We are renovating our new-to-us home. Zachary Burr(in Millworks) has gone above and beyond with exemplary customer service on multiple occasions. Our home is actually closer to the Albany location however those employees are more interested in their handy-dandy handheld computers to actually answer my questions or send me down the correct department.

Ryan in the appliance department was incredibly helpful. He was straight forward when answering my questions, even though they did not have the item I wanted in stock. He called the salem location and had them put it on hold for me to pick up. Excellent customer service and very friendly.

I Co-run a handyman business in Eugene /Springfield area and we spend around 150 thousands a year at home Depot. I walked into Lowe’s today at 3:30 to see if we would like there customer service. Boy was I wrong I walked around for 25 minutes not one associate bother to stop and ask me if I was able to find everything. Then when I checked out is it first time associate bother to even ask me if I had found everything I needed it when I told him that he was the first one his response was well did you least find what you were looking for. I will never recommend Lowes for nobody know Customer Norwell I love my employees to shop here.

Passed dozens of employees. 0 asked if I needed anything. Walked the whole store and finally hollered to a gal my question as I headed out the door… Disappointed.:(

The customer service at this store has deteriorated over the last year. You can’t find employees and when you do they don’t know how or don’t want to help. I believe they only have a couple good staff left. It’s sad because it was my place to shop, but Home Depot has really improved and it’s my place to go now. I was at Lowe’s last night to give it one more shot and I had an employee walk by me who didn’t make eye contact and acted as he was on the phone. The second he passed me his phone went down. The second guy I tracked down said he’s only been here for a month and he didn’t know how to answer my simple question. It’s sad that he had no training? He should at minimum know who to call? Good bye Lowes!

In four words: «Go to Home Depot.» I have gone back to Lowe’s a few times to see if the customer service has improved and it hasn’t as of this morning. Don’t expect anyone to approach you for help. If you want to find something, you will be kinda pointed in the general direction and the cashiers aren’t very friendly either. In fact, several times they talk amongst themselves and complain about the other employees. No wonder it is never crowded.

One of the most unorganized businesses I have had the UNFORTUNATE ability to work with. I spent nearly 30 minutes on hold, being transferred from department to department, when I just needed some price on fencing.(Jerry’s took about 15 minutes from beginning to end, and gave me everything I needed) Finally got someone from the«gardening department» after no one from the lumber department EVER even bothered to answer. What a waste. This isn’t the first time that I’ve had this problem. I’m done with them.

Amazing service, everyone knows what they’re doing, always helpful and treat their customers exceptionally well. Get a mylowes card, you’ll save 5% with each purchase as well! I love lowes. Shop here, better than other improvement stores! Jerry’s is local, but is horrid to their employees and don’t have enough staff to help customers. The Home Depot is even worse with their service, but I at least hear they are treated alright, just alright though. Lowes has BBQ appreciation days for customers and even child activity work shops to entertain your children and help them learn. :)

Ugh, the SERVICE here is about as bad as you can imagine. Not exaggerating. Still, I come in since it’s close. I think I’m just writing this to vent my frustration. Stopping now.

Just wanted to say that despite it’s convenience in location for me, I’d prefer to drive further for a place with friendlier staff. There seems to be little focus on customer service mainly for the phone operator & checkout staff. I have met floor sales people who are helpful & fairly friendly, but others who have made me feel like I didn’t belong or was being rude. I am always polite, it’s been hammered in since I was a baby & I work in the service industry & have for years. Perhaps no one trained these folks how to provide good customer service & retain customers, but until they do so I will trade my trips to Lowes for longer drives to Jerry’s.

Went here for products for a recent bathroom remodel. Place is laid out well and had no problem getting good and qualified help. Given the fact of this stores largest competitor is close by, these folks are now our first stop for larger items and there are a number of reasons for that after dealing with them. Check their specials in the local paper or when you enter the store.

I always find the best prices on major appliances and home repair things here. I usually head for Jerry’s, but when they don’t have what I need or a good selection of what I’m looking for, Lowe’s has it– is never packed and always has someone available to help!

I bought these adhesvie hooks that you remove the backing and stick to the wall, instead of putting holes in the wall.(cause I was hanging up some hats) and guess what… the very first hot day here, all the hooks came right off the wall. each day I came home from work, there was a hat laying on the floor. good thing the hooks were only holding up some hats. and yes there was only one hat per hook, guess next time I will just drive some nails in the wall next time.

It’s a big box store for the handy-person(which I’m not). I had a key made. It worked. That’s the extent of my thrilling story.
