We stopped by here for a quick breakfast on our way out to the desert. Conveniently there are two drives throughs and a walk up window. There are several outdoor tables if you want to eat on site. I ordered the large three meat burrito with potatoes. The food was ready pretty quickly. First, I did not need the large. It is massive. It also tastes very good. I enjoyed every bite of the half I able to finish. You get so much food for your money here. The value is hard to top. Next time I am in the area I will have to stop to try their burgers. I am amazed at how busy the McDonalds across the street was. This places gives you better food and a better value.

I love the food so much better then the place across. Supporting your local business as well so why not? The burgers are good the bread is always nice and toasty, the JR burger is amazing when you want a quick bite instead of the dollar items across hahaha. Tip of you don’t like pickles ask them to hold the pickles.

I love their burgers specially their fries i might even think is as good as in n out or better but still in question But just like the other reviewers they are right the cashiers and the girls look like they need D*#K they look mean ass fuck and always have a face like if u don’t like your job lady get another one or got to school for a better career like seriously but regardless they don’t make the food taste bad to me but i can picture other people not loving the food cause of their attitude or faces and to the owner talk to your girls they might be you’re downfall in cliental

Sunday, just now. Ordered 5 hamburgers which was suppose to be on sale and a nacho cheese fries. My change is 6.61 from a 20 dollar bill. How is that possible!!! Damn lady short changed my ass and gave a stupid look when I first handed her a credit card. Could have just told me cash or debit only without that annoying look on your face! I know you guys are busy but get a new cashier that have basic math skills!!!

There’s the chili cheese fries and there’s the burger. Let’s start with a burger: it’s plain. The patty is incredibly thin, so thin that it’s dwarfed by the other ingredients. I spent most of the time looking for the patty, but mostly tasted plain bun and lettuce. Get the double next time, maybe? The chili cheese dries were the . Plenty of good chili, crispy fries, good cheese ratio. Just what the doctor ordered(if your doctor was trying to kill you by giving you diabetes).

So delicious! Dropped by this place because of the reviews and definitely was NOT disappointed. Tastes just like innout(maybe better) and cheaper! We wanted to catch breakfast and get a burrito but it ends at 11AM. Still very happy with what we got(cheeseburger and monster fries) and would come back again to try other things on the menu.

Deal: Every Wednesday and Sunday, hamburgers are $ 1.39! What a deal! :) Location/Parking: Located in a plaza across the street from McDonalds and parking is plentiful! Ambiance/Seating: The burger joint looks almost exactly like In N Out! There’s only outside seatings and the patrons that go here are the friendliest. They’ll give you the ins and outs of what is good to eat and food items to stay away from. Service: Love the service! Seemed like the staffers like what they do. Food came out at a decent time. You might have to wait a little longer when they get busy. Food: 4 items you should try when you come. 1) $ 3.89…small Big John breakfast burrito(bacon, ham, and sausage). According to Eaterla, this breakfast burrito is rated #2 in Los Angeles. I actually liked it. Had a lot of flavor, less greasy, and didn’t fall apart easily. Make sure you try it with salsa. If you want less meat, the egg & cheese burrito($ 1.94) will be the next best thing. It comes with your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. 2) Regular hamburger: Come on Wednesdays or Sundays for their $ 1.39 burger special. Almost taste like a In N Out burger and make sure you ask them to toast the bun a little longer. 3) Monster fries: Similar to animal fries at In N Out, but instead of slice cheese they use shredded

Hands down, the best breakfast burrito in El Monte. The burgers, shakes, and hand-breaded onion rings are delicious. The only downside are the generic, frozen fries.

If you’re looking for a great alternative to In N Out, but with the best onion rings you’ll find. Art makes them by hand daily. They have a bigger menu to choose from. Those burger are good. Instead of animal fries, they have Monster Fries. They do protein style on the burgers. It’s good stuff. On Wednesday’s and Sunday’s they do $ 1.39 burgers. I love it! Why to go Art! Woo hoo! Oh ya, you have got to try the boysenberry shake, it’s great.

I really like the boysenberry shakes. I even went to the drive-thru just to order that. They were so nice that they walked to my car while I was still at the speaker to give me my shake and take my payment. I appreciate that they didn’t make me wait. I tried the cheeseburger and the monster fries and they were just okay; similar to but not as good as In-n-out. Maybe I should have ordered an extra toasted bun. Also, I just didn’t care for the sogginess of the fries. This could also be affected by the fact that they cooled down too much before I could eat these at home. Both times I’ve been here the wait is not long and the employees are super friendly. They get an extra star for service. I’ll probably come back just for shakes.

Cheap and fast. Cash or Debit Card only. Their burgers do tasted like In n Out burgers. However, patties were drier. Yummy monster fries.

Spectacular burger joint in El Monte, right by the 10 freeway. This little place resembles In-N-Out Burger, just with better service at equally comparable prices. I ordered the 2 Double Cheese Burgers with grilled onions(I added Pastrami on one of them), 2 Chili Cheese Dogs, and 2 orders of Onions Rings. All for only $ 22!!! I was able to treat my coworkers without putting a huge dent in my wallet. The Double CheeseBurger was perfectly cooked when you bite into your burger its well done and still juicy. Cooked to perfection. Adding Pastrami was just me being a little fatty, but it was honestly so filling! I ended up finishing the burger, because it was too tasty and I kept staring at it. The Chili Cheese Dogs was great, I believe its a polish hot dog, considering the texture of the dog was a bit tougher than usual. The over flavor it was delicious. It came with grilled onions and mustard too. Onions Rings came with a overwhelming generous portion! SO many ONIONRINGS! I love it! The Onion rings we crisp and sweet. Not too oil which makes it perfect, considering I went to Fat Burger the previous day and received a bag of oil drenched onion rings.

This is my second time eating here. We came here last Sunday and found out about their $ 1.29 burger(just 39 cent extra to add cheese) deals on Wed and Sun which is great! Their burger tastes almost like in n out, may taste better in my opinion. Chili cheese fries is the bomb! This place instantly became one of my fav burger spots after my first try:)

Wanted to get something quick and easy and Art’s seemed like I would fit the bill. This location is on valley blvd right next to the 10 freeway, so it makes for easy access. There are three burger places within a stones throw including McDonalds and Tommy’s. I decided on this place and they even had a $ 1.29 Wednesday special for their burgers. The best part is the burgers were made fast and they were delicious. It really does appear that these are similar to In n Out in that they toast the bun and the meat portion seems to be about the same size. The burgers come with their special sauce, lettuce, tomato and they ask if you want onions. The bun was really well toasted and the fresh onion made the burger even crunchier. They have two drive through lanes for quick service. If I am in the area, I will definitely swing by Art’s for a tasty burger.

Pros: *Yummy food(comparable to InNout) *cheaper prices *fast lines or little wait compared to others *big portions Cons: Nothing yet After discovering this hidden gem year and half ago, we stopped gong to InNout whenever we are in the area. Friendly and fast service! My favorite is Big John with potato, monster fries with less sauce, all the shakes, and the burgers. Met Art today 5÷29÷15 and he is super sweet! I wanted to thank him for this awesome place. You can tell he takes pride for his creation.

In n Out taste with more options, more deals, less crowds, and larger fries. They are pretty quick. There was almost no line when we went, and we ordered a lot of food. It was ready in less than 10 mins. Wednesday and Sunday have $ 1.29 hamburger deal. It’s almost identical to In n Out. My bread was slightly toastier, and the party was slightly less fatty. The Monster Fries are good. The put it in a soup size bowl and cover it with spread sauce. It’s not crispy, but you can’t really expect it to be. We also got the Pepper Belly Fritos. The Fritos stay crunchy. I liked it better than the fries. We tried the bosenberry shake. It was a bit mild on bosenberry. It tastes similar to In n Outs vanilla shake, but it’s not as thick. The onion fries were average. The breading was coming off, but otherwise it was good. The steak sandwich needed a bit more marinade. It’s larger than the other burgers and sanwiches, but I probably wouldn’t order it again. The chili dog was okay. It tastes better than Weinersnitzel chili dogs, but not as good as upscale chili dogs. The dog had bite to it, like a real dog. Overall, there are several reasons to try Arts if you are in the area. In many ways it may be an In N Out alternative, or many might prefer Arts because of the options. Don’t order a massive amount of food, like I did. I gained so much weight from that one meal.

$ 1.29 burgers on Wednesdays and Sundays!(& only +3x cent more for a cheeseburger) The standard burger comes with a thin patty, onion, lettuce, tomato, thousand island dressing and a toasty bun. Super affordable, great taste, fresh, and very comparable to In and Out. The monster fries are similar to animal fries from In and Out. It’s cheaper and the portion is bigger here. It comes with the infamous thousand island dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, grilled chopped onions and tomatoes all on top of crispy hot fries. Each bite had the perfect ratio of toppings to fries. Excellent alternative to In and Out. And I really want to try their breakfast burrito next! *Be sure to check your bill before paying. We were charged for another person’s meal and ended up paying almost $ 5 more. They were nice enough to correct it for us right there and then. Just double check. *Debit or cash only.

Burgers are similar to In and Out and the restaurant prepares food in a similar manner but has a much larger selection. My favorites are the double cheese burger, pastrami with cheese and onion rings. I order my double cheese with extra veggies and pickles. Pastrami is stacked high and dipped for extra juiciness and flavor. The onion rings are made fresh and are not the frozen ones. I have not tried all the menu but you won’t be disappointed with these three items.

3.5 stars I’ve been longing to come back for Art’s but this time, I was disappointed. The burgers are still good and comparable to In N Out. I also got the monster fries. The toppings were good but the fries were over saturated in the special sauce. The fries were not cooked well.
