Their Baked Ziti is great, but their pizza is disgusting. If you are in the mood for Pizza, don’t come here.

The food is great but the service is awful. We literally had to argue with the cashier to get our New York combo slice. It is arguably the worst service I have ever encountered. The person who got our food was knowledgeable and good. An unfortunately bad experience from a place we normally have good experiences at.

Seriously? A pizza place that is OUT of pizza at lunchtime??? They had one stromboli and 3 slices of mushroom pizza available! Then there was a big sign behind the register: «fresh brewed iced tea, brewed all day» NOPE! Out of iced tea. And almost out of napkins. My husband ordered a lemonade which he didn’t get(at least they din’t charge us). Horrible! Not worth the time, effort or money!!!

Ok let me preface what I’m saying by he fact that I’ve already taken into consideration that mall food is generally not as good as a regular restaurant. Plain and simple this food was disgusting. I got 2 slices of pizza and they were soggy and uninspiring. In fact, I think I saw a gas station nearby that has more Italian flair than this piece of crap. Having said that, based on the pizza alone I would have given them 3 stars. What brought them into dump status is their baked ziti assortment. There was no flavor and the pasta was all congealed and crunchy. I didn’t think it was possible to mess up pasta but hats off to sbarro for creating something that tastes like it came out of the dumpster. I wouldn’t go here again if it was the only food in sight and I had been on a month long hunger strike. Pretty sure I could find better food in the Sanford and Son Salvage.

Horrible customer service. It’s like some of them(not all) are mad they work there so they act pissy toward customers. The lady in front of me ordered a pizza and she paid and had to wait for it, they couldn’t get it out of the oven quick enough to serve it to her. So she was standing there confused after she paid and no one acknowledged her or told her where to wait. Instead the girl at the cashier yelled«pepporoni» and the other girl threw it on a plate, onto a tray and slammed it(I’m not exaggerating) on the counter and walked off. I was next in line, and it was literally the same sequence for me. Go to another place in the food court to eat, you’ll have a better day.

Best fast Italian food ever! I crave every time I come to the mall. Pizza crust is crunchy all the way through. Sauce is light and delicious. Even the lasagna rocks.

This place has been in the mall food court as long as any other restaurant I can remember. I was pretty shocked to see the low reviews! That being said, I’ve never eaten here until recently, and I think I could see why it’s been less than stellar. I got the Pepperoni Stromboli. All of the food is sitting out under a display case for who knows how long. When I ordered it, they did put it back in the oven for a few minutes, so I expected it to taste/feel fresh. Unfortunately, it was still only lukewarm, but I got it To Go, so I was out the door before I noticed. The meal wasn’t bad, but I don’t know that I would eat here again unless I was in the food court and craving pizza. Even so, there’s a couple other pizza places in the mall that have fresher stuff.

Great food as always, but when I went the soda machine stopped working and the girl didn’t know how to fix it. But it was ok because she just gave me a bottled drink for the same price.

I went here a couple of years ago. The people helping were very nice. It was tasty food(then again I was starving like crazy…) but then I lost my appetite completely when I found a tiny dead bug(looked like a gnat) in my salad. Showed them the bug in my salad, and I didn’t want to be mean or cause a scene. They were really nice people. When I was showing them the bug, a lady that was considering eating there walked away. Haha. The manager was friendly and they let me have anything free, so I chose another pizza slice. But I was definitely done eating after that experience.

BOO. I don’t approve. What type of wannabe Italian name is «sbarro» anyway? Don’t mean to be hating, but my last experience here was less than stellar. We ordered one of those calzone thingies, and a slice of Hawaiian pizza. As usual, they put the sitting out pizza«fresh into the oven» for you. We got our food back paid and sat down. While the Hawaiian pizza was fine, the calzone was raw, almost doughy on the inside. We went back inside to get it fixed, but at that point we were all worried about getting food poisoning. Not a fan. Snarro, not a fan. Haha even autocorrect autocorrects your name to «snarl».

OMG. Italian people would be disgraced by this kind of food. I know it’s just mall food, but come on! The food looks all greasy and super appetizing… and seems like the obvious choice since the restaurant next door sells some weird organic looking dishes. But don’t do it! I am warning you now!!! Opt for some Mongolian Festival or Subway instead! You will be wasting your money here for cheap wannabe Italian food. Bleh.

I’ve had pizza at other sbarros and they were pretty good, despite the fact that it’s mall food. But eating the pizza at this location changed my mind about eating mall food. They really skimped out on the tomato sauce, thus making it dry. This also includes the ingredients on top. After eating about half of it, I felt like I was done… but I continued eating because I just paid $ 4 for a slice of pizza. Whomp.

Tried a slice of pie today, wish I hadn’t. Too much dough, not enough cheese. They must put it in the oven for show because it was still pretty much stone cold.

Pricey, tasteless and poor service. It’s not this location’s fault; all of locations are the same. That wasn’t the case when the chain opened. I use to always enjoy their variety of pies and would always get a slice when I was at the mall. I guess that they finally figured out that you can charge whatever you wanted and provide terrible food because people need to eat when they are at the mall. Location. Location. Location.

I don’t even know how to pronounce the name of this place. I was already in the mall at the food court looking for The Steak & Potato company and was very upset to find out it’s no longer there. As I was walking past in disgust I see a sample lady w/breadsticks and dipping sauce for Sbarro. I guess her trick worked because I got in line for a slice/breadstick. The lasagna, pasta, italian food etc looked bland sitting in sauce and the pizza looked like school lunch, but I was already in line and my steak place was gone :( A slice w/breadsticks came out to $ 5, not too bad I guess. Well it is kind of bad because if I used another $ 5 I could have got a large pizza at Pizza hut/Little Ceasers/Domino’s. I guess it’s mall prices’s so what can I do. If i went back to this pizza place it would be for bread sticks only, they were better than the pizza.

I’ve been to Sbarro’s many times before, most notably at the Fashion Valley location. I stopped by the other day after checking out some information regarding the iPhone 3GS so I figured I’d grab a bite to eat since I was here. I usually always get the combo plate that includes one pizza with a side and a drink. I ordered a deluxe slice with a side of potatoes and a drink. I have to start with the pizza. It could be good but the slice that I had was served COLD. It was barely warm. It kind of tasted like it just came out of the refrigerator. There was some good flavor to it but the fact that it was cold was a huge turnoff. Sbarro’s has some decent pizza slices but it’s nothing super special that you would get at a mom and pop shop. The potatoes on the other hand are DELICIOUS. I have a feeling that this is the reason why I keep going back to Sbarro’s. I like how they season the potatoes and cook them well. I usually add a side of ranch to the potatoes and YUM. There goes my $ 7 meal consisting of great potatoes and a cold slice. Would I come here again? Probably not at this location unless I was really hungry. I loved the Great Steak joint that was next door to this place but unfortunately with the economy, that place went under as well.
