I love St. Tropez in Encinitas. Try the Pesto, Salmon Omelette. Tha Acai bowls are also great.

A perfectly good little bistro. I always wish San Diego had more true French Restaurants, but hey I’ll take a good little french bistro for a quiche or a croque monsieur as well! If that makes me biased, well I don’t care=) We tried the turkey mushroom, spinach as well as the goat cheese quiches. All tasty little morsels. The chocolate brownie bite was ok but the lemon square was the right amount of tangy. Thumbs up!

I love this place! The salads are amazing and fresh! I’ve been coming here for a few, years now and have never been disappointed. The staff has always been very friendly and service great.

They mess up our order almost every time we have gone, forgotten to make cakes on several different occasions! This place should be closed on account of rudeness and ignorance to the customers and their orders!

CHECKYOURTAKEOUTORDERBEFORELEAVING. I ordered 4 cakes for take out, paid 20 dollars and when I took out the cakes for dessert with company — Sunday lunch — 2 out of the 4 cakes were the wrong ones, I would not have thought it would be so difficult :(Unfortunately, too late and too far to get them exchanged.

If you want a good breakfast while sitting outdoors in a beautiful courtyard, then you want to go to St. Tropez. If you want a good dinner in a quaint little place, then you want to go to St. Tropez. If you want good pastries and bakery items, then you DEFINITELY want to go to St. Tropez. This is one of my FAVS!!!

Not real friendly, had to get our own menu Food came cold. Wife’s coffee cold My English Muffins not toasted enough and ice cold. One of my two eggs(over easy) yoke was broken and you guest it, cold. Asked for jelly twice since waiter forgot. Had better experience the last time we went. Do not think we will try again.

After my airport pick up, my aunt brought me here for lunch. Great little bistro! Good selection of meat and vegetarian options. My «Provence» panini was so tasty, I really liked it. The full-size sandwich portion was plenty for me along with the salad and light vinaigrette. On our way out, I got a couple macarons for the drive home: passion fruit and coconut. YUM!

I don’t think I will be coming here for pastries anymore. I’m frankly fed up with the inconsistent quality. I believe St Tropez doesn’t make them but orders them from a bakery. I strongly feel that they should find a new vendor. Sometimes the pastries are really good, but often they are smaller than usual, or too salty, or stale, or dense like bread rather than flakey. Whoever is making these pastries obviously has no pride in their work and is willing to just distribute whatever mistakes they have made that morning. I do not recommend the crepes which are too thick, but I do recommend the feta omelets here. The ambiance can be good, but sometimes it is too crowded or cold and once there was a man playing drums and keyboard very loudly and terribly next to the restaurant on a busy Saturday.

Wanted to really like this place but I didn’t think it was that great. The custard brioche was soooo dry and so was the coffee cake. The ham and cheese croissant was ok. The lentil soup was really bland. The vanilla iced coffee was descent.

I went for a light lunch and I got exactly that — plus nutrients and yumminess! Have you tried their chickpea soup /salad combo? You should. It comes with yummy bread — that tastes freshly made(and is soft and perfectly yeast-y). The soup broth is not salty — earthy. The chickpeas have a non-can texture — they are fresh(not too soggy or too firm)! My favorite is that none of the chickpeas had their casing — a pet peeve of mine! To be honest, I can’t say much about the salad because I didn’t try it(even though it looked tasty). In any case, I recommend the chickpea soup.

Haven’t been here in a while; came for breakfast yesterday and it was as if no time had passed. Still same great menu – had the CA Bennie – yum! Quick service, good food, great outdoor patio area to enjoy the balmy morning… a consistent favorite!

Very nice place, good food but the service is questionable. They completely forgot about me and it’s not the first time. I’m probably invisible.

We love this little nice spot in Encinitas! The shopping center where St. Tropez is located, is really awesome. There’s a nice spice shop and chocolate shop that we always end up visiting after our meal in St. Tropez. Anyways, back to St. Tropez. The Nutella crêpe and all the quiche are soooo good! Don’t skip the coffee, so far my favorite is their iced vanilla latte. On a nice day, get a seat outdoors and if you’re lucky, there’ll be live music playing on the courtyard.

Chicken and mushroom Crêpe and Apple caramel crêpe where delicious, French onion soup and ratatouille where good too. Freshly made as advertised! Coffee was not so great but Starbucks is next door. Lots of great seating outside, got to see large groups of cyclist, people with dogs can also eat out. Location is good!

Really expensive. Good food and baked sweets, but not a great value. Example: nutella crêpe for over 8 bucks, but barely any nutella in it(a jar at the store is 4 bucks and could fill 20 crepes). Don’t cheap out, if you charge a premium. The public restroom across the walkway is basically a bum hangout. They were washing themselves in the sinks the last time. Super shady, Encinitas PD need to clean that place up. Good service for a small cute place like this and they have a good selection.

Looking for a restaurant that has a nice balance between being home grown and fitting for a tourist. St. Tropez is your spot. And this place gets packed. Packed people! But the staff is very efficient, so the line always moves quickly. Plus, between the interior, patio and open seating outside, there seems always to be a table that is clearing out. And don’t let the name fool you. This place isn’t so fancy pants. Goodness, I have even seen people in line with no shoes on! Yes, completely barefoot. Perhaps that is the local thing to do? I have visited on multiple occasions. I enjoy the quiches and the eggs benedict. The side of salmon is just OK — I would prefer lox on the side, but this is all they offer by way of the side of salmon. Also, I find that the side, at something like $ 5, is a bit too, too steep a cost. The salmon isn’t seasoned or pampered in any way, but you do get a sizable order, which is fitting for sharing. The quiches and the eggs benedict are quite lovely. I love the quiches especially. Nice size, decent price and always with options for fillings. Very, very wonderful. I found that the egg benedict was almost perfect. The muffin, egg and ham were prepared just right! I wanted even more eggs, actually. But the hollandaise? It seemed strangely… dry. As though the butter was missing. I hadn’t experienced that before. The fruit is very fresh and just so, so wonderful. So, yes, good find. In all, I very much appreciate this place. And I so enjoy seeing that people will bring their toddlers and pooches to enjoy their days in the sun. Certainly worth at least one visit.
