BevMo!

Purchased a black caviar here and they gave me one that was expiring in about a month. Caviar shouldn’t expire so soon and they showed me the average is five month life. I do have 90 days as it states on the receipt to return it, but no, not here. After wasting so much time, they completely refused to take back expired caviar and costed me $ 108. Got it for some special occasion in the future, I guess should’ve been more alert with this place. Caveat Emptor!!!

One of the bigger BevMo locations that I’ve been too. I had a birthday coupon for this month, so I decided to stock up on some drinks. They have a larger selection of wine, a few aisles in the back for beer and a couple of liquor aisles.
They have labels on some of the beers made from local breweries such as angel city and Coronado brewing. The angel city pilsner is really good.
I also found a chardonnay that I have been searching for forever! I had tried the BevMo in Van Nuys as well as cost plus to no avail but found it here. I was so excited, I got 2 bottles.
They also had a cool St. Patrick’s day display set up with Irish whiskey for seasonal purposes which was smart. The staff here is friendly and consistently asked me if I needed any help. I had a great experience here and would come back in the future for any alcohol needs.

Stopped in today to get my daughter a bottle of fireball for her birthday tomorrow.
I come here every now and then and they are always friendly. Great selection, never a long wait and good amount of parking. They always have great prices on liquor, and if you are a Bevmo member even better.

This is a pretty good place to shop for wine. But be sure you know what you want, or else shop price, because what the employees know about wine could fit under your thumbnail. Also, beware of the $ 0.05 sales — if you have Vivino or some other way to check prices, you’ll find that the stated price plus five cents isn’t that much different from what you’d pay for two bottles somewhere else. Also, it’s happened a couple of times that at the register, a price rings up that is higher than the price on the tag on the shelf. I have yet to see it give a discount. So, keep your eyes open, know what you want, and be slightly aware.

How can you ever go wrong with a one stop super store with what seems to be any and every alcohol option you could ever want!
I love the .05 wine sale which they offer on many of the selections. Recently I tried the Unruly brand and I have to say for an inexpensive wine, it’s pretty good! Not to overbearing and has soft berry notes. I also love the Apothic brand for a affordable wine. Both are really good!
The staff is pretty great as well, I was searching for a whisky and I literally had a couple letters to go by and they found what i was looking for! I was quite impressed.
I’m sure there are many less expensive liquor spots but this is my go to place because the staff is always helpful, quick to help with options and they have a great variety which makes finding something new and experimenting quite easy.

Good as place as any for the 5 cent sale. So far the staff I’ve dealt with are always friendly and try their best but sadly I have yet to find anyone who has wine knowledge. So come prepared to Vivino if you have a wine question.

Got some raspberry beer from Bevmo! So good… they also sell chocolate wine. The options are endless!

I called in looking for a specific type of beer and I was so excited that the person who answered said they had it. When I came in and looked for it, it happened to be the wrong beer. Same name, surprisingly, just spelled differently and from a different company. It was still German ale which was pretty cool since the beer that I was looking for German ale as well.
I was pretty bummed that they didn’t carry my beer but I was content that there was someone to help me look for it and I couldn’t ask for me. Also, happy this BevMo carries Effen Vodka… Which is a total plus in my book.

Great place amazing selection of good quality liqueur of any type, I personally love their tequila selection it is good has something for any price range.
Most of the crew is experienced and helpful especially the store managers
They will match prices so you don’t need to drive to costco or any other place for good prices

This store has a great selection. I always find what I need and the staff is extremely helpful. Melissa (I think that’s her name) is super sweet and her opinions are always helpful. If I’m going to be picking up a drink that isn’t stored cold but needs to be before drinking, I will call ahead and they will place whatever it is in the fridge so it’s nice a cold for me!

I seriously just LOVE Bevmo! Whoever thought of making a GIANT supermarket solely for alcohol-​related products is genius. This location is GINORMOUS! We came for their summer 5 cent sale and you bet we took advantage of it!
Rows after rows of wine, spirits, and beer – doesn’t get any better than that. All their isles are organized perfectly for easy browsing. Their cold beer section in the refrigerators was not that great – we were surprised to see that they didn’t have a super great variety of 6 packs. I guess you can get a room temperature 6 pack in the other isles, but still… we wanted cold beer!
This location also had a fantastic selection of cheese and crackers. We picked up a wedge of Spicy Buffalo Cheddar (so so so good) and a Brie, along with some water crackers. Service was fast and we were warmly greeted when we entered. Once the lines started getting about 4-​customers long, they opened up another register which was really nice. We always leave SUPER HAPPY CAMPERS!

This one is in a great location, with a huge parking lot. The employees were always around for questions, and the selection was great.

Clean and tidy store but the selection just doesn’t compare to total wine.
Just a pit stop on the way to a party. Can’t come empty handed.

Is it even possible to write a poor review for what is essentially a giant liquor/​wine/​spirits warehouse?! I think not.
BevMo! is yet another prime example of what is missing on the East coast… and why I’m glad I made the migration across the country. The staff here is always nice, and usually helpful (though they sometimes have just as much trouble finding things as you do). What I like most about BevMo!, however, is that they not only sell alcohol, but also alcohol accessories, mixers and snacks. I’ve also heard they have wine & beer tastings on Fridays, though I haven’t had the chance to check it out yet. The prices are pretty average, and the store is clean. What more could you want?

Crown Royal released their new whiskey drink, «Maple Finished». I’ve been searching most of the day and most places did not have it. I tried BevMo in Van Nuys, but they didn’t have it. So, the Van Nuys location directed me to BevMo Encino! (Love the Rhyme)
Sorry, Unilocalers! I have been out of the Unilocal Reviews for awhile and I hope to continue writing since I’ve got a busy life outside of Unilocal.
This BevMo is located on the north side of Ventura Blvd. The BevMo parking lot is pretty big, but since it was 11am, I was the only one buying so early. Early is very relative. I walked in and saw alcohol heaven. Well, most places that carry alcohol is heaven or a haven. I spoke with the one of the BevMo employees to help me find the Crown Royal Maple Finished Whiskey.
I was assisted by the lovely, Deb. She helped me get two Crown Royal Maple Finished ($ 24.99 regular/​$ 22.99 ClubBev Discount) out of the glass case with the other Crown Royal Brands. She was a doll helping me and giving me advice on other drinks. She had suggested Junior Johnson’s CatDaddy Moonshine ($ 21.99 regular/​$ 18.99 ClubBev). I have never had moonshine, but after writing this review, I might disappear and be Andy Griffith’s Otis.
Deb rang my order up to a total of $ 70.82. She also told me that this location does Beer Tasting ($ 1) on Friday’s from 4pm to 7pm and Wine Tasting ($ 2) from 1pm to 5pm. I told her that I’ll be coming back more often. She even said that their location is better than Van Nuys… lol. Well, I will believe her since she suggested a lot of items for me on my first visit.
Overall, I am looking forward to coming back and purchasing more. I am just trying to find my drink just like the Dos Equis Guy.
