I enjoyed a really tasty cheeseburger from the Moonlight Snack Bar. It was grass fed beef and you pick the toppings. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and the bun was really fresh and good. I was quite surprised to be this satisfied with a beach snack shack.

The cool 50 year old snack bar at Moonlight beach was remodeled in 2013 as part of a $ 4.8 million dollar renovation project. This beautiful beach now has a top notch snack bar! You will pay a lot for the fast food, but parking is sketchy so if you have your spot then you will not want to drive off to get food.
With about 300 beach days every year, this snack bar is a great addition to Encinitas.
