Growing up in a vegetarian family you can’t imagine how stoked we were when a new Vegan restaurant opened up in El Segundo! I remember the first time I tasted their ‘chicken’ burgers; it was life-changing. You should probably try –the Grillin’ Chicken(Sandwich) –the Buffalo Wings(table food) –the Sweatheart Fries(sweet potato fries with HOUSERANCHSAUCETODIEFOR) –the Mac and Cheese –Basically anything on the menu will be good Because my family are still veggies and also because we know we’re going to get a great meal any time we come and no matter what we order, we come here for every birthday, holiday, and celebration. Even with Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and a new baby celebration lunches under our belts I know we’ll be back soon.

I am not vegan but I enjoyed everything here. I ordered Korean tacos(don’t remember exact name) and they were delicious. Nachos were great and Mac and cheese was good but not like what you might expect. They have about six drinks to choose from and they are great. My favorite was the strawberry lemonade. The hibiscus ginger green tea drink was good too. You will feel satisfied and you won’t miss the meat. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because I feel it’s a little pricey. Two taco meals, nachos, a quinoa bowl, Mac and cheese and a side salad were $ 49 and change. Fast and friendly service.

never say enough good things to say about this place I absolutely love it and whenever I can manage to get over to Santa Monica I will stock up and have some leftovers for the next day. I absolutely adore this place and thier fake/soy chicken doesn’t taste like soy and even friends that promise they will never like it end up loving it

This location has plummeted in quality in the past 3 years. From surly arrogant employees to overcooked items to tight parking; this is definitely a Veggie Grill location to avoid.

My other favorite restaurant. If I was a king I would feast on everything on the menu everyday. My fav is buffalo strips every single time. I love spicy food. It’s also tangy and salty. Sometimes I’m addicted to salty spice. Their drinks has unique flavors too. Delish! They need to bring back the portobello skewer though. I only got to have it a couple of times and it wasn’t enough.

One of my favorite vegetarian places… their food has always been packed with flavor. Today though, I’ve found a dish that I will reorder over and over… Seoul Bowl! Never would’ve thought my favorite beef bowl is a vegetarian one :)

For what it is, Veggie Grill is great. It was my first experience with vegan food and it was a good one. The chickn’ is amazing — you really can’t tell it’s a soy product and not meat which is insane. I really liked the orange breaded cauliflower. I would go back for that in a heart beat. I’ve also heard their Thai style corn chowder is amazing. I’ll definitely go back for that. It’s a little pricey so beware. My meal was $ 14 with a drink which seems like a lot for a meal you order at the register.

Yes, yes and more yes. A vegetarian place close to my neighborhood. I’ve been here with my co-workers during a Friday pay day rush. I really could not enjoy myself because the place was so crowded and I rushed to place my order. I did have the strawberry lemonade that time, but let’s talk about my current visit. Everything was great except the girl that took my order, called me to her register, then she proceeded to take the order of the person on the phone. She did ask me to wait, but the phone order could have waited until after I placed my order. She was nice about it, but that wasn’t an efficient use of time. I would of rather her have me wait in line while she took that order instead of at her register. Anywhoo, I ordered the veggie nachos. This dish should get 10 stars. My taste buds thanked me during every crunch. Then I ordered a drink, of course I got the epic strawberry lemonade. I was pleased just like last time. That strawberry lemonade was all types of awesome. My food came out fast and pretty. I could tell the cooks take pride in their work. I also loved the chill vibe, smiling people and a cool place to read while enjoying lunch. Eat here to maintain your vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc, etc lifestyle while out here in these streets!

Ughhhhhhhh the absolute BEST! They have great gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. I had just flown into LAX to visit my best friend and was STARVING. We stopped by for a late lunch. We ordered the buffalo chick salad, fish tacos and tempura green beans. EVERYTHINGWASSOGOOD. I have nothing negative to say. Everything is super fresh. Prices are reasonable especially for the quality and freshness. Good service. Waiting for them to open one near me in DC!

I had the chance to try veggie grill again and got the grilled chikin wrap. I love the way the chikin tastes but it could use more sauce and lettuce. The fries are good as always

Great selection, including gluten-free. My daughter loved the buffalo wings. She said the texture was a very chewy chicken and the sauce was amazing. She’s 12 and couldn’t finish the wings, they were really filling. I enjoyed the Bombay Bowl; it was enough for 2. The service was great and very quick. UPDATE Ordered online and food was ready as soon as I got there. Awesomeness! Had the Seoul Bowl this time around… meh. The crispy tofu was delicious, but quinoa was a bit too soggy for my liking. Veggies and sauce were enough though.

What happened? I’ve been taking my friends and family to this Veggie Grill for years. I’m a vegan and LOVE the food and not having to worry about whether I can eat what’s on the menu. HOWEVER over the past 5ish months, service, cleanliness, accuracy, and quality have taken a hard turn for the worse. I’m so unhappy with my experience tonight that I’ll just go to the Crenshaw location from now on. New owner? New manager? Reorg soon, please!

Can you say sodium? Can you say carbs? Most everything on the menu is OVERLOADED with both. Sure it’s healthy to eat veggies but the mass qualities of carbs and sodium in nearly everything they sell cancels out the good. See for yourself(and keep in mind you should be looking to stay under 15 net carbs per meal or else your blood sugar levels spike higher than sucking down a cup of pure sugar!): And salt should be nearly non existent in any healthy meal. Good luck stating fit and healthy eating here people!

So many great options for lunch near my work. Many of my veggie friends said I should try The Veggie Grill. So many interesting options to choose from(salads, sandwiches, bowls, appetizers and tacos.) The line moved very quickly so I needed to make a decision. For a side dish we ordered the Crispy cauliflower with spicy orange dipping sauce. It’s just like orange chicken but instead of it all ready mixed together, you just dip the cauliflower in the sauce. This is especially helpful so if you have leftovers they do not get soggy. For my main dish I ordered the Crispy Chickin’ Plate. Faux fried chicken on a bed of cauli-mashed potatoes covered in porcini mushroom gravy. It also came with kale salad topped with a nice vinaigrette. «Oh my!» [George Takei voice] I’ve gone all this time without Veggie Grill :( I made a mixed half Ginger hibiscus tea and half strawberry lemonade to create a hybrid Arnold Palmer. A nice balance between sweet and tart. A splendid lunch on a beautiful day in El Segundo.

Today’s meal was de-li-cious ! It’s not on the menu but I had the Bad Boy Burger(kale style) with Sweet Potato Fries. When I tell you I did not want it to end! It was sooooooo flavorful. I don’t know if it’s a seasonal item or what but they need to keep it. I like spicy food and it had just the right amount of spice with the Sriracha sauce & jalapeños on it. Other items I’ve enjoyed here were Cauli-Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Coleslaw, Bombay Bowl, Tres Chickin’ Tacos, All Hail Kale Salad, Papas Portobello Sandwich, Santa Fe Crispy Chickin’ Sandwich and also one of my favs the B.T.L.A Sandwich.

My favorite is the buffalo chicken. All of the flavor with none of the guilt! Paired with sweet potato fries, it is the perfect balance between sweet and spicy. The Veggie Grill is perfect for lunch, and you can even throw in a glass of wine before going back to the office. It’ll either keep you going in the afternoon or put you to sleep! Either way, the second half of your day is bound to go by faster — lol!

This place was better than I thought it would be… There wasn’t much of a line and it super close to the job. They have tons of options. But I was super confused, because they referred to things as fish, chicken and bacon, but it is not. I figured it would be spelt different. They do not have carbonated drinks. They serve teas and lemonades. They are delicious and low sugar. I ordered the portabella mushrooms sandwich. It was filling and kept me full the rest of the day. I would have to get use to eating organic ketchup, with my french fries. There is plenty of outdoor seating and heaters on those chiller days.

If your body is in need of some healthy goodness, this is the spot for you. Every veggie grill I’ve been to has been satisfying. You can’t go wrong with this healthy chain. I opted for the kale caesar salad and it was good. After eating it, I feel full and still full of energy. The only downside is that it’s so expensive here. The must get is the strawberry lemonade. It’s like liquid candy and I’m sure it’s packed with sugar but it’s so good.

Veggie Grill is one of my go to vegetarian places! Real meat or not, the«chicken» sandwiches here are amazing! In fact, I actually prefer them over most normal chicken sandwiches. The fake chicken(i think it’s soy?) tastes remarkably similar to real chicken, and is just as flavorful, but without the fat and grease. I usually order the Santa Fe Crispy chicken sandwich or the Bayou chicken. The Bayou chicken has a little bit more flavor, but if you are new to Veggie Grill, I would recommend the Santa Fe just so you can compare how similar it taste to real meat«fake» chicken. The yam fries I’ve ordered with the sandwich also make for a great side dish. I haven’t tried the fake«steak» yet, so I am not sure if it’s as equally delicious. Anyone who has tried it… let me know how it is! The only downside is the price. It’s about $ 10 for a sandwich and fries. I wonder why that is… shouldn’t vegetarian options be more affordable than meat? Regardless, get the carrot cake as well! It’s the best!

We weren’t impressed… Starting with the angry little hipster girl who took our order… Street corn… not so much… I would rather buy it on the street! Caesar salad drenched in dressing! Eww! B wing salad on the other hand had barely any dressing. Avocados on both salads were brownish:-/ I preferred the items on the kids meal… Mac&Cheese was good, sweet potato fries were perhaps the best thing as well as the carrot cake. Meh’

«Youhou ! Excellent !»
