Excellent experience. Dr. Papaiya was very thorough and explained the process and results in during every step of the eye exam. This is a recently opened practice and I wish him the very best for his success. He is very personable. As well, he is a Knicks fan. What could be better?

Great experience! Awesome doctor and staff. You never feel rushed and the Dr explains everything to you. Your eyes are precious and they are treated as such here. I definitely recommend!

I had an appointment around two weeks ago, and it was an awesome experience. The doctor was patient and gave me an eye exam that took about 30 – 45 minutes. The exam was so specific to my needs like an exam I never had before. He is awesome as well as Scarlett who is friendly, sweet and understand your needs. She also helped me pick out frames with her honest opinion. I felt so good about my experience I recommended my Daugther.

Just had an appointment there and thank you sweet jesus for hooking a sister up. I have finally found a good darn eye doctor! The Doctor was patient, gentle and explained everything. I had a great experience here. Dr. Papaiya is very personable and makes you feel at ease. I’m not a huge fan of having my eyes examined but he was very patient and quick. Scarlett was also very helpful when I was looking for frames. She had all my insurance information available to let me know what my best options would be. I’m very happy with my experience and I will be going back!

If you are in search of an eye doctor that cares and takes the time with his patients, LOOK NO FURTHER! My GF and I had the best experience. He takes the time to make sure your prescription is what you need. Not only is he an amazing doctor, but his office staff is great as well. The young lady up front took the time to explain what my insurance covered to the products they offered. I personally have been wearing glasses and contacts since I was 5 years old. They use the best products that will last for years. I highly recommend to make an appointment today! This is a doctor that truly loves his job! I wish all doctors were like him.

I don’t usually review but this was such a great experience I felt like I had to. The doctor was easy going, on time and answered all of my questions. He went through all of my eye health history, tested everything and listened to my concerns. After my visit was complete I ordered contacts. Since they wouldn’t be in for several days they provided me with samples to cover me until they arrived. Overall I experienced great service and care at Edgewater Eyecare.

this is an addition to my previous review. Yesterday, on mothers day, I woke up with pink eye. I left a vm on the Dr’s vm asking if he could call in some antibiotic drops for me, assuming this wouldnt happen until monday. Not only did he call in to check his work messages on monthers day, but he then called 2 different pharmacies for me and got the scrpit filled so I could pick it up late last night
above and beyond ALL the time

I had a great experience here. The service was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. I received a thorough eye exam, more so than any other eye place I have been to. I also received a ton of helping picking out my frames. This was the best experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. I left there feeling so glad that I found this place. I highly recommend going here.

I finally found a doctor who is not only personable and knowledgeable, but also extremely patient. At past optometrists, I always felt my visits to be rushed, where it felt as if the doctors were not fully diagnosing my symptoms properly. For years, I have been experiencing dry and red eye symptoms from wearing contacts. Past doctors completely ignored what I was experiencing and leaned on prescribing me eye drops, which obviously did not help one bit. So the doctor at Edgewater Eyecare spent a significant amount of time trying to find out what the cause is for this. After spending quite some time on it, he recommended a new brand of contacts, which have ultimately done the trick. The thing is, is that he did not just straight away prescribe me the contacts but rather spent loads of time trying to pinpoint the root cause of my symptoms. From that point on, I decided there is no other optometrist I’d want to go to!
Additionally, I needed to purchase a new pair of eyeglasses before I left the country for a couple of months and let me tell you, the eyeglasses/​sunglasses selection at Edgewater Eyecare is awesome! From top brands to inexpensive brands, this place had it all. Not only that, but the interior décor and atmosphere is warm and welcoming. From being able to see the New York City skyline to the beautiful décor in the lobby and rooms, Edgewater Eyecare just felt like a comfortable place to be.
So if you want to deal with a doctor who will give you his full attention and focus, while also being friendly and knowledgeable at the same time, then look no further than Edgewater Eyecare!

The doctor makes this practice! Extremely thorough and very patient in answering all your questions! He is very knowledgable and caring. You will not get this kind of personal care at Lens Crafter! They have an amazing selection of frames and the place is so clean and modern! Love it and highly recommend it!
