I was excited to go here, but the girl working on my hair (Maggie) gave me a completely different hair look than what I had asked for. I said I wanted medium brown hair color with highlights, and I ended up getting a light brown with a semi-​permanent color in it, when it was pretty obvious I wanted a permanent color. It was a huge waste of money considering the dye washed out in like 2 weeks, and I had to pay $ 150.00 for it. I thought the prices were ridiculous considering I could have gotten better results at a salon that only charges $ 115.00. I don’t know if she put a semi-​permanent color in on purpose so I would have to come back for a permanent color so she could charge me a ton of money, but if that was the case, that tactic definitely didn’t work.

I cannot say enough good things about Studio 890. I’ve always had long hair and I finally decided it was time to give it up. On the recommendation from the receptionist I made an appointment with Mariah. When I got to the salon it was absolutely lovely. Very clean, well decorated and lots of space between stations (so no one can hear you freak out about cutting off all your hair). The staff was not only pleasant but professional. It was a good sign as soon as I walked in.
When I met Mariah, she was so nice and welcoming. She patiently listened to all my suggestions and actually looked at my Pinterest page. She did an amazing job totally transforming both me and my hair and she gave me the exact cut I wanted but adjusted to look the best for my face shape. I look amazing and I feel amazing (even if I cried at first). She is amazing and I am a client for life!

Went for the first time last night, and will definitely be back!
Had a cut and color with Stephanie, and she was great. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and helped me pick a bright new red for my dull-​colored locks. I told her to do whatever she wanted with the cut, so she got rid of all of my dead ends, and added layers. My hair feels so much healthier and softer now, and the color is wonderful :)
Also, the scalp massage with the shampoo is fantastic. The salon is huge and offers a wide variety of spa services that are now on my to do list to check out. Some people wrote that it’s a little pricey, but I think the prices are just about on point for a higher-​quality salon. I paid $ 118 plus tip for an all over color and cut.

Studio 890 is amazing plain and simple! What an awesome experience my first time there. The salon is beautiful but so are the people that work there. Loreen transformed my ugly long long hair into the cutest edgy short hair cut ever! And the color was spot on. Highly recommend that women! The product they have there is also top notch and the prices were reasonable as well! Love that place and I’ll probably never go to another salon as long as they’re there!

Always get a great cut, color. The price is worth it– my haircuts always grow out nicely, so I can stretch how often I come. Mariah is the best! Can’t imagine going anywhere else. Note: The neck massage at the hair wash is also an awesome perk.

I will only get my hair done here. Even I moved across the country, I would still be coming back. My mum has gone here since it opened and I have gone here my whole life. This place is quite pricy, but it is so worth it. I recommend Studio 890 to everyone in the area as they give the best haircuts. The hairdressers are knowledgeable and friendly and the ambiance in this place is a cool mix of chic and trendy. They use Bumble and Bumble products, which I love!
I have gone to many people and Debbie is my favorite. She is the highest level hairdresser, but she is worth it. She always knows what looks best with my face shape and I often let her cut it the way she thinks will look best. I’ve never been disappointed.

Best eyebrow wax I’ve had in a long time. Amanda was attentive, friendly, and fast. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a perfect wax. Often when I leave a salon after an eyebrow wax I need to take my tweezers out when I get home to tweak a few spots. No need to do that this time! Also, an upscale salon with reasonable prices. At least for the wax. Only paid $ 15, which is much less expensive then the $ 19 and up other salons in this area charge. The only downfall of the entire visit was that the receptionists weren’t overly friendly. However, I’m a stickler for customer service so someone else may not have been as bothered by them. Not that they were rude, but certainly didn’t make you feel as though they were happy to see you. Kind of made me feel uncomfortable to inquire about hair prices, but I did anyhow and they gave me enough information before leaving. Still, I can deal with less-​than-​excited receptionists if it means I get good quality work. The salon is also in a very cute shopping center. I’m looking forward to going back in spring to mosey around the shops. Good spot for a shopping and pampering day with the girls!

Been coming hear for years. Great clean place. I’m known by name and always treated great. A little pricey thou $ 30 for mens haircut but I think it’s worth it

This is a GREAT salon! I have been going here for years and cannot believe there are so few reviews. The work in the salon is consistently excellent no matter what service you choose. From hair to nails, to massages, this place rocks!

I came here as part of an 8-​woman bridal party plus bride and moms, which basically meant we took over the entire place, complete with our own buffet picnic we toted along… and Studio 890 was GREAT!
I hardly ever write reviews, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to shower love on my hair stylist. Mallory is a HAIR GENIUS. She invested some serious time in my superlong hair, and gave me the most amazing and beautiful updo I’ve ever received. I showed her a picture that I had on my phone of a style I loved for about 15 seconds, and she perfectly replicated it on my head– I LOVED IT, and I LOVED HER– sweet and lovely and patient and great to work with, which worked out really well since she spent an hour and a half on my hair. Also, my makeup artist was great, too! Overall wonderful experience.
