We tried the twenty piece bucket, fries and Cole slaw. It isn’t something we would eat all the time but for what it is it was fine.

I have eaten at Guthrie’s twice and both meals were delicious. The chicken fingers and fries are served fresh and hot with a slice of toast, cole slaw and dipping sauce. Very friendly service and extremely clean dining room. I highly recommend their food and will be back.

We live close by and wanted to grab something different for dinner. Wow we we surprised! We figured chicken fingers are chicken fingers. Not the case at all. The chicken fingers are juicy and moist. The special sauce is amazing and I am super picky! The staff is super friendly and the place was clean. We will definitely be back.

Just visited the new Guthrie’s on Mineola Pk. Don’t think I’ll have a need to go back. First, just fried chicken on the menu. Chicken fingers are over $ 1.00 per, they are small, without flavor & the sauce is Cajun, & that was extra w/an order or 4. Additionally, they don’t offer BBQ sauce or honey mustard. The menu is very limited. I didn’t see a salad. It’s in an out-of-the-way place too. Chic-Fil-A is so much better. I wish them luck.

A little out of the way but they serve delicious chicken — similar to Cane’s but I like their fries better! Menu is simple, service is friendly and they have the«good» nugget style ice! I’ve stopped in a few times and always had consistently good food!

Wow! I may have finally found a chicken joint that has a better sauce than Raising Cane’s! The sauce is very similar to Cane’s except it has black pepper in it. I like the extra kick! The Cole slaw is also wayyyy better than Cane’s. However, Cane’s chicken is bigger, crisper and juicer. Much fresher over-all. I like Guthrie’s batter more though. The fries were very good as well. Sweet tea was not as sweet as Cane’s which I like. As for the toast, I don’t know. I don’t eat toast. I definitely prefer Guthrie’s Chicken over Cane’s and Zaxbys.

Working directly down the road from this restaurant, I was pretty excited to see new options coming in! One of my co-workers was SO stoked about this restaurant, I couldn’t wait to try it. Going in– you see that the menu is quite limited. Chicken tenders or a chicken tender sandwich… that’s what you get. I got the box, which was surprisingly a lot of food for a fair price: 5 tenders, crinkle fries, cole slaw, and TX toast. They are quite proud of the secret sauce that comes with the tenders. I don’t know what it was– but I did like it! The cole slaw and TX toast were both juicy(in different ways) and delicious. The fries were pretty non-descript. As for the chicken– it was a nice piece of meat… but it was heavily breaded in a very crunchy shell. I’m not big on crunch– so I was a little put off by that. It was still quite tasty– and with enough sauce, I could almost ignore the texture. The food was pretty good. I think my co-worker got my hopes up a little too high– though she stands by her enthusiasm. Solely based on location– I will certainly go back.

Guthrie’s just opened on 10/19/2015. Soon they will be competing with Raising Caine’s when it opens in Florence so I can’t help but compare the restaurant TO Raising Caine’s as they are the exact same type of food — a Chicken finger/tender joint. Being a fan of Raising Caine’s in Columbus, OH myself, I thought I’d try the place out today to see how they stack up to the coming competition. The tenders were every bit as juicy and tasty. The contents of their meal, The Box, contained about 5 tenders, fries, a slice of toast, coleslaw and their signature sauce. I, not being a fan of condiments, cannot comment on their sauce. I feel like Caine’s has the upper hand on the sides and variety of sizes of their combos. The toast and fries are tastier than Guthrie’s although Guthrie’s sides were still good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean(better be after only being open a week!). We shall see who reigns supreme once Caine’s opens but I suspect Caine’s will seeing as they are in a prime location on Mall Rd. whereas Guthrie’s is sort of hidden being on Minneola Pk.
