This place is a joke. 95% of their machines are either broken or barely functioning. Went on a Friday around 5pm and it was not very crowded. It’s pretty dirty and I wouldn’t trust the food. I am surprised that they are still in business. Compared to other locations, such as Monrovia and Pasadena, this location should be condemned, lol. On a brighter note, the employee at the front stamping everyone in was very friendly. He actually stood out to me. He was engaging children with his quirkiness and looked as if he really enjoyed his job. Moral of the review is I will not be back.

Love the majority of the staff here. Brought my team here and they were very accommodated. Only place I let my kids go crazy and I could feel some kind of relaxation knowing that they are strict on kid safety. And their salad is awesome…

Where to start first??? This place is dirty, pizza is like cardboard, staff is rude. The bathrooms were horrid. There was trash all over the floor in the game area. The pizza was so dry and gross we couldn’t eat it. The salad bar was disgusting. The spinach was soggy. My niece and nephew kept complaining that the games kept taking their tokens but it didn’t work. The staff is slow and looked miserable. No smile during entry. Unfriendly at the register. No one wanted to help when the games were not working. We started asking for assistance after different numerous games kept taking our tokens. When the lady brought the pizzas to us, we said thank you but she just walked away. Also, this is located in El Monte so the people their was ghetto all around. The chucke cheese in Monrovia is much better.

This place was disgusting tonight on a Saturday. Restrooms were filthy, salad bar was not stocked and when it was, it was just thrown in. Found a mosquito in the salad I was eating. The pizza is gross and greasy. I counted 5 games that were out of order in the toddler section. I accept that any family restaurant is more difficult to keep up, but the conditions of how much trash was on the floor, games looking dirty, and the gross food was unacceptable. The staff was trying, but they just didn’t have enough people to maintain a decent place. I left wanting to call the health department!

I must say, this location really surprised me. Took my Goddaughter on a date night here to enjoy some pizza and games.(she also demanded fries and an ice cream) This location is well lit inside, clean, and the staff are pretty much all friendly and always available when you need them. Ordered a medium pizza, fries, and two drinks, along with thirty tokens. Pizza and fries did not take long to come out, and tasted consistent from what I remember the pizza tasting like. Pizza came out warm, fries were cooked well, they remembered the side of ranch, and I also had a representative come to us and ask if we needed anything else; as she took away our trash. The rides/games were all pretty clean with no grease or food marks as some other locations. I would definitely come back to this location with the little one again.

We came to celebrate my nieces 3 year old birthday. All I can say is run and don’t look back. First of all the pizza is not good. It’s extremely greasy and taste like cardboard. The staff is rude as we came in the front door. They need to trained the personal to treat their customer with a smile

What really matters is that my daughter who just turned 6 really likes it here. CEC came out twice while we were here. He gathered the kids, danced with them, and gave out free tickets. Now for the review. Rosa the manager on duty checked the people in/out and covered the cash register at the same time. A young man stood at the counter to redeem your tickets for a few seconds then disappeared to the back. The manager brought him out to the check in/out table. When the manager left, he stayed a few seconds then disappeared to the back. The young lady stocking the salad bar and bring the food order out to the tables really needs better hair grooming. Her hair was a mess. When one goes to work, one should be neatly groomed, representing the company. When we were ready to leave, there was no one to check us out. Manager was busy at register. When I unhooked the restraining rope myself, she came running to check us out. I figured by unhooking the rope, I would get a faster responce. Bottom line, the kids had fun.

It is always good to call in advance to make reservations. Staff told me that this place is normally more packed on Friday and weekends. We went during 5 – 8 p.m. on a Monday night and there wasn’t a lot of people. According to this same staff who I was talking to, this is the smallest branch around the area. The other ones nearby are located in Monrovia and Pasadena. This place wasn’t too hard to find but its parking spots are small. The parking white lines are very close to each other, that’s why I chose to park a little further on the side. The layout of this restaurant is very simple. Salad bar, kiddy playground and gifts redemption counter are located on your left hand side as you walk in. Advanced machines and arcades are located on your right hand side. As you walk further in toward the right hand side, that’s the main dining room where Chuck E Cheese will show up. Our party size included 10 kids and 15 adults. We ordered pizzas, chicken wings and a few jars of soda. I like the wings the most because they were really tender and flavorful. The play room there is not as big comparing to the ones you find inside the shopping centers. The cleanliness of the restaurant was average. I said that because floor around the salad bar was sticky. Staffs’ services were okay. Although I must give credits to the staffs working at the department where you redeem the tickets for gifts. They were very patient to wait for the kids to make their final decisions, as these kids always change their minds last sec. The long hair young lady who was in charge of our table was really helpful though, forgot her name =/ The REAL Chuck E Cheese, on the other hand, disappointed me and many others because he was not very active the whole time since he came out from his changing room. Literally, he stood there the whole time! Last year when I was here, the other Chuck E Cheese was all kissing and hugging the birthday girl. I understand that it must be hot to put on that huge costumes but please, these kids were all jumping and screaming when they saw you, should you not show them a bit more energy? As included in the package, the birthday boy gets to go into this colorful container-like machine. His mission is to catch as much tickets as possible while these tickets are flying all over within. That was good because you would hear all the kids cheering and screaming, again, «No! there! Yeah! Aw…» etc. Another exciting moment was when all the tokens and tickets dropped from this small Chuck E Cheese string-pulling piñata. Restroom was fairly clean. I thought the pizzas could be better. Explore around and you might find something you enjoy playing.

This Chuck E Cheese did not have enough personnel. Two out of the four ticket counters were broken. There was only one cashier to take food orders. There was a wait at the prize counter because there was no worker available. There was also no one on the game floor to deal with broken machines. The ticket counter we used counted up to 100, then it counted down. When we finally found a waiter, he told us to tell the prize counter. The lady at the prize counter told us to redeem the rest of the tickets at a working ticket counter, then go back to get there prize. When we went back to get the prize, it was a different lady who didn’t want to give the correct amount of tickets. It was such a hassle! When we left, they are supposed to check the numbers that they stamped on us to make sure we aren’t taking someone else’s kid home. The lady just let us out. Since the price of games and food are the same at any chuck e cheese’s, it is best not to go to this one.

Brought my nephew and niece here on Monday– Thought it would be empty since I figured people would be home watching the Rose Parade. Nope I was wrong. There was like 3 people working. So needless to say there were lines to get in(cuz of the hand stamp), to order food, and to redeem tickets. It was the same girl trying to do 3 jobs. I felt bad for her. Food took quit awhile to come out — we just got a large pepperoni. Place is clean for the most part. I didnt like the shady people that were lurking around our table while I took the kids to go play games. We had left our boxed left over pizza on the table with our drinks. I’ve taken them to several CEC in OC and never seen an actual CEC come out to take pics with the kids. This one had an ACTUALCEC come out. Kuddos to this location and then he throws out a bunch of tickets on the floor — we were able to grab 25 of them lol. Pizza was horrible as like the other locations — I would much prefer the $ 5 pizza from Little Caesars.

#360 It’s about time someone added some more verbiage to this Chuck E Cheese’s business page, no? Dropped by this past Sunday to celebrate my cousin’s 5th birthday; otherwise, I would never have ventured through their doors. Once we walked in, you could hear the children in high gear, running around, yelling and shouting. Nobody was there to help us, so we decided to just let ourselves in. We walked straight to the party room and got there just in time to hear the manager try to figure out prices for the birthday party. He wasn’t the brightest fellow and it took him a little while to figure out what was best. Eventually, he offered us 2 free pitchers of soda along with our 8 pizzas and hundreds of tokens. My uncle decided to take his offer. I will say though, I’m surprised Chuck E Cheese’s doesn’t have party packages for its guests. It doesn’t make sense for someone to have to buy 8 combos or 8 separate pizzas at $ 11.99 each. Meh. Anyways, the pizzas weren’t the best obviously, but their vegetarian pizza was more impressive than the others. Made sense though since it cost $ 15.99. Our server was totally on top of things and staggered the pizzas. She also refilled our sodas without any of us having to ask. We had a large party(50 ppl) but she maneuvered her way around easily and picked up trash where she could. When it came time for Chuck E Cheese to come out, she also did her best to hype up our introverted Asian kids. The mouse itself was a bore and didn’t really seem into it. Regardless, the kids enjoyed the presentation. As for the games themselves, I actually liked them. I liked how every one cost a mere token; though many of them don’t reward you with tickets. Some of the games require skill and I helped out with those. But, as for the others, I just let them do what they could. The prizes are totally not worth it, but the kids seemed to like their trinket prizes. They also round up your ticket count just to make things easy. So, if you have 157 tickets, you get rounded up to 160. Nice of them, I say. Plus, you can always throw in a couple of bucks to upgrade your prize choices — 1 cent is equal to 1 ticket. All in all, not too shabby.
