to Chipotle and the other shops. Much easier than having to circle around to find a space up top.

Came here on a rainy Saturday night for quick dinner. The ‘restaurant’ is bright, clean, well-lit and nicely decorated with many bar stools and shared tables. We got in line which moves quickly even on a busy time and I got the chicken burrito with white rice(there’s an option for brown rice! slightly chewier but tastes the same as white cilantro lime rice), black beans, corn, mild AND spicy salsa and lettuce and cheese. BF got the same except with brown rice and fewer freebie toppings. All in all, it was fast, portion was decent(I’ve definitely been to more generous Chipotles before but while it was slightly stingier with rice, there was quite a bit of chicken) and food was fresh(lots of chicken cooking on the grill so you know the meat has not been sitting in the container all day). One slight hiccup was the server moved very quickly when putting toppings on and while I pointed in the general direction of sour cream(i was actually saying lettuce) she had already scooped a big dollop of sour cream onto my burrito. Luckily, she was able to remedy this by using two guac containers to scoop it out. But as a result, some of my corns went away with the sour cream –sad face– and she didn’t replace it. I’d definitely come back again when i have a craving for giant burritos.
