My grandmother loves the white fungus dessert and the little fried fish, which is why we go at least once per week. I have become addicted to the hand made dumplings and the pineapple shrimp. If you have a 80+ year old Asian grandma, bring her here. She will love it.

ok so i came back to this place for dinner in October expecting yummy in my tummy… not so much this time. Still i think $ 13.99 is a good price for a buffet but the quality has really dropped. The crab legs are not as fat as they use to be, the food is not as fresh, and i think i had some fruits that were semi rotten. What made me really upset is we had a Unilocal discount to use, and we had 2 senior citizens in our party(a few dollars off)…they wouldn’t let us combine the two… saying that we could only use one or the other… pretty annoying. My sister in law even tried to talk to some sense into them but they gave her a bad attitude. So… yeah I’m over it. I hate rude ppl and rude service!

I don’t think this is a seafood buffet. It is a buffet and it does offer some seafood, but this should not be called«Seafood Buffet.» I went for lunch, so maybe seafood only shows up for dinner? Anyways, this is just the typical Asian buffet with low quality sushi rolls, a lot of fried stuff, and stir fried items. It’s cheap! I think is about $ 8-$ 9 and the drink is included, where most Asian buffets, drinks are charged separately.

I have been here a couple times since it has opened with my boyfriend and every time we indulged in crawfish. We probably had ourselves a couple pounds of crawfish each time. Other buffet places have cold crawfish but here it is yummy and the crawfish are pretty big for a buffet. YAY! Our second time here, it was the beginning of dinner time so food wasnt ready yet, but there were very nice and asked if we wanted to order so they can make what we wanted first. SONICE! :) We just waited though cause we didn‘t want to be a hassle lol. -” one star for yummy crawfish -” two stars for great service! -” i wish they had more selections -” my watermelon wasn‘t sweet :( -” soups were kinda flavorless. oh & the waiter refilled only my drink when my boyfriend‘s was more empty. ONEMORESTAR for being mean the boyfriend! ^-^ LOL jk

I went with a friend, since he gotten a flyer about a new seafood buffet around his neck of the woods, and I basically said, «why not?» We went on a Thursday a little close to 1, the day AFTER the rain washed the outside patio, which it looks like seating doesn’t exist. Quite surprised about the price, $ 8.99 for an AYCE seafood buffet place. I was kind of skeptical at first, but my friend said that the place is pretty good for the price. The big plus about this place over Zen Buffet, there’s ACTUALLYFRESHFRUIT! Now, not a lot of fresh fruit(strawberries, cantaloupe and watermelon), but it was better than what Zen Buffet had, which was NONE. The dumpling station confused me a bit, because originally, I thought that was the sushi portion of the buffet was, but it was actually across from the fruits/desserts portion, which I found slightly odd. I avoided the portion because a) I didn’t realized it was there and b) I was still getting over my small episode of the non-existent marinated ahi. My friend said that the sushi was better when he had it the first time, but the second tie, not so much. I found it kind of cute that they had a rice cooker, for those who want white rice, instead of the standard fried rice or chow mein. I didn’t see lot of seafood as I thought the buffet was, and I’ve noticed a lot of Unilocalers gave it thumbs down because of that, but considering the fact that the price for the meal is pretty cheap, there isn’t a lot of profit to turn over if they had ALL their seafood out in the open. However, every single time I went to get more food, there was always a person stocking up on the food. The only complained that I had was about the hot and sour soup; it tasted a bit watered down. I do understand you might want to extend your resources, but if you’re going to water it down, at least put something else in, like maybe lemon juice, to give it more sour? My friend said that the soda came with the meal, but I still wanted to get water, and saw on the bill that it didn’t. Also, the bill was written with the tax already included, not even breaking it down for us to see how much per item was. Thought it was kind of odd, but just shruged it off. I wouldn’t mind coming back here, but I think there’s some room for improvement. It is still brand-new, so there is some time for the place to get better.

I came here with my boss for dinner because we wanted to eat some good seafood oysters and king crab legs. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived. The servers were nice and we were greeted politely. Now here is the part that sucked… the part that will keep me from ever coming back to this place again. They have a small plate of king crab legs and oysters which contained maybe…10 pieces of each. We were only able to get about 3 each and after other people got some the plate was empty. For the remainder of the night it was NEVER refilled. I mean Ill overlook the fact that there was a fly buzzing around the food and landing on some of it. Ill even overlook the fact that the rest of the food there didn’t even taste good. But don’t deprive me of my king crab legs! How dare you!!!

I only came to Yummy Yummy because I had a 10% off coupon, but boy oh boy the food was unappetizing! I already had my doubts about this place. new buffets either make it or break it. They never settle for a middle ground. Foolishly thinking that I would get the better half of the coin flip, I ventured into this horrifying restaurant that was definitely NOT yummy yummy. Let me dock off 1 star for false advertising. Next, let’s move on to the food. My egg custard and bread bun was soggy. I literally squeezed water out from underneath and was able to mold the bread into different shapes. It was pure nastiness. I swear that stuff should NOT be served out to unsuspecting customers! Then the Miso soup. Come on, you could basically taste the small MSG crystals in the soup! It was over salty and lukewarm. Gross! The sushi was actually surprisingly good, but the ice cream, on the other hand, was more like shattered glass. They should have changed the sign to «shaved ice» because the frozen yogurt that Yummy Yummy claims to have been serving came out in frozen, non-edible chunks. There weren’t any cones either, but that wasn’t too bad. Overall, I definitely do NOT recommend coming to this Seafood Buffet. Is it Yummy Yummy? The answer to that is a resounding no. Dear manager, please change the name to Nasty Nasty and save us all the trouble from falling into the schemes of false advertising.

Other than the cheesy name of this place, the food was anything BUT yummy except for a few items available. There were plenty of seafood there(i. e. crawfish, crab legs, etc.) but there were more than plenty left every time I would go for another round of food. I kind of wonder if it was because it just wasn’t good or??? I usually get chicken wings when I go to these kinds of buffets but they were still RAW. I only got two pieces the first time and I couldn’t even be bothered with them anymore. The fried noodles were drenched in salt and the fish items were too overcooked and dry. I did see beef spareribs but it didn’t even look appetizing at all. I think this place should just serve some sort of appetizers because someone in the kitchen can’t cook meat. The eggrolls still had uncooked wraps and it wasn’t fried enough. Either they served uncooked or overcooked dishes. The only good thing was the sushi, believe it or not. Oh, and the free soda. And the frozen yogurt. Don’t waste your time coming here. It really wasn’t worth it. Every time I would go for a second trip to the food area, my plate was becoming less filled. I would NOT go here again.

The food has gotten better since the last time we where here in July 2011. Price is okay, $ 13.99 on weekends. Soda is free. There is a lot to choose from. I like that they have a lot of Seafood selection. I love their steam fish, baked mussels & clams. They also have, crawfish, shrimp & crab legs, my husband said it was okay too.(I am allergic, so I did not try)

$ 13.99 for weekend seafood buffet is not bad(also including drinks), I like the crawfish(it would be better if adding some spice) and crab legs(a little bit salty, or else it would be perfect). The cold unpeeled shrimp is kind of small, hope they would replace the same size of shrimp as the fried one later on. The atmosphere is friendly, and the place is pretty clean! We cook dumplings ourselves, so their favorite dumplings did not attract me. I tasted one, but my mom’s cooking is much better! Overall, it’s an ideal place to hang out with friends.

I’m just going to be precise: I came here once, and I immediately had food poisoning for days. Ibuprofen didn’t even help me — need I say more? The owner is a Taiwanese bitch, and was a complete snob to my boyfriend. The other 2 workers I saw there. well, the main hostess was friendly, and the waitress that attended our needs to refill our drinks and whatnot(I believe her name was Hannah) was DEFINITELY the best one there. She was very friendly to us, and very sweet. The food there is remotely fresh, at least most was. My favorite was probably the weird biscuits they have. I had my first one when it was warm and crispy, but the next one I got when I went back up. was soft, and didn’t taste as good. My boyfriend really enjoyed their crawfish though. We went to eat around 3pm, right before the lunch special ended and I believe the pice was about $ 7.99. They brought out oysters and some bbq ribs around 3:20PM, and then my boyfriend went to get some. The Taiwanese bitch basically yelled at the hostess, telling her to scold us since oysters were not a part of the lunch menu, as it was with the $ 12.99 dinner menu. I understand if it wasn’t a part of dinner, but you should’ve thought of that. when opening a buffet, it’s expected that some people’s trips would overlap time frames. Anyway, I started going around taking pictures, and one of the workers there asked how I liked the food. I just pleasantly smiled, even though I was chuckling on the inside. I told them I wrote reviews online, and suddenly I received better service. Think I’m coming back again? HAHANOTHANKS! I’d rather spend the extra $ 10-$ 15 I have and buy myself, as well as a homeless man lunch.

I’ll have to say, it is pretty cheap. My favorite here were the hand made dumplings. But that’s kind of weird isn’t it? Dumplings at a Seafood Buffet. I think the name should be more like Yummy Yummy Buffet since there isn’t a lot of seafood. Sure, there are some crab legs, some shrimp, and some fish. But there’s no lobster. There are some clams, though. And some other fillters — fries, chicken nuggets(too dry /tough), pizza(looks like those personal pan pizzas from the market), and things you would find at a Chinese buffet. Drinks were included in the price! I wouldn’t mind coming back here again if I were hungry. A-OK. Friendly service. Needs to up the food quality(except for dumplings, those were great!)

Judging by all-you-can eat Chinese buffet standards, this place isn’t half bad. I’ve had a lot worse. If you go in with lowered expectations, stick with the more Chinese-y stuff versus the more Americanized stuff, I think you can leave the premises unscathed without an agonizing trip to the porcelain throne. The vegetable and chive dumplings station is a must visit. You will see the lady hand-make each and every dumpling, complete with an obligatory tip jar with a few neatly placed dollar bills inside. Unless it’s a hot girl making dumplings in a bikini or giving me special lobster dumplings, I don’t really see a reason to tip. Each dumpling contains bits of green within each filling that might wreak havoc to your toothsome grin, should you pose for a photo immediately thereafter. Dab some of their soy sauce, and you’re all set. Check out the miniature sponge cakes and the red bean buns, as they are hidden underneath shiny domes of steel. If you have kids, it will be a sure-fire hit. Regarding the seafood part of the buffet, it’s a hit or miss. If you’re looking for crab legs, they have them, but they are of the anorexic variety. Skinny and not much meat. Then you have your fried foods section. I stayed away from it all, except for the salt and pepper calamari, which weren’t too shabby. Not as a crisp as I would like and more on the rubbery side, but it had that tasty and addictive salt and pepper flavor. Every Chinese mother will slap your hand and tell you that you’ll get pimples and terrible acne from eating too much fried food. It’s not true, really. I think. As far as dessert, I would be extra selective. When the boiled chicken feet are located in the same station as the dessert and fruits, that might be an issue for most of America. There are obvious items that look like they are straight from the can or jar. The fruit were alright. Overall, an okay deal for lunch since it includes a drink. If they scaled back on the seafood and charged a few bucks less on the prices, they might see an uptick in business. 2.5 stars, rounded up.

After trying out a great deal of restaurants, I’ve came up with a few sets of criterion to rate a restaurant. Each of this Criteria is out of 1. Here’s how Yummy Yummy adds UP: 1. Setting:(Cleanliness, Decors): 1 2. Service(Attentive Staffs, Refills) .75 3. Quality of Food: .75 4. If its worth the PRICE: .75 5. Something Unique: .75 ____________________________________________ = 4 stars! 1. The Place is Very Spacious and Clean. It looks very Nice for a Brand New Buffet. 2. The Service is Good. The staffs were very polite in greeting us but I was quite disappointed when the waiter/waitress didn’t come to ask me if I wanted a refill on my empty cup of Soda. :( 3. The food was tasty. I like their sushi bar, their Seaweed stuffed in a egg pocket sushi was very good. I enjoyed their freshly made dumplings. The Crawfish was good(not flavored like Boiling Crab) But i improvised by dipping em’ in my Spiracha sauce mixed with freshly squeezed lemon and grounded pepper. Everything else wasn’t so memorable for me. 4. The price was decent. For two People, it came out to be ~$ 29 after tax and 5% off discount. It think it was Okay for the price. For a Buffet of $ 13.99/person, I don’t think people should expect the HILTON quality buffet($ 50) or a VEGAS buffet($ 30+). MOST Unilocalers expects to get the BANG for their Buck! Rating a restaurant a 1 star is quite Harsh in my Opinion! Maybe 2 or 3 star at least, but 1 star? WOW, JUST wow~ 5. SOMETHINGUNIQUE: Every Restaurant has something about them that makes them Special. This place offers Free Drinks and 5% off Dinner special when you check in on Unilocal. 5.

After reading some of the wonderful reviews about this place, I thought I’d give it a try. I thought the pictures of all the food items looked super delicious, however, I left very disappointed. I came here with my boyfriend around 7:45pm on a Friday night. The place was half full. I was super excited to get my first plate and load it with food, however, when I saw the selection I noticed that most of the food had been left there for hours. Also, some of the items were never replaced. Also, the long sushi bopth was only half full. I guess the sushi chef left early… And the sushi looks nothing like what is posted here on Unilocal. Not only that, but most of the other meat dishes tasted like mush and everything was room temperature. It really seemed like the owners thought 7:45pm was last call for food, therefore decided not to replace certain items. Oh yeah, the floor was super sticky around the buffet bar. I think someone might have spilled something on the floor and it wasn’t mopped properly. I wouldn’t have mind, but I happened to step on it –_– Also, there were bugs flying in the dessert area. I wanted to get a cream puff, but noticed that there were ony two left, and there were two bugs already helping themselves to it. What was up with the ice cream??? ughhhhhh. It should not be consumed by people. Also, I felt bad for the lady in the dumpling station… she did not look like she was having fun… but looked like she was being punished. … Don’t think I’ll be going back…

Everything was mediocre at best. The fish and crab tasted a bit«off». The corn, fruit and chicken nuggets were obviously frozen or canned. The garlic bread was the best part. Ma pau tofu was just bad. The sushi had the smallest sliver of fish I’ve ever seen. We went there with low expectations and they were soundly met.

Yummy yummy seafood buffet… what is so yummy about you? Nothing really! Food is ok, I felt as if some food might have been a bit spoiled. Chow mein tasted a little sour or something. Spicy salt shrimp wasn’t good, wasn’t enough batter to be fried correctly. String beans were too salty. Lunch is $ 7.99 a person which is pretty cheap compared to zen buffet, but zen is still better.

I was actually a bit skeptical about this place with all the newbie reviewers. It must be insiders writing all these reviews right? Maybe, maybe not, nevertheless, gave it a try anyways. For $ 13/person, you can’t go wrong. Please keep in mind, this is a fairly new establishment, approximately 2 weeks in operations. So the place is very clean and orderly. The kitchen is constantly replenishes the food at the buffet and the wait staff are very attentive to clear your table. Pictures definitely makes a big impression on Unilocal.Without all the pictures posted below, I probably wouldn’t come in. The crab legs were the first thing that caught my attention. Although, they’re not vegas style crab legs, but at a third of the price, you won’t find any complaints here. The names says it all, SEAFOOD Buffet… no shortage of seafood at this place. One of my favorites, along with many other patrons at this restaurant are the crayfish. I saw people taking plates and plates of these to eat. Not much meat, but a whole lot of flavor. The fried half crabs were also very tasty and meaty. Not too shabby in my book. There are two things that I didn’t particularly enjoy at this restaurant: a.) the sushi rice being too hard. I’m not a big fan of sushi at buffets, but some of you folks might be. So be warned, the sushi needs some help. I already told the guy at the front and he agrees the rice needs more water. b.) The soft serve machine wasn’t working very well. When it does work, it comes out very slow and grossly looking… I’ll just leave it at that for your own imagination. Overall, I would definitely come back here again. You can’t go wrong with the price and the quality of the food that was served. I sure hope they make enough money to stay in business and continue to offer the quality of food, cleanliness, and excellent service.

This place really is crap. I went with my boyfriend a week after grand-opening to try this place out since we live so close. BIGDISAPPOINTMENT!!! –the food weren’t fresh –their food heating lamp obviously doesn’t work, food were cold –their fried chicken smelled like crap.(like the chicken were put out to rot before they fried it) –their strawberries were molded –the waiter and waitresses were nice though, very friendly. but. i must agree with van, this mid 20 year old Asian female cashier was a TOTAL B*****!!! First of all, she can’t even smile? Seriously! I didn’t pay to look at your tempered face.(Although it was grand-opening price) make sure you don’t ask her to bring you anything or get a refill for you. She’s a cashier not a waitress! I’m not sure if this buffet is going to last. Every restaurant opened in that very location closes down 2 – 6 months tops from opening. Again though, This place was bad enough for me to make a Unilocal account… That bad.
