Subway

We were looking forward to getting a great sandwich here today, but that wasn’t going to happen. As we were walking into the shop, the employee, who was sitting at the tables playing on his phone, jumped up and ran behind the counter. He immediately grabbed some gloves and the tissues for the sandwich WITHOUT washing his hands. Having worked in the food industry for over 15 years, this is the most basic food safety violation. Idk how long he sat there, whether he ran his fingers thru his hair, chewed on his nails, or even where his phone has been.
Some retraining is needed. But, unfortunately I don’t think we will return to find out.

Order buffalo ranch chicken! Great sandwhich, super nice guy working the graveyard shift. I can’t believe it is 24 hours! We are a 2^nd shift family, hub gets done between 11pm & 3am. We usually get stuck with fried Jack in the Box. Never again!!!

I saw a Subway ad for a steak and egg sandwich with jalapenos and tomatoes. I thought that doesn’t sound half bad. I suddenly got hungry this morning and decided to try it out. I go to Subway every couple of years but I’m rethinking that, now. The sandwich maker was polite and helpful. She made sure to get the order right. The sandwich as pretty good and reasonably priced at $ 4.93 (six inch) after tax. I like that you can also get lunch items at breakfast time and vice versa. I like that you can get food quickly without fried food grease. This may become my fast food breakfast standby.

This subway is closer to my house, but when I get the craving for a good sub, I drive the extra couple miles down the road to the 196^th subway. The few times that I have been desperate enough to go to the subway, i have been very disgusted. As soon as I walked in the door, the doorway rug was filthy as well as the floors around the tables. Then while ordering there were fingerprints all over the glass between the customer and the food. It was nasty. The woman was very slow, and the line was showing how slow things were moving. After we got our sandwhiches made, the woman pushed it down to wrap it, and made it flat and limp. Then the drink station was a whole nother story. There was sticky soda all over the counter, the lids were all over the place, and there was straw trash everywhere. We were planning on dining in, but after seeing the filthy tables we chose to just go home and eat. On our way out our shoes were sticking to the floor because of the soda on the floor around the pop counter.
GROSS. I refuse to go to this place. I wouldn’t even give it a one star if I didnt have to.

While I love Subway this particular shop is always slow, and never seems to get orders quite right.
Also the store always appears to to be a bit cluttered. I don’t think i’ll be returning here any time soon.

For a subway, this was very very slow service. We had a line out the door at 8 pm, one person doing everything and one person just sitting around talking. They squashed the sub down with the palm of their hand while wrapping it, so it was very… mutilated.
They also don’t honour the ‘All foot longs are $ 5′ promotion. They do limited subs at $ 5, but not all like every other subway.
Meh. They just don’t seem to care there. go to another one somewhere else or even to a better shop.
