Jack In the Box

The food at jack in the box always sucks, but I figured I’d eat here cause it was open. The service was great and expedient. It seemed clean enough in the inside.
This place gets one star because it is riddled with obvious drug activity. I could get past that if it wasn’t for the fact that I felt so unsafe eating here.

We actually come here fairly regularly although it’s probably my least favorite Jack. This is one of the hang outs for the homeless in Escondido and I have to say that it is nice of Jack in the Box in general to let homeless hang — this seems to be common throughout San Diego and it doesn’t bother me, but it might bother others.
What does bother me is that what is up with fast food places being so dirty? It’s not just here, although, this one is definitely one that has the dirty tables. It’s gotten so that I won’t even eat at a fast food place without cleaning my table and chairs with a handiwiper. I know this makes me seem kind of weird, but I just don’t care. they really don’t clean these places very well… wiping tables down a few times a day with a dirty rag just isn’t cool
As for the food, it’s the same as all the Jacks. nothing different, nothing new. i will say that it was nice last weekend when we ate here that the woman that rang us up actually knew what she was doing. it’s become super common at jack in the Box restaurants for the cashiers to be clueless.
Also, put the tea next to the soda machine already. Hate having someone else pour my tea for me. This place is okay and I will continue to come here, but it’s just not my fave.

The Male Manger During The Day «Cool» He Was Friendly Wich Is Pretty Great For Fast Food. The Bathroom Facility Was Very Clean For The Area\+ Been A Fast Food Restaurant

this visit today was great. restaurant was super clean, food great, & the cashier went out her way to help me being that i’m in a wheelchair.

The best part of my lunch was finding a frozen French fry in my taco! I’ll definitely think twice before eating here again… Smh

Poor quality food. Always homeless people hanging around. Slow drive thru service. Don’t go here!

I have not visited this location in a while. I pulled up and several homeless people were outside along with a cart. Upon entering the store, I could see a man sleeping at a booth in the lobby. Several people were inside obviously before going to work. The lobby was clean and it smelled fresh. The bathroom was very clean as well. My order was made correctly. The food was fresh and the cashier was friendly and quick. Good customer service, I don’t think there is much they can do about the people hanging around outside. None of them asked for money and when I said good morning, so did everyone else.

jacks bomb, good munchies. I usually visit the felicita location. 2 stars because of the amount of condiments I was given for my pretty good order. I’m sure between my double cheeseburger and jumbo jack any reasonable human being would need more than 3 ketchup packets. Very annoying, what could an extra 2 ketchup a possibly cost

This Jack location is straight in the ghetto of Escondido. There’s always sketchy people (meth heads) hanging out in front of this restaurant. The drive thru is your safest and fastest way to get your food here. The food is decent and the customer service is okay. Just try to visit this place in the day time.

Everytime I come here they mess up my order. And the people at the drive thru cut you off mid sentence asking you questions. Let me finish talking already! I never receive tacos when I order them. I always forget how much I hate this location. Staff is not unfriendly. But they hurry you up. Do not do drive thru here. Go inside to order. That way you make them all the mistakes they make.

Horrible. I went through the drive through and ordered 2 Supreme Croissants. The lady was very short with me and didn’t even smile at me. I got to eat my first sandwich. Eh… not the best. The cheese wasn’t even melted and the bacon was hard as a rock. I go to eat my second sandwich. Bite in, and they forgot the ham and cheese!!! What’s a supreme croissant with just BACON and EGG. Hard bacon and cold egg for that matter. I go to call to let the manager know that they need to be more careful and they don’t even answer the phone. I’m not even going to bother going in there. Horrible experience. Don’t recommend.

How difficult is it to get an order right? Going thru the drive thru is supposed to be more convenient but when they eff up an order we gotta go back inside tell them wait a little get the missing order then get all annoyed!
Then back to the car. I see they didn’t give ketchup as requested! Ugh I give up.

Only came here for milk. My wife and I forgot the milk from the house for our little goodness. So we had to stop and get some. Jack in the box always comes through for us in our time of need. It was 1.50 for a small carton of it haha. But thank you for saving us from a crying baby that is mad at mommy and daddy because we forgot to get her milk.

Always missing food. I go here because it’s close but also at night. Usually in such a rush and not paying attention. I understand she’s by herself working all stations but lady needs to breathe and relax. Take a moment to talk to your customers and not just crumple the bags out the window. They get irritated when you ask for ranch or anything and most of the time won’t even put any in there

Great location!!! All four corners has a restaurant that can fit your needs. Jack certainly improved the menu board! It’s a lot simpler and easier on the eyes. And I think they improved the intercom system as well, because I can understand the person on the other end. Usual fare of menu items and I certainly appreciate the fact that my burger always comes out juicy and hot, much better than before. You go Jack!

This Jack in the box is the worst of any i’ve ever been too! If you order a breakfast sandwich get ready for the worst prepared meal of your life! I don’t know why this in particular j box is so bad but it is, 20 times I have been there «only because it’s right where I work», 15 times I have been disappointed! TRUST THIS REVIEW!

I came here for lunch today and behind the counter was a beaming young lady who asked to take my order and was such a pleasant and happy person! I wanted to hug her and pinch her little cheeks but, I didn’t feel like going to jail so, I just smiled back.
After I placed my order she gave me my cup for my drink and I turned around several times then asked where the soda fountain was she points to a coke cola machine with a computor screen.
I was afraid to touch it, I wanted a strawberry Fanta but I did not see it on the screen Gaby (the beaming ray of happiness) said just touch the fanta button I touched it and like 8 diffrent fanta’s icons appeared I was overwhelmed I tried them all except strawberry.(tyhe one I always drink)
I have not seen more than 2 flavors of Fanta since, I was last in Peurto Rico. I did not even know they made so many!
I wanted to hug the machine after the Lime Fanta but, the guys behind me were already staring when I was in awe of the machine.
I don’t drink soda everyday any more so I don’t know if I can ever come back since there is probaly 30 different sodas in there! and I looked at the the lemonade choices before I saw the fanta (I tried to be good) they had several flavors of flavored lemonade? yeah that’s how you say that.
The only reason why they did not get a 5 is because the bathroom floor really needed to be mopped and there was not a changing table in the women’s rest room.
There should be one in each restroom (male and female) and have a gender nueteral bathroom I once saw one of my male friend standing by the women’s rest room holding his daughter and a diaper.
He was so happy to see me and asked me to change his daughter I teased him about if I did not happen by, would he have asked a stranger and he made a good point that stuck with me.
He said women always complain that men never help in the physical aspect of parenting but, things that we take for granted are not true for men like changing tables in the restroom, what about when she is older he does not want to take her into the restroom with him because men have a trougth? in thier bathrooms so she would see «too“much, and people don’t offer to help him pull his stroller on the bus or open the doors for him etc…
While, I do open the door for men all the time (even if they don’t have kids) I have seen other people ignore them and let the door close. I have noticed that some places offer family bathrooms this is great because this helps my friend, people who have attendants who of the opposite sex and me because my son is not ready to «go» by himself he is embaressed to follow me into the ladies room.
Anyway, Love this jack in the box and Gaby’s cheerful attitude!
