Sweet bookstore, a great selection of books, gifts, cards. The folks in the coffee shop are super nice, and make a great latte. Highly recommend spending time in this local shop.

Great food, very very slow service. 25 minutes to get a coffee drink. I had eaten most of my meal by the time the rest of my group had been served. Woman at espresso machine rather unpleasant and unapproacheable. definitely on mountain time.

This place is super quaint. The cutest little bookstore ever. They have really amazing crepes and even better smoothies. It’s a great little place to hang out or you can grab it on the go and take a walk along the bike path next to the river right behind the store.

Nice surprise getting a late breakfast here. I got the banana crepes and my boyfriend got a breakfast croissant. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very quick and friendly. We wanted to use wifi but it was down when we got there, but the lady working the book counter was kind enough to come to our table to tell us when it was working again. Big breakfast lovers may not enjoy the menu as much. It is rather limited, but what you would expect from a small kitchen in a bookstore. At least what they are doing, they’re doing well!

I hate to say something negative about such an adorable bookstore, but honestly, I feel like the staff could be friendlier. I just got this vibe of annoyance from most of the people that work there, especially the café area. I get it, you guys have crepes on lock down. That’s great. But the chicken in my crêpe was inedible, and I was so intimidated by the person behind the counter that I kept my mouth shut. Also, please be sure you let them know you want your coffee togo and not in a mug. God forbid you let them know after they make it that’s not how you wanted it. An extremely unconvincing«sorry» had me ready to bail asap.

Excellent book selection. Friendly staff. Crepes, salads, smoothies and coffee all on point. I make an effort to visit every time I’m in the Valley. Great local business to support. Pro tip: Skinny B is the most delicious green smoothie you’ll ever set taste buds on.

Went today to purchase a free reading book for my daughter while she’s in study hall. We couldn’t find what we were looking for so we found some assistance. The cashier told us that the store didn’t have the book we were looking for so she asked if we would like to order the book. We said yes and the cashier told us the book would be about 3 days and she would call us once it was in! Super helpful. My daughter and I decided to try the crepes in the little café in the back of the bookstore. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and my daughter had a crêpe w/bananas & chocolate syrup! Both delicious! Will shop & eat there again! Recommend for everyone that loves to read and eat! Free Wi-Fi as well, just need to ask for password!

Staff here are super friendly. I usually order the Rainbow Fish on buckwheat crêpe. It is delicious. But recently I believe the quality of this dish has gone down. The salmon doesn’t taste as good as it used to and there is a little too much cream cheese. So depending on your taste you might want to ask for less cream cheese. This place doesn’t have a lot of tables and many tourists stop in, so be prepared and grab a table as soon as you can. Food/coffee prep is on the slower side so be prepared to wait for your order. The café strives for quality and is pretty popular. The wait isn’t too bad. The Skinny B smoothie is nice but the mango and citrus smoothie is better.

We love stopping here for coffee on our way through. My cappuccino today was perfectly made. When I stop again I’ll take time to browse the bookstore as well, I wasn’t able to today.

I love this place. The crepes are delicious and the coffee is pretty decent as well. I generally have the grilled cheese crêpe and tomato soup every time I’m here because it is amazing. They use Gruyère cheese in the crêpe and no cream in the soup and it is delicious. As far as the bookstore goes, this is a great place for books as well as gifts. They have a great selection of Colorado authors, cookbooks, children’s books, and travel books. Their merchandise is definitely higher end and while it is marked up quite a bit, this is to be expected considering its location. Anyway, I love the Bookworm and I’ll definitely be a customer for a long time.

My first time here for lunch. Great layout. Very good food(get the rainbow fish crêpe — yum). I was just taken aback by the ‘tip’ line when I paid with a credit card. I gave the girl a tip thinking it was there for a reason so they must work for it… right? Wrong. We had to wipe down our table to sit there — I broke away from my client to pick up our food and coffee — even though they weren’t very busy — the girl just kept yelling my name. Finally — when we were done — we bussed our own table… hmmmm…tip? Not the next time!

This place is an Edwards institution at this point and really anchors the Riverwalk complex, driving lots of foot traffic and helping people discover everything the funky little open-air mall has. It has to be tough to be an indie bookstore in the instant technology we live in today. Practically an entire generation only knows point, click, now, cheaper, yet the Bworm thrives. It must be doing something right! Likely, many things. The place is always bustling and I think it’s transcended«bookstore» into«community space.» People working away on labtops, informal meetings, lunch with friends, study sessions, and everything else is going on here. Very open café floor plan with outdoor seating, too. The book selection is really well-curated. The store is in-tune with the tastes of its customers and lots of personal selections and inviting merchandise displays. I always check out the Staff Picks and love the little notes from the staff that follow certain titles around the store. GREAT kids section. If I had kiddos then we would hunkering down here. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and attentive. They always have some good suggestions regardless of your tastes and if they don’t, they’ll refer you to a colleague whose book interests are more in-line with yours. Coffee is delicious. Staff is friendly and prompt. It gets megabusy sometimes and the workers never seem flustered. Great variety of crepes. I feel like there’s always something new on the menu or some kind of daily special. All in all, a really welcoming place that feels good to visit and support. Wish I made it here more than twice or so per year.

Nice café/bookstore! I had the jungle crêpe and my girlfriend had the Machiavelli crêpe. Both of which were delicious. The staff was super friendly and the wait for food wasn’t bad considering how busy they were. My only issue, and it’s a tiny one, is when you order your food, they take your name but when your food comes up they just call what you ordered. That can be a bit confusing, especially when there are a lot of people who could have potentially ordered the same item. Overall, really nice place and would definitely consider trying out!

TL;DR: A rarity in this age of the internet and mega-chain coffee shops — A real independent bookstore with a top-notch café. We pop in here to get coffee, crepes or smoothies whenever we are passing through Edwards. Their menu items are all named after books like the«Clockwork Orange» smoothie(Carrot, pineapple, banana, orange juice), the«Huck Finn» crêpe(PB, huckleberry jam, powdered sugar) or the«Scarlet Letter» salad(turkey, green apples, brie, cranberries). Almost everything is fairly priced and the quality is far superior to other offerings in the«River Walk» shopping center it is nested in. There is a pretty standard book & magazine selection, although a friend commented that they only stock«Leftist estrogen-soaked magazines» inferring that there is a glaring absence of topics like outdoor sports, computers, etc. which would be of interest to male readers. We’ll be back, and I urge you to check it out if you ever find yourself in the area and craving a Vitamin-C laden smoothie or some regional hi-caffeine coffee(or even a «Leftist estrogen-soaked magazine»).

We were traveling and my kids had raced through the books they brought with them. What a treat to find the Bookworm! A wide range of book selections for all ages, yummy crepes for breakfast and lunch, and great coffee. Helpful, friendly staff, too. We ended up visiting twice during our four days in town. The only thing that would make it better is a used book section; I love browsing through old books.

Nice little coffee shop and book store. It has free wifi. Get the machavelian crêpe. I frequent here when I visit some friends in Edwards. This is the perfect place to catchup on work with nice latte or cup of tea.

What a great find among all the high mountain towns. Large bookshop with plenty of space and a first rate café, complete with yummy food! I could see myself being stranded on the mountain for couple days and being banished to Bookworm and the surrounding shops. It does lie within a strip mall of sorts, but I think you’ll like what you find there. The people(staff and customers) were friendly, which is always nice. I was there during the December school holiday period, it was entertaining hearing all the returning locals run into people they know — very real. I’m a fan.
