Good street tacos. Margaritas okay. Good service. Be sure to try jalapeño grits. Good prices and healthy.

Best tacos in Edwards… if not Colorado. The Carne Asado Tacos are what to order. Great Bar and Drinks. Great place!

Great food, lot of small tacos, etc so you can try a bunch of different things. But my favorite thing was the Jalapeño Grits. I could have ordered 5 of the grits… they were AMAZING… I also advise the rajas + crema + maize taco’s as they were quite good too… and like I said, they’re tiny, so you can try lots of different ones.

Decent prices for a mountain town! Really enjoyed the chicken mole taco and liked the idea of the jicama taco but they were out of it! Chicken mole can be tough to make just right so I was pleasantly surprised! Bummed all they had was tequila for alcohol but it’s a taco joint so I can’t complain! Go check it out!

Very good food and nice service. Was nervous to try them after reading some of the reviews but was impressed with their food. Our waitress kept our waters full and was attentive. Great experience.

The last time I ate here I vowed never to return but some friends suggested it for dinner tonight and I consented. I was burned again, the third bad meal in a row so it’s clearly time to Unilocal about it. They opened their doors serving one taco per order with two tortillas, people complained. They then spread out the tortillas and put slightly more filling to make people think they were getting two tacos and people were happy with it even though they knew they were getting duped. Now they are serving one taco, one tortilla per order. They reduced the price by maybe $ 1, but why? They’re served on 4 inch tortillas for crying out loud it’s not exactly what you would call a meal. The idea before was that you would order two or three flavors of taco and leave satisfied but now you’d have to order like 5 or 6 and there are only like eight flavors to begin with! The tacos are okay, the rajas is especially tasty but the carnitas and the asada meats are usually very dry. Every time I come in here it feels like it’s everybody’s first night on the job and I’ve never seen the same face twice at the FOH. Tonight was no exeption. It took 15 mins for anyone to notice us at the door. It took 20 mins to get a table(understandable, it was busy). It took 45 mins to get someone to come to our table(after I sought someone out) to greet us, refill our water, and take our order. We were being exceptionally chill because we were enjoying each others company but three of our five are pregnant so flying off the handle could have happened at any second. Reminders had to be given for drinks to be brought and when I asked if there were chips or something to snack on since we’d waited such a ridiculously long amount of time she asked me if I wanted to order an appetizer, of which we’d already ordered two. Hint not taken. The food came, lacking the aforementioned extra taco per order and was warm but not hot. The tortillas were chewy and didn’t seem fresh and the queso was tire rubber. Don’t even try to scoop it with a chip because that chip will be a gonner for sure. The server asked how everything was and I let her know I was very dissatisfied but acknowledged that it wasn’t entirely her fault. Again she didn’t get the hint and none of the items on our check were discounted. People say this location is cursed for restaurants but honestly with places like this filling the space it’s no surprise they don’t last. The place finally got a sign a few months ago and I feel like its breathing its last breath. It can’t possibly survive the next off season unless the owner is some trust funder who doesn’t care about profits. I don’t want to complain without offering a solution so if the owners read this then here it is, for what it’s worth, the advice of a food lover and neighbor with 8 years of experience in casual and fine dining: 1. Teach your staff grace, cop to your faults right away and people will forgive you, «I’m sorry we are super busy and understaffed tonight here are some chips to tide you over and I apologize in advance if it takes me a few minutes to get to you» 2. Offer a special of the night or a rotating taco special, so that the very limited menu doesn’t get boring 3. Reconsider the serving size for the salsa sampler, it’s too small and hard to dip the chip in that dish 4. Do away with that wretched queso altogether, or serve that tex mex queso that everybody really wants anyway 5. Go back to the drawing board with the quesadilla. The last one I had had about 2 cups of that flavorless white cheese and a few lumps of meat. It was awful. 6. Offer drink specials and happy hours, you have a great bar, put it to good use! 7. During the season do a late night weekend menu to grab all of the drinkers coming from other restaurants whose kitchens have closed. Street tacos and a night cap at 12am? Yes please!

Not the traditional boring mexican restaurant — fun cocktails, yummy ceviche and tasty tacos! Very funky and fun. Our kids love the bottled soda as a special treat. Unfortunately no coffee to go with the chocolate dessert… so be warned.

Great balance of savory and sweet! We had a couple kinds of ceviche and a variety of tacos. All were wonderful!

Tacos were tasty, but when they say two tacos they really mean one small one with two tiny tortillas under it, a little deceiving in my opinion :/

Very Yummy Tacos! A bit pricey if you’re starving, but PERFECT for a meet up with friends. Each taco selection offers something great! Veggie & Rajas tacos are A++ and if they still have it, the mexican corn is so exciting and yummy! Great place in Edwards! and fun atmosphere!

Delicious street tacos. Unique comfortable atmosphere. They just started a happy hour special, every night from 4 – 6, tacos are only $ 2 so that’s $ 1 a taco. Check their Facebook page to make sure they still have that special. Been here a few times and they haven’t let us down. Hard to find good food at a great price in this valley. Put this place on your approved restaurant list for sure.

Have been here numerous times, and never had a bad experience. Food is great, must try the hatch chile tacos, and the guac is awesome.

I think this place needs new management. Walked in and didn’t know what to do, no hostess. Since there was no one to even say hi I took the liberty of picking up a menu my self. Apparently there was only two servers and by the time the tall gentleman with a shaved head come over I knew what I wanted to eat. I asked if I could sit outside in patio and his response was«I don’t know if we will be able to serve you outside because we are super busy» I looked around and the restaurant was half full or half empty and in my mind I thought You can serve me inside but not outside that’s odd. I still took a seat in patio and waited, waited and waited finally just left to a near by place called Agave and had a great Mexican Dinner. Can’t say anything about the food because apparently the staff there can only serve six to 8 tables at a time on a Tuesday night.

As much as I hate to write a bad review this place deserves it — Strange drink selection as even in Mexico you can get wine … food was not good and these folks know meat, server had a bad night spilled limited selection of drinks once they finally got to us. and then the weak poorly made food — I lived in Texas for many years and this is not the place to eat borderlike food!

I loved the tacos! Very reasonable price. You must have some churros for dessert! Be sure to try the Chupacabra cocktail, it’s a spicy citrus tequila cocktail!

Such slow service we left, no hostest, went to the bar and no one talked to us. Bummer. street tacos should take 5 minutes. Smelled good though too bad.

A full house on a Friday night with a good atmosphere and a hard working crew at Tacorico. Very reasonably priced with a wide variety to street tacos. The flan was excellent for dessert. We’ll go back.

Wonderful addition to the valley! Great ambiance, great drinks, authentic tacos. Think elevated taco truck with killer service. The prices of the cocktails are shockingly low. We are huge fans of Eat Drink and Dish and Cut. This is owned and operated by the same team.
