Came in here and before I even ordered the lady asked me if I’m taking it to go… I didn’t even order and it’s not even 9 yet. I asked if its possible to eat here right now and she said yess… With an attitude. It caused a lot of tension.

This is actually a real Colombian oriented bakery not like others around the neighborhood that claim but sell other things. ive been coming here since before High school … 1999… yes Im getting old . Newtown HS around the block… Prices are cheap… good food, breakfast, staff is great… . Bad part is far from my house now jajjajaja :(… huevos pericos !!! Empanadas de pollo, queso, carne… etc.

What an awesome staff. We didn’t know what anything was and we didn’t speak Spanish and the girl there tried to explain everything as best as she could. The customers were even super nice and tried to help us out. We ended up getting the mango empanada and pao de quiejo which were both okay. We also got this weird pudding corn honey cinnamon orange drink thing, which was very, very strange — Lots of other things looked good too — I’m sure if you ask they’ll tell you what it is!

To be perfectly honest, I don’t know if I can evaluate all of this place’s products. I would go back however just for the arepa de choclo which was right on the money. Very friendly staff, right across the street from the Chan Meditation Center.

I live only one block away from this tiny spanish bakery and it is quite lovely. The girl working at the bakery station is sweet. I tried their strawberry short cake and tiramisu which were nice.
