This is one of our new favorite places. We came for lunch on a Friday. The service was top notch. Our server was friendly and welcoming. After telling her it was our first time there she told us all about the place. They have great food and a good beer selection but are especially known for their ciders. I had the pork sandwich and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both were excellent and reasonable priced. What was really amazing were the desserts. We shared a slice of the pecan pie with bourbon and brown sugar whipped cream. Looking forward to trying the buttermilk pie. We will definitely be back.

By far, some of the best cider around! Great atmosphere, unique flavors! We make it a regular stop!

Love this place! Great kind staff, delicious ciders and beers, and the bbq is really good. Can’t go wrong to bring family and friends here to hang out or to watch a game! Glad we found this place. Sliders and the Summer Mustache fusion are great orders!

My husband and I have been here a few times now and are just thrilled that there’s a place like this out here finally. He loves the selection of Belgian beers, and I like getting a different type of cider. Both the soft pretzels with mustard and the pulled pork sandwiches are so good we haven’t bothered to try anything else on the menu. I also appreciate the lack of distracting TVs everywhere.

When family or friends come into town we always go here food is excellent and staff is great! We love the beer and pizza. The pretzels always make for good selfies and are delish! It’s always full on the weekends so go early if you want a seat.

I don’t give 5 stars often, at all? This place is perfect if you want a great beer selection and pretty good pizza. The smoked chicken wings are great. I’m a pizza snob, so saying the pizza is good is a rarity. Good place for couple or families. The owners totally get it: service, food, etc. you order everything at the bar so if you want table service this isn’t the right place. And, downtown Erie is a cool and upcoming place. Nice atmosphere, especially for beer drinking families with kids!

I can’t even think of where to start. Ribs!?! BBQ Sauce selection? St. Bernardus Abt 12& Handlebar Cider(«Belgum Apple») on a sunny afternoon? It’s ALL good. Location, Ambiance, Sweet’s next door, Beers on tap as well as rare bottled selection. Did I mention the ribs… ;) Oh and the mustache-shaped pretzels too!

Tried the pork sandwich last night and it was excellent! They have a great selection of drinks — from cider to dark beer. I enjoyed the considerable amount of space to hang out either by the bar or out back. Lots of families w/kids here, so take that into account — this isn’t downtown Boulder/Denver. I think it’s a perfect place to chill with friends or family, with ice cream next door!

A group of friends and I stopped in The Old Mine for some post-hike libations. It was love at first cider. My boyfriend and I shared a flight, plus their mustache-shaped pretzels. Everything was fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect, and we all had a wonderful time. I wish this place was closer to home, because I would be a frequent visitor.

Food was excellent. They have some cider and beer fusions that were awesome. The back garden was absolutely beautiful until the invasion! There were kids running everywhere! NO parental supervision. The kids were jumping from bench to bench and then onto the Adirondack chairs. One child actually fell into our table and still no parent coming over to see if their son was ok. I would give more stars, but this completely ruined the experience. Lawsuit waiting to happen!

Stopped by on a Sunday around 3pm. The place was pretty much empty. The interior is über cute, with exposed brick walls and plants on each table. I loved the cider that was on the sweeter side, and was very impressed by their patio out back. What I was even more impressed with was their smoked chicken sandwich and the accompanying sauces. I happen to be a condiment freak, so having a variety of sauces to choose from really tickles my fancy. But the smoked chicken; SO good. I will definitely come back!

I go with a group of kntting friends every Monday night. Really enjoy our time here. Only a few minor complaints. — The big middle table, while awesome for groups such as ours– the chairs are too tall for shorties like me(and several others from our group) My legs fall asleep every time we sit in them. — The lighting could be a little better. Dave is always sweet enough to increase the lighting for us knitters when asked though. — The chairs make WAY too much noise on the cement floors when moved. Its always jarring to hear when you don’t expect it. I recently tried their street tacos and was VERY impressed, very tasty! Love the Alpine pizza as well. Also its nice to have a place with gluten free options for our allergy friends ;) I always fill a growler for my husband on my way out. :)

It’s places like this that are turning me into a cider fan. Gone are the days where cider was the last thing left in the ice chest after tailgating because Ted’s girlfriend is gluten free and«can’t» drink beer. Thanks Ted for using up all the ice chest space and drinking all the craft beer you didn’t bring. Enough about Ted, there are more cider options now and they are getting better and better! The cider at Old Mine is on the same trajectory as craft beer. By this I mean it’s getting more interesting and more and more complex. They offer some standard ciders but also have some barrel aged options as well. The whiskey aged cider was boozey but not overpowering and still able to taste the flavors. The hopped cider was interesting and had just the right amount of hoppness. Those were the standouts, but everything was on point. The beer … So along with making cider they have one hell of a tap and bottle list. 120 Minute on tap, what? Limited releases from the Bruery, yeah NBD. Rotating Crooked Stave handle, yeah that’s there too. There is something for everyone on tap … and if there is not, the bottle list will provide the answer. The back patio is top notch and perfect for hanging out. There are a dozen or so tables outside along with some patio games. All in all this a cool spot to drink some cider/beer get some food and enjoy some Colorado weather.

I really enjoyed my lunch here. The Jurassic pork sandwich was tasty and a pretty good deal at $ 8 with choice of side(coleslaw or chips). Nice toasted buns, excellent sauce selection. The coleslaw could have had more zing for my taste. Overall, it was a pretty hearty lunch, I didn’t have to eat the whole thing to be full but I couldn’t help myself! Service was great. Kevin was friendly and told me about their BBQ sauces, which they make in house. The Memphis style was my favorite. I tasted their small batch cider which is aged in tequila barrels and this batch had added strawberries and lime. Sweet, refreshing and delicious! It was a little early in the day for me to really start drinking but I’m looking forward to returning and trying more.

I was really surprised by how much I loved this quaint little bar in old town Erie. From the service to the amazing food I could go on and on. I loved the coziness of the brick walls and mixture of wood and metal. They brew their own cider and it was excellent! I am normally not a beer drinker but their Colorado Snakebite was fabulous. It’s a mixture of milk stout and their hard cider. Yummy! I tried their Mediterranean salad and ate every bite. Then we shared the No. 1 Mine pizza. The red sauce is excellent mixed with mozzarella, Jurassic Pork, pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, and fresh Basil. Needless to say it was completely gone. lol! We will be back for sure. Look on line before you go because they have special events that are super fun. My new favorite pizza and beer joint in Denver metro !

Came in last month to try the ciders and was dissatisfied. Three options were on tap, one of which tasted remarkably like vinegar I also attempted to point out to the staff that two taps seemed to be pouring the same beverage, but without checking I was told that ‘we don’t make mistakes’ and shrugged off. There were some good guest taps available albeit At higher prices than I’ve seen at comporable tap rooms, but with such lackluster service, ciders & pizza I doubt I will be returning in the near future.

I came here for the cider, a quick stop between Denver and Fort Collins. a few minutes out of the way. Nice place, cute little old town, reasonable ciders and a pretty impressive beer list. Food was ok — we had a garlic bread and it was bready, garlicy and cheesy. Friendly people, worth stopping in!(nice glasses with moustaches!)

WARNING… Not sure how this gets such great ratings — must be the owners friends. Not that this place is «bad» but it is a VERYBASIC bar that serves 5 food items(yes, really), below average food, and prices are too high for what you get. I won’t be going back. There are much better options that are only a 10 – 15 minute drive away. Allow me to explain… Cheese Pizza: 2⁄5 had good flavor but the crust was soggy. They put 2x too much sauce on it. Old Mine Pizza: 0⁄5 WAY too much BBQ and WAYTOLITTLE Pork. All you could taste was BBQ. And, yes, it was SOGGY too. Coleslaw 1⁄5 Flavor was fine but it was $ 2 for a tiny cup. Seriously! This is literally 50 cents at any expensive sandwich shop. Diet Coke — $ 2 for a bottle that costs $ 1 out of a vending machine. Ciders 3⁄5 I tried 3 different ones. The only one I liked was Sweet Tart; it was very good. The others were not«bad» just below average for ciders I’ve had. Still, these are overpriced… especially the limited editions.

I really liked this location. It has a very nice feel inside the building. They only make their own cider, no craft beers of their own. However, they do carry a nice assortment of craft brews from other breweries from everywhere, not just Colorado. I am not a fan of the chairs they have at the tables in there. They are like giant metal high chairs! I have short legs, and it was extremely hard to climb up into one, and my feet did not hit the bar at the bottom, so all I could do was dangle them like a child. Also, no bar to sit at either. Half the fun is a bar. We did not order food, but the pizza smelled great. Nice happy hour. I believe it was 4 – 6 p.m. Cider was around $ 6 regular and a beer about the same. Two dollars off at Happy Hour.
