I love Carl’s but Service is slow and the place is dirty. Bathrooms no comment. I wish someone read the comments.

Not only did I feel the need to wipe down the table I decided to sit at because none of the tables were clean(not even busy) but while eating I noticed silverfish crawling on the table. How does this store have an «A» rating? I’ll be sure to ask the public health team. I stopped eating right after seeing that. I can only imagine how many bugs are in the kitchen.

No malt for the malts. The window says ice coffee $ 1 but the charged $ 2 each unless corrected. Dark place. Original light bulbs from 1940. No napkin.

I haven’t been since this occasion about 4 months ago, but it was such an… ordeal, that I feel compelled to share now that I’ve finally signed up for a Unilocal account. Upon walking in, an employee was sleeping at one of the tables. I figured, ok a bit weird, but not my place to judge. Until I noticed the coke that she had spilled all over the table and was dripping down the sides onto the booth chairs. I go up to the counter to order, where I accidentally interrupt the server arguing with a man. They both freeze and stare at me, before the man hurries off out the store. I order, and while I’m waiting head over to the bathroom. On my way to the bathroom, I notice there is trash EVERYWHERE. There’s a dishevelled man sitting in a booth occasionally letting out sobs, and one of the booths was in need of repair, with sawdust littering the floor where the wood was rotting. In the bathroom itself, someone’s died their hair in the sink and left it black, and it hasn’t been cleaned up. The urinal won’t flush. The lights are flickering. I get the hell out of there, grab my food, and leave. The food was OK, though I’m worried about its safety for consumption now that I’ve seen the inside of the restaurant. I probably won’t ever be back to this location.

It’s a necessary evil of my profession that I sometimes have to grab food on the go. And places like this remind me why I don’t like ordering from a drive-thru window. They are careless and reckless with the health of their customers here, and clearly couldn’t care less if they tried. Today I went through the drive-through and ordered a quick lunch, including some of their deep-fried zucchini. Driving off, I started to pick up the zucchini and quickly noticed that they tasted strange. They were cold, damp and left a «creamy» sensation in my mouth. After three successive«wrong» bites, I pulled over to look carefully at what I was eating. They were still partially frozen, grayish-white in color(zucchini should be green!) and coated in uncooked, damp bread crumbs. Absolutely disgusted, I returned to the restaurant, parked, went inside and asked to speak to the manager. He dithered for a bit, offered no apology or remedy, and then(clearly reluctantly) finally gave me a refund. I told him that if I ended up in the hospital with food poisoning, he would be hearing about it. Don’t eat here. Just don’t. Not if you value the health and comfort of your digestive system…

Place is run down. Chipped tiles, GROSSGROSSGROSS bathrooms. I wouldn’t use it, was afraid I’d catch an STD. Walls were dirty, tables were dirty. Lady starts to SWEEP the carpet, bringing all kinds of trash into the air. Swept right over my feet. No salad bar. Restaurant was filled with smoke, seems like the employees were burning the food

I will never return to this location again. I used to come here all the time when I lived here years ago and it was fine, but my experience recently was the worst I’ve ever had. The bun on my burger was stale and the meat was cold. My friend’s tortilla was literally moldy(not the type of «Green Burrito» she was wanting) and the WORST was my daughter’s burrito, which had a hole in it, which we discovered was caused by someones finger being poked through it. How did we discover it was from a finger being poked through it? Because she found«a piece of plastic» inside, which, upon examining it, I discovered was actually a used band-aid. GROSS. As I said, I will NEVER go to this location again.

Aweful. How could you get so many things wrong?! EVERY hamburger was wrong, no salt on the fries, sodas the wrong size… & coke that tastes like coconut!!! whaaaa? We tried waiting over ten minutes for our onion rings… until we just gave up & left. For forty bucks?!? Never again.

WORSTCARLS Jr. I have ever eaten at. Do yourself a favor and run… Here is my story: Walked in, it was a mess– used the bathroom to wash my hands, it was gross. Finally got around to ordering, she enters it wrong and blames it on me that i ordered wrong, finally does enter it «correctly.» Obviously over working there, and not caring… I get my order, it was entered wrong, again– ***ASWELLAS made incorrectly because I was charged for cheese on my receipt which was extra, and that never made it on to either burger… There were 4 individuals working that i saw– none of them wanted to be there, none of them cared– and all of the«how did we do» cards where i could register a complaint were«missing» or «removed…» Or whatever. Long story short NEVEREATHERE. Its really terrible. Carls Jr. Corporate should be embarrassed. Seriously.

This Carl’s Jr. location is not very clean and the food was partially unwrapped(I have taken photos of this as well) The bathroom there was horridly unclean, graffitied and there was only one stall in the men’s restroom. I was very disappointed overall. The staff was kind enough though.

I occasionally go here because it is close to home and McDonald’s literally makes my stomach queasy. I ordered the western bacon cheeseburger, criss cut fries, and a Sprite. When I pulled up to the window the cashier confirmed my order and handed me my drink as I paid. While he was getting my food I took a sip of the drink. Blech! Carbonated water. The Sprite machine was out of syrup. So I had them swap it for something else. In the meantime, my food came and everything seemed fine. When I got home I noticed my criss cut fries had been replace by regular fries and my burger was now a Famous Star. This is the second time this location has messed up my order with another customer’s order.

Came to this location on Ventura after having just moved back from Chicago and I was not impressed. Mainly bc my 5pc tenders were way over cooked and kinda burnt. The only thing I liked was the wide variety of coke products

Just rip this place down already. This Carl’s Jr. is disgusting. The bathrooms are crawling and the service is ridiculously bad. At 8pm I’m the only soul in this place, and I’m realizing now that it is for good reason. Won’t be back here again… gross.

Worst customer service ever! If there was a negative star rating this one would definatley get –5. Super slow drive through. When you pull up they literally ask«what do you want» you have to repeat your order and then they dont give you an amount or tell you to pull forward. Then once you are at the window you will sit there for 10 minutes, before they take your money, then at least another 5 before you get your food. Awful. Awful. Plus they are supposed to be open 24 hours but when I drive by in the mornings all the lights are off. Probably to deter customers so they dont have to work since it seems to bother them.

Nice job tonight! I’ve bagged on this location, so it’s only fair to share a good experience too. Guy working the window was super polite! 6-dollar burger ordered no mayo or cheese. They actually got it right! Hot, not squished down, actually looked like the photos. Keep it up!

One of the 5 star review came from the employee or a homeless dude. I think everyplace he has ever been in his lifetime, got really bad customer service, that’s why he doesn’t know… even in a fast food chain people get great customer service. Most of the Carls Jr have same wages, but their servers are not old Hispanic irritated lady. They love their job & they deliver great customer service with edible food How on earth this place is still open, that’s not a mystery anymore. Homeless people love this joint & they give 5 stars! They mess up your order, microwave most of the foods, bad attitude, rude servers, filthy tables & chairs, corporate never bothers the employees & manager definitely hired his/her friends & family. Waiting to see some change in this location. It’s close to my work & I love Carls Jr

The worst Carl’s Jr I’ve ever been visited. To keep it short they burned my codfish and my onion rings so bad I couldn’t eat them. Since I was near the Carl’s at Tampa and Victory, once I realized it, I went there to see if they would replace my food. After asking the manager nicely she agreed. Thank You! But to the Carl’s crew at the Encino location, you guys have a long way to go to call that food, acceptable!
