I used to go to the brewpub all the time for food and a beer, however the food has really gone downhill. Some of their specials can still be really good, but they are getting fewer and farther in between. The service and the beers are good, but for these prices I recommend finding somewhere else to eat.

The hard rain stout was delicious, as was the apple leek curry bowl bonus that it is in a really cool indoor outdoor space!

Met a friend for dinner and the food left a lot to be desired, so did the wine. I love the feel of the place and the serivce was fine, but for the price for a small pour of meh wine, a soggy veggie burger and soggy fries I won’t be back for food anytime soon… a beer maybe, but not food which is why I choose bar/pubs in the first place.

Very chill Brew Pub, always a wide variety of beer on tap. They have some of the best vegetarian pub options in town. Their field burger is always solid stand by and they often have a very lovely seasonal veggie sandwich.

Absolutely great during a slow lunch hour, but avoid peak times and the dinner rush. I’m a huge fan of their poutine, but I learned the hard way when to go get my fix — and when not to go. The time of one’s visit can dramatically affect the quality, and that’s pretty normal for Eugene, but something to be aware of. So long as I time it right, I’m willing to spend my money at Falling Sky most any lunch hour.

This brewpub on Oak Alley has a big selection of Falling Sky draft craft beers, in pints, flights and pitchers. There are free brewery tours offered, but we didn’t take one. Falling Sky has a nice, laid-back Eugene atmosphere. Seven of us ate outside on the small patio, even though it was an unseasonably warm afternoon. We enjoyed the beer and food(fresh-made pretzel sticks, burgers, salads, Reuben, poutine, fries, etc.). If pressed, I’d say the beer was better than the food, but this was a perfect casual spot for our group.

The food was good. I’m not a beer drinker, so I didn’t have any of the beers — but I did have a pulled pork sandwich and poutine. Honestly, the sandwich was great, but the poutine was not poutine, so I was very disappointed. It was French fries with shredded cheese and gravy. Where were the cheese curds? So I was very sad. I went to this restaurant just because they had poutine, and it wasn’t.

I did not see all the hype. The frys were excellent but I was not so impressed with food. And the service of the cashiers. As a first timer I am usually lost but I am not afraid to ask for help. I ordered a sampler and the beer was okay the imperial ipa was really good. But I agree that I did not feel very welcomed here. And especially when I went back to order again with a different person taking my order they were also just very short I personable obviously annoyed and didn’t care about his customer service. Both people attending/register were males. Good thing I was with pleasant company and I managed to have a good time but with my table of four nobody really liked their food except for the frys and some of the beer. So not too great not too bad either but I would choose falling sky for a mid afternoon or evening hang out.

Terrible food. Wings were terrible And tastes like cheap meat. Serve was awful. Guy at the front was annoyed. The only reason this is not a 1 star is the beer and salad were good.

A cool, hip, and unique place. If you don’t know what you’re doing(a first timer like me) you definitely feel out of place and very lost when ordering. But that passes quickly. I suggested this place for date night because I saw that they had poutine and I have been craving poutine since we had it in Canada a year ago! Their poutine was good, but of course doesn’t beat any I had in Canada It satisfies the poutine craving! Loved the fries. They were so good. I had a burger which was also very good! We both tried the bark beer, which the guy taking our order told us is like a root beer. It is definitely NOT like a root beer. I still liked it though, husband did not. It’s definitely different. I know this is a brewery but neither of us were in a beer mood so we actually didn’t try any of the beer. Maybe next time! Overall I definitely enjoyed the food. The employees were nice but not very personable. And the atmosphere was great. I will return to try more yummies!

Good food, good varieties of beer, just a perfect place for a night out. It’s been our regular Friday night for months! Service is great here. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up so we can sit outdoor!

It can still be loud here… as it should be… with high ceilings and a being a popular place, especially during the weekends, I expect there would be a lot of noise. I’ve returned a number of times since my first visit 2 years ago and stick to the specials. Each special item I’ve ordered has been fantastic. I’ve ordered something on the menu and was dissatisfied with it… it was absolutely forgettable too.

I give this place 5 stars! It’s one of my favorite places to go. I am never disappointed with what I order. Their menu is unique, with fresh quality ingredients and so delicious. They also have an awesome beer selection. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Love this casual laid back place. Very popular with students. You order at the counter and help yourself to silverware. Pork loin succatash: love. Tasty, moist. It was delicious. Bench seating and outside seating.

Their beer menu is massive. Way to go. We got the vege poutine and it was delicious and the Fall for Veggie sandwich with squash and fried kale and pesto chevre was outstanding. The whole menu looked excellent. We had a difficult time deciding. The people working were very nice and the space was gorgeous with high ceilings and wood tables.

There is plenty of seating, including an outdoor patio that doesn’t seem to get much action with all the rain. The thing that blew me away most was that their 6 beer flight was only $ 8. What a steal! I had the Pourter which was a dark stout with hints of chocolate, coffee and stone fruit. I don’t usually like dark beers, but this one had a subtle, delicious flavor. I’m not a fan of hoppy beers so I didn’t like much else, but my friends say that the Citrigasm was the best one! For food, I had both the cheesy cauliflower soup and Back Alley Burger. The soup was a fun spin on the typical cheesy broccoli and I loved the subtle, yet pleasant flavor. The Back Alley Burger had just the right combination of aioli, arugula, and pickled onions. The fries are pretty bomb and they even have their own house made ketchup! Bonus tip: dip the fries in the cheesy cauliflower soup, you won’t be disappointed! The Chef’s Choice Special for the day was a burger topped with a fried egg and grilled mushrooms. I watched two friends dog into them and I was green with envy. They said it was good and would recommend it, but they didn’t have that Unilocal hat on to note the compliments of flavors. I should’ve asked them to share. One had a traditional beef patty and the other had a black bean patty, but were equally satisfied. My only quip was the bar stools. The shape wasn’t conducive to comfort and the foot rungs were in an awkward place. I ultimately stood to eat because k was eternally falling off of the tiny seat. I’m sure if we had a bench or traditional table, it would have been fine. Overall, a great place for beer tasting and delicious food. Just don’t sit at the bar stools!

This place isn’t that easy to find if you’re not familiar with the city. You have to turn into a little alley way with a parking lot on one side. This place is the one with a bike rack in front of it, because apparently that’s the thing to do in Oregon… Inside décor and vibe is nice. There’s some sheltered outdoor patio seating too. It felt more like a family place than a drink-with-your-buddies type of place though, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a TV though, given that it’s in the land of Ducks. You’d think a college town brewery would try to capitalize on students wanting to drink together while watching the local football team.

LOVE that they have strong WiFi, and DOUBLELOVE for their taster sets(4 or 6) for affordable prices! We came here during our road trip from CA to OR, and Eugene was our final stop for the trip. Unilocal directed us here, since we didn’t want to have a family dinner in a college-y part of town. Bless the OR gods for their brewery smarts, because Falling Sky was one of the best breweries we’ve been on this trip. Their red ale was delicious, as well as their hoppy IPAs! We loved that they served food too! We cleaned all of our plates and everyone was extremely satisfied with the food. If you’re from out of town like us, come here and feel the food feed your soul. I loved the veggie patty(not gross and frozen like many restaurants) and my sister really loved her Po Boy! Their salad(side choice) is light and drizzled with balsamic, so get it if you want something light. There is self-serve water, and the vibes here are small-spaced but chill and relaxed. Service here was quick and patient(our family stood in front of the ordering sign for eons and the cashier didn’t scowl at us or anything). Previous Unilocalers have said that this place was family-friendly, so that was a big selling point for us. They have long dining hall tables(communal) that work well with their ambiance, and we noticed a variety of people from students to date night couples and single people eating/drinking here. I’d totally recommend Falling Sky! Good job boys.

Great interior and vibe, hearty food, solid prices, and lots o’ beer. If I lived in the area, I’d undoubtedly be a regular! We came in on a Monday around 1 pm after driving down from Portland. We were super hungry and found this place in one of my billions of guidebooks — if you’re embarking on a Eugene brewery crawl, this place is definitely worth a stop. The restaurant is built into a high-ceilinged hangar where they also brew all the beer. Grab a tasting flight and chill out! During weekday lunches, they currently have a $ 10 «Pork + Pint» special — A Pulled Pork Sandwich + side + a $ 4.50 pint. It’s a crazy deal, and my bf immediately jumped on it. You can upgrade your side to Poutine for an extra $ 1.50 — this beats getting the Poutine appetizer for $ 8, unless you’re really hungry or sharing with a few people. Sweet BBQ pulled pork on a soft bun w/banana peppers and slaw on top = super good! On a relatively veggie-less road trip, I jumped at the chance to grab a Veggie Sandwich w/Cole Slaw($ 10) — the hummus was great, but the pesto goat cheese spread threw it over the moon. Delicious roasted veggies on marble rye bread. Definitely get this if you’re going veg for the day! I love hanging out in breweries, but I usually hate craft beer. My boyfriend also trends toward the maltier, wheatier side of things. Falling Sky has a solid list(4 – 5) of brews with a low IBU, which means less nasty bitter hops and happier us. Worth a stop if you’re in the area — they have indoor and outdoor seating, free bike share, and lots of kid-friendly grub(check that Poutine). Go Ducks!

We drove 3 hours to go here and the food and beer was good, but gosh darn if I didn’t want a cookie and paid for one, but it smelled like peanut butter! I asked if there was peanuts and I was told«there might be macadamia nuts.» So I even ate some and now will probably die. The server didn’t try to find out what was in it for me, even after I asked and pried, and they didn’t call the bakery who made it, nothing. Not even an attempt. Then there was a fly who wouldn’t leave us alone. Overall, the food was good and my review would have been good, but 3 hours in the car to visit this specific place and then eating a cookie that might kill me tomorrow… I am not happy. Oh, and the bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush AND they only have an air dryer which means the million people who didn’t wash their hands are leaving nice presents for you on the door pull(I grabbed toilet paper to open the door and then had to try and get it off my hands after it stuck to my CLEAN yet wet fingers)
