This is the only bike shop in Eugene that I actually respect. Life Cycle was so condescending to me when I asked for a part(probably because I am a woman) so I decided never to go back there and Paul’s BWOL’s mechanics are SOOOO clueless. Last year, I had a problem with my mountain bike and they were able to fix it quickly for me and did not charge me a lot of money. They even found a problem that I wasn’t aware of and it made a huge difference in my bike. If you are complaining about $ 12 flat fixes, #1 that’s standard for a bike shop and #2 stop being lazy and fix it yourself, it doesn’t take a genius. Bottom line, if you want a mechanic that actually knows what they’re doing, I would pick this shop. They don’t have a ton of stuff for sale but I like this place more for the mechanics than what they sell.

Stopped in right after 9 am when they open Saturday morning. I was heading out for a mountain bike ride and my rear dérailleur cable had broken. They got it fixed under 20 minutes. I went in thinking it was going to cost me $ 30 or more. They charged me a very fair price. Techs were just the right amount of friendly and talkative. Hadn’t been into this shop before but for their drop in service was top notch, will be back.

I stopped by the store looking for a specific part for my XTR. The bike tech looked at the chain ring bolt took it in the back to look over all the bolts to see if he could find a perfect fit. Came back with couple of options but not an exact fit. The tech mentioned he could order one and took my information down to call me later. Tech called me later and mentioned there local distributor didn’t have one in stock. I really appreciate Collin’s Bike shop taking the time to look for this special bolt. They did greet me when I entered into the store which is always a positive note in my book!

The service here is great. The selection of accessories is pretty good too, however limited. I did however recently find out that I was gouged for a spendy accessory. Nearly double the normal retail cost, and this was also a small seller. Surprised.

Needed to pick up a bike for our daughter and this was the perfect place. Jay and the staff were extremely helpful and we found the perfect bike– we were given valuable information on how to avoid bicycle theft(happens a lot here) and we walked away with an excellent deal they didn’t take us to the bank. Highly recommend, great selection of new and used bikes and everything you can think of

My family has been taking bikes to Collin’s for years now. We use bikes as our main mode of transportation. Collin’s always provides great customer service. They fix things quickly. And, they fix things right. The only reason I don’t give them five stars is because of their prices. But, when I need parts or need someone to fix something I don’t know how to fix, I go to Collin’s.

This place is great. The manager Derek is awesome. He really took his time and explained what work would be done on my bike. He spent nearly a half hour with the 2 bikes I brought in before any work was done. He didn’t charge me for anything I need. If you need work done on your bike than this is the place to go.

My bike chain had been repeatedly falling off, so I adjusted the back tire to get better tension in the chain, but then the tire was out of alignment and rubbing up against the frame. I stopped by Collin’s one rainy day last week since it was on my way home from work anyway & I had nothing to lose at this point. Not only did the bike repair guy(sorry I didn’t get your name to properly thank you!) readjust my back tire, but he did it in less than 10 mins and for free. Extremely happy with how well my bike rides now.

A very cool bike shop. Definitely more interesting than the chain of Paul’s around the city. I really liked their selection of clothing, and their cool vintage bikes on display. I didn’t get to talk to the staff much since they were pretty busy, but that was fine since I was only browsing anyways. Good selection of high end components and shoes.
