Yes, Really Though… no really, you have to try the Yes, Really Though! A delicious waffle topped with an onion jam, bacon, goat cheese, a balsamic reduction, spinach, basil, pear, and Vermont maple syrup… and all of these flavors meld SODAMNDELICIOUSLY. I am definitely a sweet and salty gal, so this waffle hit the spot perfectly. My husband got the Goat in Headlights, which was alright, but not blow-my-mind amazing to me. It looked like something I could possibly make at home. There’s a bit of a wait to receive your food, but it’s a clean little place, items are priced decently, and the coffee is good. Can’t wait to try some of their other waffles!

I got to eat here twice on my visit this time! My first morning in town was a Friday, so things were slow at OTW. I brought my local friend with me, and savored the delicious coffee while we waited for our orders. This time, I had the pear/brie waffle from the sweet and savory section of the menu. It was a sophisticated breakfast, flavorful, and so good with the light crunch of the liege waffle. The next morning, things were busier. We stood in line for a short time before ordering. The coffee wasn’t as easy to come by. Might want to make that a priority on busy days. But, OTW can’t help it that their coffee is so good, everyone wants to drink it all day. This day, I had a more provincial breakfast, just eggs, waffle, bacon and pork belly. Still as engaging and enjoyable as my previous day’s breakfast. OTW would be my go to breakfast place if I lived nearby. It’s always a wonderful experience!

Went in for breakfast on a weekday and was treated to amazing waffles. Had their brie and pear waffle that was delicious. The portion size is just right that you don’t feel stuffed when you leave and not too small that you don’t feel stiffed either ;-) The downside is that they get quite busy and usually is a line to order/get the food.

Loved this place! I had the Brie and pear waffle, which was melt in your mouth good, and my bf had the«goat in headlights» and gave it rave reviews! We will definitely be back!

The waffles are great, but the pork belly with chili maple sauce is ridiculously good.

Always delivers. New to the Eugene area and we are already repeat patrons of this delicious restaurant. Absolutely tasty waffles served just the way you want; savory, in-between, and sweet. Do yourself a favor and ask for a side of the chili garlic hot sauce, you won’t be disappointed.

An interesting concept with mostly successful execution, however portion to price ratio is a bit off and the food preparation is quite slow. This coupled with a sparse dining room(both in seating and in atmosphere) lead to a lower rating.

You can’t beat the amazing waffles at Off the Waffle. A highlight of Eugene. And try the handcrafted lattes. Excellent.

It looked really good on the menu and reviews and then I got there… It’s more of a chain restaurant than what I was expecting. You order at the counter, sit & they bring it to you. Ordered the Goat in the Headlights. They were out of basil, a key ingredient on this item. I added bacon and tomato. It came, it was really dry and the waffle with the goat cheese made it too sweet. & to top it off the whole thing has given more a horrendous stomachache. Never again. Update: I ended up throwing up all night long & I mean gut wrenching food poisoning throwing up til there was nothing left and continuing to throw up bile. I was sick for another entire day not throwing up just nausea and unable to eat anything. On the 3rd day I was able to eat but of course my body was unsure of what to do with it due to the nightmare it had just been through. 4 day today I’m fine and back to normal. I could have done without any of this.

I love off the waffle! I went to school in Eugene and remember all the times in college we would grab the goat eyes waffle and nom out! Really enjoyed the bacon one too(smothered in more bacon than waffle).

I love love love going here. It’s a real treat. So far I’ve gotten: the original, the self-fulfilling prophecy, the plain jane, and the fruit party. I’ve also tried the hot cocoa. My favorite is the self-fulfilling prophecy, though it would be awesome if they made it with two waffles instead of one. It was ALMOST satisfying, but not quite. The eggs and bacon on top were incredible. Same goes for the others except for the fruit party. The fruit party is huge and I don’t think I finished it. The hot chocolate felt like too much on top of the fruit party! However, the waffles themselves are the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t even know I could like waffles before trying this place. If you plan to stop by more than once, they have a punch card,

One of my favorite breakfast /brunch restaurants. Friendly staff. They have Pacori coffee on tap — so yummy! Their Belgian waffles bring comfort to my soul.

Perfectly paired with a pumpkin spiced latte infused with an aromatic, in-house made syrup, The ImPEARsonator* waffle is an explosion of complimentary fall flavors(basil, goat cheese, maple, sliced pears, slow roasted pork) that can’t quite correctly be conveyed with words alone. So, at the risk of sounding like a small child lost in sweet & savory bliss, I sit back, smile and sigh, «mmmmm.» *This item was a daily special when I visited in October 2015. With any luck it will become a permanent, or at least seasonal, fixture on this wonderful waffle menu.

This is the kind of place where you wish you had a bigger stomach, more money, and more time so you could try all of their delectable creations. The H-Bomb(with apples, cheese, and cinnamon) was the bomb. Amazing flavor and fresh ingredients. I was quoted 20 minutes but it was delivered to my table in under 5. They also have bottomless coffee, which I had my fair share of. The vibe of the place makes you want to sit back, relax, study, and enjoy the atmosphere. The only problem is the location is not set up for for people to hang out. They are set up like a regular restaurant with no comfy seating, no wifi, and few power outlets. The setup says«order at the counter, enjoy, and get out.» Awesome place and I’m glad I stopped, just wish I could have relaxed there after devouring my waffle.

YUUUUMMMM! I can barely formulate any words after eating«The Overachiever». It is a Belgian waffle with banana and dark chocolate drizzle– and I added fresh whip. It was like heaven in my mouth. My eyes went wide and I think I literally gasped it was so good. I don’t want to build it up or overhype this place but they really are delicious! My only warning is that it was very sweet, almost more like a dessert. I couldn’t quite finish the whole thing. I also tried the bacon my husband ordered and it was some of the best cooked bacon I’ve ever had. Also the large glass of fresh squeezed OJ is well worth the $ 4.50 so go ahead and get it. I also really appreciated that the manager(I’m assuming that’s who he was) stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. And it was! I will definitely be back to try some other delicious toppings on my waffle.

First time dining in and I got the waffle with chocolate chips, bananas and dark chocolate sauce… The sauce is pretty amazing. If this had a peanut butter element involved I think I might have died and went to heaven. I also got an iced tea which took a little while but it was all worth it. The delivery of my waffle by the fella rockin short shorts was an added bonus hahaha thanks guys

This is a really cool place, clean joint, kind staff. In my opinion, the food needs some criticism. Having spent some time in Liege, the waffles are absolutely on point. Good caramelization of sugars, dense and sweet. You’ll like those. However! The stuff they throw on them is questionable. I love the sweet savory idea, go ahead an dip a piece of salami in chocolate and then cover it in whip cream. I’ll eat four. But, these combos of waffles were a little strange for my taste. I had a waffle with brie, pears, and onions caramelized in balsamic. Everything was great until I tasted the onions, they were bitter and clashed with everything on the plate. It nearly ruined my afternoon. My girlfriend got the other pictured waffle with eggs, avocado, goat cheese, some seasonings and greens. It was awesome! Which leads me to believe unless you get that you might be playing Russian roulette with your tongue. For the price it might be worth it, nobody is forcing you, but you have been warned! Other than that, fun little adventure and nice presentation. Coffee was good too.

Few years ago, I would have given the place 4 stars but then, I’m comparing this to their original store further down south eugene. The waffles were still good but they’ve seriously cut down on their menu items. This was really disappointing for me because some of my old favorites were cut from the menu. They might have done this to streamline food preparation and to reduce the long wait time noted in other reviews. When I went in there this week, they were out of a bunch of toppings. This, along with the reduced menu, left me disappointed. That said, I was impressed by the small but good amount of loose leaf tea available. And you can’t go wrong with their hot chocolate.

Waffles were good. You can get a BOGO half off coupon in the coupon magazine. Pretty good flavor combinations. They should use ripe fruit though… like the pears slice were too hard and didn’t merge well with the other stuff. Employees aren’t too enthusiastic here. Minus one star because this location is not warm and fuzzy like the other one. Out of town guest really enjoyed this treat.

Oh my waffles. These are delicious. My husband, mother-in-law and I stopped here on Black Friday. Their locally roasted coffee is fantastic, and their waffles are interesting. I don’t know if it’s possible to order a bad one. They all sounded fabulous. I ended up with the Yeah, Really Though. Caramelized onions, spinach, balsamic reduction, bacon, chevre cheese and pears topped a slightly sweet waffle. The whole thing just melted in my mouth and created such a delicious combination! A little sweet, a lot savory, and the ingredients were such a complement to each other… would eat these all the time if I lived nearby. My husband had The Schmooli — pears, bacon, applesauce and walnuts on a waffle. My mother-in-law had The Walter — apples, whipped cream, bacon and I’m not sure what else. All of them were delicious. My husband wished the pears were apples on his to better go with the bacon, but other than that, no changes! We will definitely be back! The staff is friendly and it’s order first and sit after, so look at the menu ahead of time. It’s hard to decide! Also, they have a couple omelets, and lots of beverage choices(including beer, mimosas, espresso, and more!). Additionally, all their produce is organic which is cool too. If you’re in Eugene, stop by and eat at Off the Waffle!
