Omnomnomnom! This spot was discovered on a spur of the moment craving for rotisserie chicken. I took three friends with me — all of varying food preferences — and everyone was not only satisfied but amazed. The chicken was juicy and seasoned all the way through, not just on the skin. The fries and the Loma saltado were super tasty, too. We’ll all be back there.

Great Peruvian joint! The food is tasty and price is cheap. Their chicken is as juicy as it gets. I’ve only been here once. Definitely need to go more often. I would recommend this to everyone. I would say this is probably the best Peruvian chicken joint in town.

I got a special place for this joint, is way better than the Pollo Loco located right in front on the same plaza. This is Peruvian food, so the chicken has a different flavor than most rotisserie places. They also have some desserts from Peru and Inca cola, is a soda that taste like bubble gum.

Probably the worst pollo saltado I’ve ever had. Down right greasy! They were so stingy on the chicken pieces and the rice was greasy as well! I was given more rice than pollo saltado. I do not recommend coming to this place. Expensive for small portions and a bucket of grease($ 11). For $ 8, I can have authentic pollo saltado, bread, soup and a drink at a REAL Peruvian restaurant in Pico.

The chicken soup is the best thing ever, however the chicken by itself is not good at all well actually not edible. I just order what i know ima like and what they are good at making. Also, the red salsa is good, sometimes it’s more spicier than other times. I’m assuming it’s based on how angry the cook is feeling at the time he is preparing it? Anyways, come here for the soup

The chicken is delish, really juicy but also a nice crispy skin. Really loved the sauces/salsa too. A hidden gem are the fries, smoking hot straight from the fryer with a crispy outside and pillowy soft inside. A nice change from El pollo loco.

Awesome Lomo saltado. Always fresh hot meal. Made to order. Small place eight tables inside. But food always consistent.

The chicken combo was tasty — perfectly cooked and seasoned. Looking forward to trying everything else on the menu. P. S. The salsa’s(aji, I think it’s called?) is spicy and has a very good taste!

If you like Peruvian give this place a shot. Service is awesome. Foods awesome-er! If your in the mood for a soup give the aguadito a shot. The chickens damn good too! The purple drink(chicha) is a must as well. Enjoy!

Was in town to do some business and found this little hidden gem. Initially my wife & I were gonna go to El Pollo Loco, but then saw this place and decided to check it out. We love Peruvian food, and man did they deliver. I had the lomo saltado burrito and it was delicious! Peruvian, with a Mexican twist. My wife had the lomo saltado plate & finished all of it. Perfect seasoning and flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some good food.

For the longest I was fighting traffic to Ktown Pollo A La Brasa for Peruvian Chicken… until I stumbled across Pollo Mania getting off the wrong exit off the 10. Yes it would be nice if they opened later than 9pm but considering the area I GET it. It’s just as good and the sides are even better. Especially the fries are not of the frozen variety which is an added bonus. Plenty of seating. Consistent and simple but oh so great! Someday I’ll get the Lomo Saltado eh doubt it.

For 2 years I have meant to try this Peruvian restaurant but there was never a convenient time until now. Since I was in the area and seeing the many stars accumulated over the years, I decided to give it a try. Their pollo certainly didn’t turn me into a mania, instead, it was a total disappointment! I have had more flavorful and tastier Peruvian chicken. Even El Pollo Loco or the rotisserie chicken from King Taco is way better. Also, the pina drink is the one of the worst I have had. PROS: Plenty of parking and service was decent. The cashier was nice enough to give us a sample of rice and some green chicken rice soup.

I had the ¼ chicken with beans, corn tortillas and Cole slaw.(7.50) The chicken was very tender, even the breast was soft. Cole slaw was refreshing, not oversauced. There was also a salsa station with two different types of salsa. The service was extremely fast, I got my good within 5 minutes. I was a little worried about how fast it was but the quality still held up. Fast rotisserie chicken with plenty of sides. Would definitely come back!

You can’t go wrong with the half chicken. Small place, but good food. It’s 40 feet from pollon loco, take the extra walk and come here you’ll enjoy it.

Came in with high hopes with all the good reviews. Unfortunately they were dropped when when I started eating. Lomo Saltado– the marinate was too sour. Pollo with beans and Fries– this was so so. The pollo was juicy and a good seasoning. The Beans were not tasty, very bland. Sauces– i thought they would offer more sauces but they only had 3. None were interesting. I wouldn’t come back. I think Mr Pollo in West Covina was a lot better.

Run by Japanese Peruvians, this place specializes in Pollo a la brasa(chicken slow cooked). This place and the one in West Covina both use machines to do the slow cooking. Personally, Pollo a la brasa Western in LA and in Gardena is much better(they slow cook over wood and have aji sauce). Still, when you want great chicken, this is a great option than driving an hour for the best chicken in LA.

Yum yuummmm! Great rotisserie chicken, kickass salsa/hot sauce, garlic sauce is my FAVORITE, good beans, well-cooked rice. Comes with tortillas, too. Also very cheap, too. This place is fairly close to work and makes for a great healthy-ish lunch. Everything is so good!

WINNERWINNERCHICKENDINNER! This is my go-to spot for lunch during my break at work. They have the most delicious wood roasted Peruvian rotisserie chicken! This place is very comparable to Mr. Pollo in West Covina. The meat is moist and juicy and the prices are amazing for the portion size. They have lunch specials but I usually get a medium chicken soup for $ 5, that comes with a side of rice, tortillas, cilantro/onions, and salsa. The soup consists of huge chunks of fresh chicken, carrots, cabbage, and potatoes. I’m a huge soup lover and I find myself craving this soup on a weekly basis! I have yet to try the other items on the menu but the ¼ chicken special with two sides for $ 7 is a great deal as well!

Rotisserie Chicken! Small hole in the wall location right across from the big El Pollo Loco. Can do take out or eat in the small eating area. Service was good and quick. Whole Chicken — $ 12.25 — Good mix of dark and white meat. Enough to feed a family of 4 – 5. Chicken is moist and juicy, even the white meat. Seasoning is very good. Skin is packed with flavor. The garlic sauce is amazing. The heat in the sauce was so hot and adds a nice punch. I know they are completely different, but I think I still prefer El Pollo Loco’s flavor and seasoning more. But still very good chicken.

Pollo a la brasa(Peruvian rotisserie chicken) at its best! There aren’t a lot of options in the San Gabriel Valley for this type of food, but we have this and it is really good. There are a few other options other than chicken, but I haven’t even tried them because the chicken is so good. The chicken is moist and tender and the marinade is great. I always have to battle my inner demons when it comes to eating the crispy tasty skin. Scratch that. I have to battle my inner demons when it comes to how much skin to eat, because I will always eat it. The aji sauce is good, but I wish they had more variety when it comes to sauce. Mr Pollo in West Covina wins in this area. They have specials which include sides at a very reasonable price. Their beans and rice are really good. If you are getting it to go, don’t get the french fries because they do not double fry them here and they WILL be soggy by the time you get home. There is seating here but not much. Also, it’s not the nicest of restaurants in the nicest of areas, so depending on who you’re with, you might want to just get takeout.
