Staff was not polite, pizza was cold and bland, they screwed up my friend’s calzone order. Overall not a good experience, hopefully just a bad time of day.

Been going to Mezza for years now. Eaten za on 2 continents & several islands. For my taste, best pizza I’ve ever had. Wife loves the fruit & nut salad. We do by the slice cuz to hard to pick just one kind! ALLGOOD. Friday tradition in our house. HVAC Dan

I was pleasantly surprised by the choices available for the grab and go slices in addition to the made to order options on the menu. Its hard to find gluten free pizza that actually has good crust, but this was definitely the place to go. The thin crust was extra crispy and had a great flavor. It was also nice that they are okay with making two different halves of the pizza so you can please everyone in the group. It had the atmosphere of small comfy diner. I can’t wait to come back for some more yummy pizza.

yeah bra it’s pretty good here as far as calzones go. i have to admit, i was taken aback by the appearance of said calzone and at least not in part influenced by the chick with the beanie nose ring who told us that the chef dude had been taking pics of the calzone to share with pals, which was nice. So yeah check it out dont’ fret you’d digit the most.

Found Mezzanine Luna driving home from Albany and it didn’t disappoint. Got half meat meeting and half the boot, and my God is this pizza delicious!!! They both were cooked to perfection and were loaded with topping and most of all, flavor. We also ordered the garlic knots and they were also very tasty and packed with deliciousness. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a solid pizza place.

Best pizza in Eugene! Slices are available all the time, so it’s perfect whether you’re on-the-go or looking for a quick meal to share with someone. I highly recommend the various creative combinations available by the slice… Always delicious.

Super good pizzas and salads! Casual setting. Nice people. It could be crowded sometimes because it’s a popular place for quick pizza. Try to order over the phone then come to pickup.

The pizza at lunch time is always fresh. But then when you order it they put it in the oven for about five minutes. I grew up in NY and my opinion is that this long of a re-heat kills the pizza. If the pizza came out of the over in the last 5 – 8 minutes it’s ready to serve. A re-heat should not blacken the crust. It shouldn’t dry out the sauce near the crust. I don’t get why I have slices so hot I can’t touch them for a few minutes. For crunchy crust I suggest offering a thin crust pie. Perhaps you could offer a thicker pizza so I can get my chewy crust. I think this pizza could be the best in town. I really think it’s just a matter of cook time. With a line out the door at this weekday lunch, just serve fresh slices and don’t waste the time and energy on reheating pizza and then finding the customer.

We had the medium caesar salad to share, it was at least an entire head of lettuce, so huge, really crisp and delish!(the dressing was so good I wish I had more and will probably ask for extra next time) My husband got a slice of the busy bee and pepperoni AND they actually brought him an extra slice because the first one was«too small»! mind you it was still like a quarter of a regular pizza if you were anywhere else, so that was cool. My pepperoni was super thin and perfect. We both also had Ninkasi slieghers on tap. All in all 23.00 bucks. We will be back!

Enjoyed the thin crust pizza very much. Nice char to the bottom as it should be. Garlic and cheese knots were good too. Don’t think I’d drive here just to eat but it was worth walking to from our hotel.

Best pizza in Eugene that we have found so far. Called in for carry out and it was ready in 20 min. Greek salad was tasty and the large portion was enough for at least 4 people. We ordered a large pepperoni and a large Marge. Both were really tasty. Would like to go in and try their lunch special. Will get my repeat business.

Really fresh Caesar Salad. I probably got the wrong kind of pizza slices because they were closing pretty quickly and I wasn’t paying attention… it was super salty, like it had anchovies on it. Didn’t resonate with me well, but judging from the other ingredients and the overall aroma of the place, they know what they’re doing.

We were in them mood for pizza and heard about this place. Once we read the menu we decided these were probably the most creative pizza’s in Eugene. They’re really big, too, one large feeds four people, easily. Of course, we had to sample the cheese pizza and the garden pizza seemed interesting as well. The large chunks of artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, peppers and roasted garlic and onions made for a nice combination of flavors. The mushroom pizza was great too, with ample mushrooms and cheese. The crust wasn’t anything special, it’s not about the crust here, the flavors were in the ingredients. Will return for sure.

Probably the best pizza place in Eugene if you’re looking for New York style by the slice. My only complaint was that I ordered over the phone and they charged me for 2 calzones. I didn’t realize until I got home since my order was so big and I got take out. That was the only complaint I have for the 2 years going there. IFYOUAREINTHEDOWNTOWNAREAGOTOMEZZALUNA!!!

In the not too recent past, pizza-by-the-slice joints were rare. In Oregon they were anyway. You might find them rimming college-campuses, or high schools. But that’s about it. Mezza Luna now provides a spot in downtown Eugene, and gives you higher-end pizza and local beers to wash it down. If Eugene has a better pizza spot, please somebody let me know, because I gotta see it to believe it. Mezza Luna might not offer the cheapest slices, but they are hefty portions, and one again, Grade-A. Not that you grade pizza typically, but you get the point.

I think I have a new favorite lunch spot. For two slices of pizza and a medium salad that’s big enough to split by itself, I paid a little over $ 12 for two people. It being a beautiful spring day, something light and summery was calling my name, so the Greek salad hit the spot. Lots of greens, wonderfully acidic pickled veggies, a little bit of cheese and balsalmic dressing on top. To pair with that, we got Oliver’s Travels(olives, meat, all the happiness in the world on a crust) and Pining Spinster(pine nuts, spinach, an amazing white sauce and love) to split. The atmosphere ranges from a little quiet to busy as heck during lunchtime, so be prepared to share a table with a stranger when noon rolls around. All that said, I’m kinda picky when it comes to pizza; I like a good NY style crust, a tomato sauce with the proper amount of acidity and sweetness, and fresh toppings. So far, I haven’t found that combo at too many places, but Mezza Luna has it all together. Thanks to my pizza whisperer friend, I tried this place today and was delighted.

The power of Unilocal: Blazing south on I-5 and we want pizza. If it weren’t for smartphones, Unilocal and mobile internet, we’d have never found this place – and we’d have missed out. Just a quick stop, partner, daughter and I; slices at the counter(I had the«Experience») with soft drinks. The place is small and frequented by post-soccer game families and trendoid hipsters alike, there’s room for everyone. Pizza was great, served quickly, staff was awesome. And the price was right. TL:DR, Go here, do this.

… and speaking of… Mezza is always spot on. Nice. chewy, flavorful THIN crust, yummy sauce, generous cheese and toppings, creative combos, and items for veggies and vegans, huge slices. You actually will feel like you had a meal for what you get and pay for and it’s delicious! OH!!! Can’t forget the salads! They are HUGE and very fresh :) Parking kind of sucks but keep circling cause it’s totally worth it.
