I’m completely unsatisfied! Place can’t get the orders right. I went through the drive through & ordered a chicken veggie bowl with more veggies then rice and I found a lot more rice then veggies & every time I go the chicken seems to be burnt. Also remember a lady in the car behind me. Complaining that she had to drive back because they didn’t get her order right as well
I don’t suggest to go to this Waba grill

A while back I left a pretty bad review on this specific waba grill. I’ve been back since then and I have to say that I haven’t had an issue with them at all. Everyone seems a lot friendlier and polite :) I love their chicken bowl with avocado. I like that when I wrote my review I was acknowledged. See you soon Waba!

Good place when you’re in a rush and looking for something good to eat.
Only bad point is they mess up on large quantity orders. Ordered 9 of the half and half bowls and the person at the register gives me 6. I just stood there waiting when she gave me this look like «Why is she not leaving?» and asked me what I was waiting for.
So I showed her my receipt. And pointed at the bag with the remaining 3 bowls.

I’ve been to Waba once at a different location and enjoyed it so figured I’d give it another try
Glad to see this location had a drive thru since I was on my lunch hour! Food was good BUT the girl (Gabriela) at the drive thru window was extremely rude! First she didn’t repeat the total when I got to the window, she just handed me my drink and took my money then closed the window. About 2 – 3 minutes later she opens the window, hands me my food and closes it… again all without saying a word to me. No «thank you», «have a nice day», «come again»…nothing!
So even though it’s convenient to grab a quick meal it really is off putting not to be acknowledged or feel appreciated as a customer

I have worked in El Monte for over 6 years; I have never eaten here before. I ask myself, «Why»? Absolutely delicious and so healthy, I’m impressed! Will definitely be back for more.
The girl at the drive-​thru window had bright eyes and a beautiful smile — great staff.

For some reason prices have dramatically increased yet the portions have shrunk, don’t get me wrong the food in decent, I mean you can’t go wrong with chicken and rice, but this last trip here I was disappointed by their portions. I hardly got any rice Amir chicken just plenty of veggies and the veggies were not cooked correctly. I hardly complain because I normally eat at places where I’m going to get decent food but it was disappointing that for $ 8.00 I hardly got any chicken or rice. Even the miso soup was no Bueno at all.
Service was good the employees are super nice the place is always clean but come on if you are going to increase your prices the least you can do is not decrease the portions.

Service is great though. Every time I’ve been, they’ve always been fast, friendly and efficient.
The cookies by the way, are the reason why I keep coming back!
