Good quick barbq eats with friendly staff. Fairly standard southern menu. Biscuits could be more homely. Meat is cooked to perfection.

Danggggg did I just pay 10 dollars for smoked turkey that looked like it came from behind the winco deli counter?! Holy cannoli that was some proccessed meat! This place is by no means the real deal bbq. It’s almost as if it is geared towards the 70 year old grandparents buying their grandkids a meal so they can get a free ice cream afterwards. Mac and cheese here is pretty good but it all tastes so generic. I literally felt like I could go to the supermarket deli and get the same quality but for half the price. Not impressed at all, I would consider this more of a fast food bbq joint without the drive thru.

New manager started 3 weeks ago… service has gone down hill as well as the portion size! Vinney was always AMAZING, but new manager seems rude and annoyed. New cashier also very rude. You will be missed Vinney!

I’ll give it a 3 because the food is actually good. However, I do have some issues that maybe was just a one time thing. I haven’t been to this particular location in a really long time, but we decided on some bbq tonight. I got my standard two meat with the smoked cheddar sausage and brisket, ceasar salad, and potato casserole. Seems like the price went up slightly, and when we got home I was disappointed that the servings seemed smaller as well. Again the food is solid, but it’s not as worth it as it used to be. About $ 28 for both my wife and myself when we added drinks. This location is in a small little strip mall with limited parking. Right next door to a bar and down the street from Sheldon high school.

Delicious! The brisket and sausage was so flavorful and tender, I enjoyed the ham but a bit dry. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were still the best!

Stopped in for lunch while here on a business trip and reading about the food on Unilocal!I Ordered the brisket and spicy cheddar sausage with the potato casserole and mac & cheese. The brisket was average with a mild smoke but good level of moisture. Mine was all chopped up into cat size nibblets, with none of that barbecue outter bark texture im use to getting with great barbecue! The sausage wasnt hot in temp all the way thru but did have a great amount of cheddar in each slice. The sides were a little better then average for your typical run of the mill non-homemade type variety. There was only one cashier so it was about a ten minute wait to order. Being a first timer I really didnt mind as it gave me the opportunity to paruse over the menu selection. She was very friendly though and also wished me a pleasant day on my way out after my meal. All in all it wasnt bad. But honestly this place wouldnt cross my mind next time thru town, as THE go-to, must have barbecue!

I came in at 8pm on a Friday night for an order to go. It wasn’t very busy at all. I had an order of the brisket(Very good), and some of the cheese sausage(I probably wouldn’t order again). For sides, I had the potato casserole, which was maybe the best thing I ate here, and some BBQ beans, which were average. You can help yourself to the soft serve ice cream machine for dessert. I took this to go as the desserts they had that day were not appealing to me. I would probably return once I had checked out several of the other BBQ places around here.

Nicely smoked meats and helpful friendly employees. What else needs to be said other than what I already did?

Good BBQ joint with overpriced food for the type of restaurant. The food was good and the menu was large. I had pulled pork, polish sausage, Mac and beans. The wife had ribs, Mac and coleslaw. The ribs were the best tasting meat out of what we got. Again — the food was good. But at $ 30 for the 2 of us, I didn’t care for the«fast casual» theme. If you want to go the direction of Five Guys and Chipotle, you gotta have prices that are more aligned than that. They used plasticware and served food on a piece of paper(over a metal tray) which got soggy and tore apart, which meant I needed to pick paper out of my food. I’ll probably go back because their food was better than Hole In The Wall, but I’d rather go sit down, be served and use a real fork for the same size bill.

I was going to give this place 3 stars but the service was great. Food was blah, options where blah, specials where blah, atmosphere blah, décor blah. Would I eat there again? Maybe. The people where really nice. Also its hard to get a parking spot!!!

I was pleased to find a BBQ place close enough to home, But this place surpassed what I expected. The service was prompt, very polite and genuine. The BBQ was all great flavor and cooked just right, sauces were good too. If you live in the Coburg area, this place is a must.

I lived in Texas for 33 years, so I know great BBQ. Dickey’s is good, but not great — especially the selection of sides. The potato salad wouldn’t cut the mustard, because it needs. well, a bit of mustard! Aside from this their prices are slightly steep. It won’t break the bank, mind you, but it is a tad expensive for what you get. At one time, you could buy the meat by the pound at half price just before closing. This was the only time I felt the price was right. I’ll stick with backyard BBQ in the future.

Great BBQ! I have been here twice now and I have enjoyed both times, even more the second time around. Good tasting smoked meats, good tasting sides, plenty of good tasting bbq sauce & a dollop of free soft serve ice cream. All for about 10 bucks! When your craving a good bbq sandwich, your craving will be satisfied here!

Tried Dickie’s BBQ for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised! I ordered the daily special with a good portion of delicious pulled pork, two sides and a warm roll and a large drink for $ 8.99. Good value, quick and very good taste… I’ll be back!

I was fortunate enough to be ordering when the meat dude brought out a Brisket right out of the pit. We both were drooling. It was delicious. Slathered with some hot bbq sauce on there and had the loaded bake potato with Jalepena Beans. man, that was tasty. Cooled off my mouth with soft serve cone. Topped off the meal real nice.

Delicious BBQ Food! The BBQ Baked Beans are really delicious with a strong pepper taste! I got the beef brisket and 2 sides that came with mac & cheese & baked beans. The food comes out real quick! You also get all you can eat soft serve ice cream! The sweet tea is AMAZING! If you buy a drink they give you a dishwasher friendly, take home collectors cup. Great place!

I really enjoyed this place! I got the brisket sandwich and the lady chopped it all up for me and I got it with a side of waffle fries! It was really delicious the meat is cut right in front of you and it’s so moist. You can choose regular sweet or spicy bbq sauce. At the end you get free ice cream :) I will def be back!

Great food. Prices are also very affordable. They are family friendly, group friendly, and super friendly. We come here about twice per month. They really have excellent BBQ for the money.

I stopped by here to try their pulled pork sandwich, so I did. The service was great and friendly. The sandwich was really good, but I would say overpriced.

DLW and I went on a Friday night, and found the spot in a strip mall off River Road with a little difficulty. The roadside sign on the marquee was not very prominent. Parking was quite tight, since a couple of bars are also in that location, and the medical clinic next door posted giant signs warning people that they would be towed if they dared to park there. Just to drive the point home, a guy was watching from the clinic’s entrance, presumably with the towing company on his cell phone’s speed dial. Dickey’s was busy as well. You order at the counter, and by the time I got there, at least ten people were behind me. We ordered a selection of plates with pulled pork, brisket, turkey, spicy cheese sausage and Polish sausage. All of the meats were good, with DLW picking brisket as her fave, while I leaned toward the pork and Polish sausage. Sauces are on the side: regular, sweet and hot. They are all similar tomato-based recipes, with hot just the regular with red pepper flakes. Each of us had two sides, with hers an acceptable Cesar salad and nicely crisp onion straws, and mine slightly undercooked fried okra and jalapeño baked beans. Worth noting is that they were out of ribs and green beans already. The interior was nice and clean, and big enough for 100 seats or so. They have daily specials, and lunch specials for students. Everyone gets free soft serve ice cream. If you buy a drink, they give you a to-go cup automatically, which you can use to make a surreptitious root beer float if you like. It’s a chain BBQ, but pretty good for what it is.
