I don’t know when it happened, but apparently I’ve come to really like Jimmy’s Egg. Okay, I know when it happened. It was weeks ago when I got a filling amount of biscuits and gravy for like $ 2.99 or something. So now, it’s kind of a go-to for me if I decide to buy breakfast before work. I’ve never eaten inside, so I can’t say much about«ambiance» or service. The lady who took my order over the phone was chipper and nice and I received fast attention when I came in to pick up my order. I imagine sit-down service is generally the same, but that’s just speculation. Thus far, I’ve only had biscuit’y items. See: biscuits and gravy and the biscuit debris. I personally think the cheapo biscuits and gravy is plenty for a filling breakfast, but some days you want cheese and meat so you get the debris for a bit more money. I don’t remember how much, really. Under $ 10, maybe under $ 7. That’s neither here nor there. Apparently they have curly fries? So that’s gonna be next. I love those curly taters.

I have been eating at JE for years and years, they used to be famous for omelettes but. They are not very good anymore, very little meat, veggies, and the cheese! Can’t even find it any more, one thing I noticed setting there drinking coffee, was a lot of people where not finishing there plates, a lot of food being uneaten, including omelettes, and I don’t believe it is because they all where full, but and the home made toast is dry, but there are still some good items on the menu, the garbage can is still great and the classics are great! I’m giving this a medium review, because it going down hill, but service is still good and still clean and it is still a Good place to eat breakfast, and there are a lot of good and great breakfast places around town now ! better change your game, Jimmies Egg, you aren’t the only 1 around anymore!

I have always liked JE, mbut my opinion is changing. I get there just after opening when I go, and I usually have to wait about 10 minutes extra if I order biscuits and gravy. Today, I went there and the cook had overcooked my eggs. I think restaurants should have everything ready when they open, and I think a breakfast cook should be able to handle eggs over easy. The staff was friendly, and the prices are fairly good, but I won’t be back for a while.

It’s a solid place. What can I say. The staff does a good job and puts in effort. I’m just never a fan of diners so it takes a lot to get stars outta me. I’ve been here dozens of times so I wouldn’t take it too hard.

The food is pretty decent. I actually preferred the food way more than I did the service in its entirety– so I believe that’s a good thing, in part. The waitress we were given was rude and inattentive. She was condescending towards myself and my party of two. We asked for condiments and after she gave us an empty bottle, we requested a new bottle. She implied we were lying about the initial bottle being empty. I found that to be incredibly rude and unnecessary. I really tried to enjoy our experience but I just couldn’t. I definitely understand being busy as I very recently used to wait table part time while I was saving extra money but this lady was ridiculously brute. It took her forever to refill our waters and coffees. She brought out the wrong food and questioned whether or not we order what we ordered. Saturday was just not her day and unfortunately that left a horrible reflection of this establishment. I doubt I’ll return.

Good food great prices. The staff is always friendly. They keep the coffee and water glasses toped off. The place is always clean. I have two regular locations that I eat at both are great. I hope they put one closer to home. I think I visit at least once a week.

We had breakfast twice at Jimmy’s during our stay in Edmond. Very friendly atmosphere and food is good. The first visit I had an omelet that was amazing. Second visit I had a skillet which was just ok. On our second visit our service was outstanding. We had Amanda and she made us feel right at home. The place is a little dated and restrooms could use a little attention. Overall, nice place with a great atmosphere and breakfast at a reasonable cost. I will return!

I’m not sure what it is about this place… but my parents love it. I, on the other hand, can think of a dozen other places I’d rather eat breakfast. The restaurant feels a little dive-y. It’s never that clean, you often sit down at the table after its been wiped and it’s still wet from the dirty dish rag. The food is typically good, always hot, but you feel rushed because there isn’t enough seating and always people standing waiting for your booth. The servers are hit and miss, some very good, some very, very bad. The experience is never consistent. When my parents are in town visiting and we go, we never know if it will be a good visit or if we should have gone somewhere else.

I visit here every time I visit Oklahoma City. Pros — Their food is a little more than standard breakfast fare — Staff always makes me laugh & are very good at their jobs — They don’t care if you take your time eating your yummy breakfast — The pancakes are super yummy — The omelets are filled nicely(a nice scatter, not clumped in the middle) — Eggs cooked perfectly — Nice, modern atmosphere — Fantastic value

My favorite spot for breakfast. We like to get here early to avoid the crowds. This place gets busy! We also love to order to go from Jimmy’s Egg on busy weekends. It’s such a great price for the amount of food you get. Their homemade white toast is so delicious!

Jimmy’s Egg is consistently good. I always order the same thing and I always enjoy it; meat lovers omelette, no cheese, egg whites only. It is flavorful and a generous portion even though it’s egg whites only. Jimmy’s has that small town diner feel. There’s a real sense of community when you walk in. The wait staff are courteous, attentive, and genuinely warm. There’s a regular crowd each Friday morning and it just feels like a place you have always known.

The price you pay for the amount of food you get is fantastic. I have never walked out of here hungry! The food is always hot — great service and great atmosphere!

I love Jimmy’s egg. They are always fast. You seat yourself and pay at the front. If you need anything extra the staff is always quite friendly. Just a typical breakfast place, nothing fancy.

Average all across the board. Food was probably a little better than average, service probably a little less. Decent value for the money. I had the meat lover omelet and it was solid. My girlfriend had the breakfast sandwich and it was surprisingly large for the money. I’d eat here again but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Great spot in Edmond for either a super takeout order or a wonderful dining experience. Now I usually call my breakfast orders in for the FAM being that we like to sleep in on Saturday mornings. The omelettes here are phenominal! The selection on breakfast choices are plentiful and the customer service is terrific! My personal favorites however are the delicious turkey sausage patties with the three cheese and spinach egg white omelette. I highly recommend dining in at this location or you can take a page from me and get it to go and sit around all Saturday morning.

I’ve had breakfast several times in the last few months at this Jimmy’s Egg. I rarely get up early to make my own breakfast so its pretty awesome when I do get out of bed early to eat before work. I usually stick with the same things, pancakes, a fried egg & bacon. The service has always been attentive and keeps my coffee cup full, which is extremely important to me. There wasn’t anything about it that blew my mind, but I always left satisfied, very full and probably over-caffeinated. Maybe one of these days I’ll branch out & go for one of their omelets or something unusual. For now, I’m a simple man when it comes to breakfast. Pancakes, bacon & coffee. The only issue I can speak of is three of the chairs I attempted to sit in, had one leg shorter than the others. No bueno.

Not good. I had a Mexican omelette which was supposed to have salsa on top. The omelette had no taste, except the«salsa» which actually just seemed to be a massive amount of cholula hot sauce dumped on top. It wasn’t clean, the food was bland, and the service wasn’t good either. Go to IHOP instead.

I ordered an omelet with tomatoes, turkey sausage, and swiss cheese. my omelet finally comes out and it has no cheese at all. so when tell the server he takes it back to fix the error and brings me back the same omelet with cheese slices melted on top of it after it was obviously just put in the microwave to melt the cheese. very poor judgement on the part of the server and cook.

This place is ok. There’s nothing that really separates it from other breakfast places; like iHop. I ordered the Eggs Benedict– and wasn’t too impressed by it. I’m willing to try it again and order something different– but I won’t get my hopes up.

If you want a great breakfast with a classic diner feel, then Jimmy’s Egg is the place. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Without a doubt it’s my favorite place to get breakfast. Best of all, it’s super cheap. My family of three can usually get out for less than $ 15 total, and one time our total ticket was only $ 9.85. Rock bottom, baby! They’re only open through lunch, so don’t expect to hit the place up for dinner.
