Pizza Crust!!! I love pizza and I love their crust! Its nice and fluffy and crispy on the outside when you bite into it. This place is literally 2 stores down from where I work. They got parking behind the restaurant. I came in today to grab pizza to go. The prices are ok, 2 topping medium pizza(8 slices) for $ 11.50. If you got coupons, use them because saving $ 1 helps! Baked fresh and its very cheesy which is what I like for my pizza. Just one thing is that it gets oily. But quality of the pizza is good and I can eat all the crust!

The pizza was 4⁄5 but not the best place to have a conversation. A bunch of beer-gut retired white men kept shouting over the huge tv screen while i was talking with a friend. Also, im pretty sure the waitress forgot my order because it was a 30 minute wait.

It’s funny the new owner change the name and logo, and franchise to his own franchise, but he still has the same menu, with a bunch of banners, trying to get attention.

Came here twice and had the pizza with these toppings: pepperoni, sauage, jalapeño. The crust is pretty crunchy however the flavor is a bit bland. The rest of the pizza is decent but nothing that is out of this world. We also got some of the chicken wings which were pretty good.

Place was dirty. It had dirty tables, spider webs and dust all over. Horrible customer service. Felt uncomfortable the whole time eating there. Pizza needed more flavor and wings was even worst. $ 30 wasted

Local Pizza Place This location is just a decent place, the pizza prices are a tad overpriced considering the quality of the food. Its not worth what they are charging. I had the Large Pizza with Italian sausage, and I felt that the pizza was oily and was covered in cheese. Overly cheesed that the dough or the sausage didn’t have a good balance. The location is run down, it has been here for years, since I was a child. You would think they should do some like renovation to make the environment a little more welcoming.

My favorite thing here is the pizza bread! I have been eating it since I was a kid. When I first ordered it at 7 years old it was $ 1.50! Wow, times have changed, but Lamp Post is the same great place. We still come here to have our favorite pizza and even play video games. MEMORIES!

Been coming here for 15+ years. Never had a bad experience. Pizza and breadsticks are fantastic. Always eat in. Gets packed for kids sports events but mostly a great spot.

The best taste in pizza, no one has the quality and taste to their highest expectations. The place is wonderful for familia. Good ambiance and their seats are comfortable.

I haven’t logged into Unilocal in months but I was so unsatisfied last night with Lamp Post that I decided to log in just to review them. Me and a friend came to dine in– I’ve ordered pizza to go before but this time decided to walk in(side note– last time I ordered out they had specials that would have saved me like $ 5 on my order, for the same exact thing, but no one bothered to tell me on the pone and much less offer the special to me while I picked up my food). The pizza was good, I wouldn’t complain about it. We had a medium peperoni and a couple of half orders of pasta, nothing amazing. But the reason I gave only one star was the service of the employees. The guy who took my order looked like he didn’t care to be there. No smile, no welcome, nothing. We stood for 5 minutes at the counter while employees walked by– nothing from no one. Took my order, didn’t offer any specials, nothing. I ordered a large soda, he gave me a stub but didn’t tell me how to use it. I figured out to take the stub to the bar, and the guy gave me my drink there. The drink was $ 2.50, and no B.S. the size of a regular«small» drink at any fast food place. I couldn’t understand how that was supposed to be a large… I asked the guy if there were free refills, he said no, they were 50 cents. :( So I go sit down with my friend, and then I notice they sell pitchers of soda. Uhm, would have been nice to know that was an option, but again the guy who took my order never offered anything. I went back half-way through my meal and asked for a refill(now a girl was behind the counter). She poured it and gave it to me, I gave her a dollar and she walked away. I called to her, asked about my 50 cent change, and she said refills were a dollar. What? so are they 50 cents or a dollar?!? No explanation, no sorry, no nothing. Worst place to eat. I used to love this place as a kid, and I still thought their pizza was fine, but I’m not giving them anymore of my business. Not until they can figure out what customer service is supposed to be like. Shakeys, Petrillos, Angelos… all better service than you’ll get here.

After placing an order for delivery by a hurried employee on the phone, I was told it would take 20 minutes. I left my credit card info, name, and phone number. After an hour I called for an update and was told that my card didn’t go through(because the employee neglected to ask for the security code) and the second employee claimed the former called and left a message which there was no indication of on my phone. I assume he took down the wrong number. It was too close to closing for another delivery order so that’s that. I hear fair things about this place but I regret not just ordering from Baldwin Park Pizza Co while there was still time. Won’t be trying again.

Cool spot. Used to be better a while back. But the people are laid backed and service is good. The pizza is good for what it is.

Local favorite pizza joint. Back in middle school and high school, this is the place we’d go for pizza parties or catered by Lamp Post. I remember the nights after basketball practice or an awesome win, our coach would treat us out. It was the best time because 1) we didn’t have to pay for it and got fed 2) we were teens with high metabolisms and didn’t need to worry about what we ate. Now, more than ten years later, we can’t just stuff all the pizza, bread sticks, and sodas in our body. So, I’ve less frequent my visits here. But once in a long while, like this past visit, I order my favorite, the bread sticks. Comes with marinara and ranch dipping sauce. Extra will cost 25 cents each. If you’re looking for good local pizza, this is the place to go.

I am barely giving them 1 star… Last night we placed a delivery order. They said 40 minutes. We called 1 hour after, they said that the guy was already on his way to call in 15 minutes if he’s a no show… We called 20 minutes, then the girl was giving us attitude like we were interrupting her free time! She said we’ll get $ 5 off… pfft. Finally after 1 and a half hours from the time we called we received cold pizza and semi warm sandwiches! I gave them a chance since this was the first time in a year we ordered from them, because this exact scenario happened last time! The people are rude and don’t understand that they are in a CUSTOMERSERVICE industry! If you don’t like catering to your customers then get another job!

Greasy pizza. Flat soda. Dirty tables full of dirty plates. Filthy counters. Nasty restrooms. Poor customer service. Sticky, grimy cheese & red chili shakers. What’s to like? Oh, yeah. They got a lot of televisions. How did I end up here? Car was being serviced and I didn’t have many choices to eat within walking distance.

I ordered a medium pizza with 2 toppings and they were stingy with the toppings. The guy was an asshole too. I asked for cheese and they didn’t want to give me a second container. Lampost use to be way better back in the day.

Im giving 3.5 star!!! Ordered for carry out. They told me it will be ready in 20min, but turned out to be 40min :/. It was super bus Saturday night so I understand. Very nice and friendly staff. Nice big screen tv kinda like supports bar mixed with family restaurant. I got the thin crust(need to stay off the crabs). The crust is definitely thicker compare to pizza hut. But, still nice and crunchy. Italian sausage was superb. Their medium is 14″(large in most places) reasonable price about $ 13 for medium one topping. Conclusion, taking 1.5 stars off for the wait. Other than that, If you don’t mind the wait time on the weekend, would definitely recommend!

Nostalgia and a craving for pizza brought me here, but I was delighted to have found that the pizza was just as good as my memory had lead me to believe. After arriving in town, we were a little shaken up after a minor earthquake had struck, so we decided comfort food was the way to go. My fella suggested pizza and I was excited for some Lamp Post Pizza. They have recently changed their name to The Post Pizza, but not much else has changed. The interior is large and great for large groups, especially for groups with kids. They have games and video games as well as TVs all airing sports. You order at be counter, pick up your drinks and alcoholic beverages at the bar area and head to your table with a number when they bring the food out to you. We opted for a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza and some drinks. The food came out quickly and we settled in for an indulgent meal. The pizza had a perfect texture. Not too doughy and not too thin, it had a perfect crispy outside and soft dough center. The dough also had a sweetness that complemented the sauce and toppings nicely. The pizza isn’t fancy or gourmet, but perfect in its simplicity. Great prices and lots of items to choose from m, this is a great place for kids of all ages.
